I would love to get some insight here... we decided to go ahead and submit a urine sample for testing on our own initiative... My little girl is 2 years old, and while she seems perfectly fine during the day and says nothing hurts when asked, she’s been really restless and fussy at night.
I recall stumbling upon something similar once, but I honestly can't remember the URL because it didn't really grab my attention at the time... sorry about that! If I happen to run into it again, I'll be sure to let you know.
Victoria’s homemade cookies. They’re located just past Markov’s field... I actually grabbed her business card if you need the number... but make sure to give her a heads-up first... and keep in mind it's currently Lent... She only had a few specific varieties available for birthdays, but we tried some different ones last time... plus, I brought my mom along... she was absolutely thrilled! We ended up grabbing a mix of Victoria’s treats and Mi-Ma cookies... honestly, both she and I feel terrible that we didn't just get everything from Victoria... oh, and the price is $23/kg
We finally picked up those pastries yesterday... we tried the nine-layer Canadian cream cake 😲 along with several other varieties... everything was absolutely delicious... the lady running the shop was incredibly kind, and the prices were more than reasonable!
I’ve officially decided to skip Sugar... the reason is quite simple... they only offer six varieties of pastries, and frankly, I’ve already found something much better... I actually met two women who bake their own homemade treats. In fact, my friend and I were being so cheeky that we started picking favorites based on which baker we liked more! But honestly, I’m going to buy from both of them anyway. We were originally planning on mixing different kinds, so now I don't even have to stress about choosing which one was superior! 😁
Exactly... in principle, that was our only real gripe with them... they aren't exactly eye candy... but honestly, I care way more about how they taste than whether they look pretty sitting on a platter all night without anyone grabbing at least three treats from the tray... you know? I mean... let's go scout out some other dessert options just in case... but I think we've hit the nail on the head. My plan was always to do a two-tier approach anyway: one type of dessert specifically for the restaurant service and another variety meant for guests to take home or pass around.

Honestly, this whole thing gives me major Jesus vibes—you know, the part where He’s out there multiplying the fish and bread. It's like, one little half-pound of cake and suddenly you, your friend, and the whole choir have had a taste🙂
Hehe... you clearly don't know me very well... do you really think everyone walked away with a whole cake?! 🤣 It was quite literally a testing phase... those little treats were sliced into tiny, microscopic pieces... ccccc
My mom actually walked away with half a pound of free treats from a local bakery yesterday. At first, I told her they seemed a bit too self-assured about their quality... but once I realized which bakery it was, my reaction was a hard NO! After taking a bite myself, though, I had a total change of heart. I ended up bringing some over to a friend who is currently eight months pregnant and getting ready for her big wedding day. She called me just ten minutes later to tell me how much she absolutely loved them! I even took them to a choir rehearsal for a taste test, and everyone there agreed they were fantastic. Honestly, I think I've found my go-to dessert. We’re still planning to try these other cookies we heard rumors about, but honestly, it’s only so I can prove just how much better these ones are! 😁
I suspect she’s already aware of the price point, given that it's explicitly listed right there on the website... however, the site fails to mention how many people are actually included in that quote 😉
Here is the entire thread dedicated to "cake and that," so I’m fairly certain the ladies over there will have the answers... though, if you ask me, we're really just looking at a standard little classic cake meant for about 24 people.
Lisa Reed5 said:In my experience, when I talked to the folks at the restaurant, they told me they needed me to sign a formal statement—basically a waiver saying that I personally guarantee everything about the cakes, so if a health inspector ever shows up, they aren't held responsible for what I made.
Hmm... well, this isn't necessarily a bad tip, though I honestly didn't think to ask about it myself... how silly of me! Thanks so much! 😉
Michael Palmer862 said:I'm honestly not sure what a fair price is since I paid $0.83 for my soy treats, and that included having them delivered to the hall already packed in those little boxes. Wouldn't the bakery where you ordered the cookies just have some boxes on hand?
I actually managed to find some for $0.83 😁 thanks!
