Discrimination based on sexual orientation and lifestyle choices in Feedback & Suggestions ·
Ashley Bishop4 said:It wasn't even you saying that—Nicole Ruiz was the one who made the claim. You're just jumping all over the place trying to back her up... honestly, it's a bit much!

It’s not that you should be questioning it—it’s just that you haven't quite wrapped your head around it yet. 🤦

Look, you didn't actually answer my questions—and I asked for them to be brief and to the point. You still haven't explained why you consider physical contact to be sex, or how a threesome setup even fits into the logic of US Advertisements.
Instead, you're just circling around, stuttering, and hiding behind everyone else's opinions and impressions.

And supposedly, they’re all just out there searching for some kind of freedom and justice.

Look, if you don't want to talk to me because you aren't interested in anything I have to say, then fine—have it your way. Consider this your freedom and your right to walk away. 🙂I’m going to throw another riddle your way. This one is a bit easier, though I’m still holding out a little hope that you might actually wrap your head around it this time! So, we've got two different scenarios here:

So, she’s looking for some physical touch. Honestly? It's pretty straightforward when you look at it that way.
So, this guy's out here looking for a threesome.

Look, I’ll make this easy for you—I’m just going to lay it out exactly as it is. 😵So, looking at your black-and-white chess Swiss system—how do you think these two situations stack up?

Either way, they both just mean someone's looking for sex.
Look, let’s get one thing straight: saying "either this or nothing" doesn't automatically mean someone is hunting for sex. It's just not that simple.

So, looking at it again—if that first point is actually right, then neither of these Advertisements even qualify as US under the rules.
If that second point is actually true, then I won’t disqualify them based on that specific rule. But if we’re going by the other rule—the one involving the actual logic of the US Forum—then I’m out. I’m disqualifying that second option because it just doesn't make sense. You can't have a "Lonely Heart" when there are two hearts involved. One isn't two, you know? Surely you can agree with me on that! 🤷

At the end of the day, I might say—maybe if I were feeling a bit cynical—that you weren't actually fighting to get that girl's Advertisement reinstated. Looking at how you've written everything, it’s pretty clear that you don't actually care that the post was deleted.

Wait, so you don't actually care about people having their advertisements removed? It seems like you aren't even concerned about the ads themselves—you're just obsessed with pointing out how unfair the moderators are. And does it really not bother you if an entire thread, one that’s actually helpful to a ton of people, gets completely ruined because of this? You just don't care at all, do you?

Nah, we don't...

And that's really the core issue with your posts... everything else just becomes irrelevant because it’s all built on a fundamentally flawed premise... 😉

If you really want to insist that everyone needs to play dumb and start philosophizing about how "physical touch" doesn't necessarily have to mean sex, then let's just look at the reality of the situation...

So, she’s out here asking for "physical touch"...

So, some guy is out there looking for someone who’s just "chill and down for hanging out, partying, and gaming together"...

So, they aren't exactly hunting for sex... at least nothing more explicit than those people looking for "physical touch" or married guys searching for a "woman without prejudices"...

So, what you're saying is...
How exactly did you manage to convince yourself that hanging out and having a good time is somehow the same thing as sex... because if that’s your logic, you're living in a completely different reality than the rest of us, since most people don't view socializing as an intimate act...

To me, it’s crystal clear that both Advertisements are just looking for sex... I can wrap my head around someone arguing that neither one is about sex, but claiming one definitely is while the other might not be? That just feels like someone's playing games... 🙂

The lord calls it an "epochal forum suicide" 😉

I'm on board with everything else you said here (just like Sea Princess), and honestly, this whole thread probably should've been nuked from the start, but regarding that specific point, I think the lord hit the nail on the head—it wasn't her intention, and she likely won't even realize what happened, but she basically just scored an own goal...
Music events during wartime in Music ·
Even in places like Karlovac, there was plenty of live music going on despite the war and all the constant chaos. Most of what passed for the local "alternative" scene back then was still active, and we even had some foreign bands rolling through—some German punks, and those guys from the Netherlands were actually incredible: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heideroosjes — those were the days... in terms of the music, at least. There were way more real shows, and you’d see punks, metalheads, rockers, and everyone else just being brave enough to come play during a war 🙂 I don't recall any of that cheesy, commercialized nonsense back then.

