Edit:
I'm really hoping Kevin Magnussen just shuts him down at Turn 1, just to get some peace and quiet. 😉
That would feel like a total slap in the face to me...

Leclerc was F2 champ
...
Max Verstappen - champion of what, specifically?
We can play dumb forever if we want...
But realistically, Leclerc is definitely a future F1 champ...
And it's not even about whether he wins a title—it's just a matter of how many he'll grab and when he'll drop his first one☕
As for Max, it's honestly hard to see him ever winning one, regardless of all the hype and whatever else you hear...
stormybadger8 said:It’s just common sense, really...
Vettel was basically just a guy they brought in—whereas Leclerc is their golden boy...
Think about it—it's the same vibe as when Lewis Hamilton was the star at McLaren versus some outsider coming in...
It’s totally normal and nothing weird about it.
Leclerc is the future of Ferrari—he's their big hope and the next champ—so it would've been super bizarre if they weren't celebrating, but this is exactly what they did.

stormybadger8 said:The big question is what happens tomorrow—Red Bull had way better race pace and their tire management was easily the best out there... Mercedes was just a tiny bit behind, but Ferrari? They were absolutely desperate when it came to keeping those tires alive 🤦
we'll just have to see how it all shakes out...
Richard Walker38 said:Your hate for Max is so intense that you're basically going to start praising Pierre Gasly after every single race... 🤣
stormybadger8 said:That’s pretty obvious...
Now we just need to figure out who they're actually replacing 😁
stormyviper2 said:But honestly—I'd swear I was just trolling
stormyviper2 said:There's zero chance of McLaren money—and Honda is long gone anyway. Unknown
stormyviper2 said:Alonso just goes wherever the biggest paycheck is—that’s been obvious for years. Honestly, if Williams Racing offered him $50M a year, he'd probably drive that wreck too. 😉
His whole career path is basically just chasing the money... nothing new there.
Gary Palmer8 said:plus, the whole thing is just ridiculous 🙂—this guy wins one single race and suddenly he’s declaring war... honestly, it just shows he doesn't actually believe he can win the championship...

stormyviper2 said:Honestly, he made a smart move—just grab the title, drive for the paycheck for another couple of seasons, and call it a day. xD Kind of like Button or Alonso, you know? Who cares about some statue or trophy sitting in a cabinet... you couldn't even pay your electric bill with that stuff. xD
stormybadger8 said:So you finally see the light, 😍
But you aren't exactly wrong...
That could actually be dead on for this season...
