So, I ended up messing around with that Windows 7 build 7068 for a bit, but after about three days of dealing with it, I just wiped it clean and went back to Vista. My TV tuner was acting all wonky and wouldn't work right, so yeah, if you're thinking about trying that specific build, maybe just be careful or something.
I mean, if you really want to get the best transformation pack, I guess you'd go with the one made specifically for Vista Vista, but for Windows 7 Windows 7, you definitely want 😉
I mean, yeah, it’s just way more fun to actually watch how Windows 7 handles everything and really get into using it, rather than being stuck messing around on that total disaster of a Vista...
Hey Noah Miller6, how on earth are you getting updates on your version of Windows 7 when my copy—which I grabbed from a torrent but is totally legit and activated—isn't seeing anything at all?
EDIT:
So, I was wondering, does Windows Media Player on your Windows 7 act like this when you try to play MPEG files?
Is it just me, or is anyone else getting this weirdly deep, sort of muffled sound whenever they're just browsing the web or clicking through files? It’s like, instead of that usual crisp little click you'd expect, I'm hearing this strange, low-end thudding noise, at least on my end... maybe it's just my hardware acting up, I don't know.
So, I was just wondering, did they actually end up fixing that weird little bug in the RC version involving the floppy drive? Like, I guess you know what I mean—is it still doing that annoying thing where it checks the floppy drive every single time you try to open my Computer?
I honestly can't quite wrap my head around why everyone says Windows 7 is such a massive step up from Windows Vista, because if you're running Vista with Service Pack 2, it feels pretty much like Windows 7 to me... I mean, personally, I actually think Vista looks a bit nicer, especially with that taskbar and everything...
So, I was wondering... why is it that every single time you open up My Computer, the system always insists on checking the floppy drive? It’s like, you can actually hear it making that noise, almost like it's desperately trying to read something that isn't even there, you know?
Personally, I’ve always found that having a Widescreen setup is way better than sticking with that old-school 4:3 ratio, because I guess you just get so much more breathing room on the desktop, which makes actually getting stuff done feel a lot smoother and easier, you know?