It might sound backwards, but there was actually more happening and a better variety of music during the war than in the years following it; there was this sense of defiance, people just creating things themselves, whether it was gigs or guitar competitions, just everything... After the war, a sort of depression set in and the whole scene just collapsed, though in the last two or three years, things have finally started picking up again, people have woken up, and there are actually quite a few events, little festivals, and shows now.
Canadian language on the forum? in Feedback & Suggestions ·

That's why I don't want my kids on this forum—so they don't pick up those Serbianisms that frankly make my blood boil. 🙂

Problem solved, then your kids won't be on the forum, at least not while you're watching... 🙂

brightcrane56 said:Look, I'm sorry, but I don't understand Mexican and I have absolutely no desire to learn it. So, all your arguments pretty much go right out the window.
Let's get back to the core idea: that all languages should be treated equally.

The second half of what you said is just your own opinion, but the first part is a flat-out lie...🙂

But bluemason3 is ultimately right about this. The owner isn't bothered, the admins and mods aren't bothered, and the vast majority of people on this forum aren't bothered—just you few. Of course, you're entitled to your opinion, but I think you should be sober enough to accept the fact that forums (especially ones this size) can't function by catering to every single individual whim...

Users from Mexico use the Latin alphabet, so they write comments that everyone here can understand perfectly well...

brightcrane56 said:Let’s go ahead and reiterate two fundamental axioms once more:

1. Every single language other than American is considered a foreign language (and yes, that includes Mexican).
2. All foreign languages deserve to be treated with complete equality.

Now, there are a couple of arguments floating around that I find incredibly shaky:

1. The idea that "I understand Language X, so it's fine to use" (which falls apart because if someone else understands Language Y, they should be entitled to that same equal treatment).
2. The claim that "this forum is a private matter, so we can do whatever we want" (but look, even in the US, private spaces aren't exempt from following the law).

Honestly, it might be high time we started putting together some concrete, formal rules for the forum.

1. Correct.
2. Incorrect, and here is why...

The points that are looking pretty shaky are:

1. The idea that if I understand Language X, it’s fine to use it (but if someone else understands Language Y, they should get the same treatment).
2. The notion that this forum is a private playground where we can do whatever we want (just because everything in the US is private doesn't mean people are exempt from following the law).

It might be about time we started drafting some actual concrete rules for the forum.

1. This just doesn't track, because we aren't debating whether Flemish is allowed while Urdu is banned. Language X—in this case, Mexican—is understood by every single person on this forum, from start to finish. If anyone claims they don't understand it, let's be blunt... they're lying. That makes it incomparable to those languages that "someone out there" happens to understand. Everyone understands "some" language. It's nonsense to compare a language that every American here fully grasps with the fact that there might be one random user who understands Mongolian.
Your argument actually carries much more weight when you're talking about English, since there are certainly plenty of users here who don't speak it fluently.

2. Forum.hr isn't breaking any laws by allowing other languages, and a few people have already tried to explain that to you. You seem to have fundamentally misunderstood what "official language" actually means.
Besides, regardless of that, even in the United States, we have public media outlets that publish or broadcast in other languages—like minority newspapers or news segments in English or German—and they aren't breaking any laws either...

My apologies to the Navy for all this nonsense on their thread, you guys were actually great back in Karlovac, or whatever... I guess I’ll say it just so we don't drift too far off topic...
and since I'm already here, those graffiti pieces of yours are pretty killer too.

Ryan Ramos98 said:What exactly were you hoping they’d do? Turn into cripples? When 60 or 70 of them roll into your city, what do you expect—that they’ll just charge at 12 Gademze members (a group that has never once had a fan clash) and get slapped with thirty bans? And for what? So you can go on some online forum and brag that they pushed Gademze around in their own backyard? You should be happy with how things went, because if you actually try to gather a crowd and pick a fight in your own town next time, we'll see how that works out for you...
P.S. Given your group's reputation and overall image, you're really only qualified to comment on the White Angels or whatever else...

Please don't bother replying; your previous posts have already made your stance pretty clear.

1. "gademz," seriously, please just stop posting on the internet altogether

2. The Navy wasn't just "wandering the streets"; those 60 or 70 people were escorted by police from the station all the way through town

3. Nobody attacked anyone, but during that standoff near the cafe, nobody from Gademze ran away either, even though there were only about ten of us there; we just met them head-on. It wasn't exactly heroism, but it wasn't cowardice either.

4. "gademz," honestly, just stay off the internet forever

5. You're doing the same thing, Ryan Ramos98, latching onto one crazy comment and dragging the whole group down with it. It's not that we greet guests with stones and knives—what else would you want? My lack of desire to crack the skull of a man from San Francisco, a man from Zadar, or a man from Vinkovci visiting our territory might stem from reasons other than lacking guts...

6. We aren't going to measure up against the bbb or Torcid, and we never will, just like most other groups. Not even against the Navy when they show up in numbers like they did this year. There were fewer of them than us last time and they were a mess, yet nobody attacked them then, either.

7. The only group that actually acted up and caused trouble in town was the one that got jumped and chased off (and it doesn't matter which group it was, since the internet should probably be banned anyway... and yeah, if the Boys or Torcid had been the ones acting out, nothing would have happened to them, and I'm not ashamed to say it—that's just how it works in most cities when people decide to cause chaos)

8. "gademz," just quit the internet already

9. "gademz," please, just stop writing online
Scorpion Night: Goodridge vs. Overeem in Karlovac in Martial Arts & Combat Sports ·
Sorry if this topic already exists somewhere else...
So, back on February 13th in Los Angeles at the Lakers arena, there was one of those major Ultimate Fighting Championship events that America rarely gets to see...
You had Gary Goodridge, Robert Sarkozy, Valentijn Overeem (with Alistair just watching from the crowd 😉), plus the European title fight between Srbin Radosavljević and Mađar Vegh, along with a ton of American fighters... basically...

Living with one kidney in Health ·
Basically, looking strictly at kidney function, if your kidneys are perfectly healthy and doing their job , you can eat pretty much whatever you want. That’s likely why you haven't been handed some strict dietary roadmap just yet.

By "whatever," I obviously mean a standard, reasonably nutritious diet, not just hitting the drive-thru at McDonald's every night and living off the processed junk that seems to be everyone's default setting these days 😉

And again, I'm emphasizing this is specifically regarding kidney health—assuming everything there is functioning properly... the tumor is really just a wake-up call that it might be time to actually start, or at least stick to, a decent way of eating.

I wasn't talking about those stands, and honestly, who gives a damn about them anyway. Let them come to our section next time and scream for ninety minutes straight while we just sit back, relax, and talk trash about everyone else. I couldn't care less about people like that. Sure, there was some car revving going on outside, but that’s hardly worth getting into an argument over, it doesn't really matter...

The cops make the rules. Maybe we're still actually at the stadium and this whole thing is just one big hallucination 😁
The Armada in Fans ·
People were complaining about issues even outside the stadium, you sitting up there in the main stands... but honestly, it doesn't even matter...
The Armada in Fans ·
That whole choreography mocking the Kansas City Chiefs was pretty top-tier, honestly... looked even better from a distance than it does in this photo. From a purely competitive standpoint, we should feel honored to have grinded our way up to facing a club that clearly requires this much effort 😁

The cheering was solid enough.

I don't really get the "clashes." We didn't face a single stone or any actual attempt at confrontation despite all the mutual "respect," just a few random attacks on civilians from the West Stand or whatever they call that section over at Santa Monica.
Fortaleza—everything would be fine if we weren't talking about water polo. In any other sport, these would be world-class results, I mean, we make the semifinals all the time... 😁but in a sport taken seriously by maybe five or six countries, where we definitely belong in the Top 3 by reputation, it’s a complete disaster. Look at it this way: in a sport played at a high level in just 5-6 nations, where we consider ourselves one of the elite, we’ve only picked up five medals across twenty-seven competitions. That’s terrible. Not just "not great," but truly awful. Or look at it from another angle: in a sport where only 5-6 countries really compete, we failed to even crack the top three in twenty-two out of those twenty-seven events...

Swimming—well, even if Draganja swims something decent... it would be nice to see him grab a medal, though the odds are stacked against him...
As for the world records, it's almost laughable; looking at other news outlets, they don't even bother mentioning them anymore, it seems only Mica still gets excited about it. Even L'Equipe doesn't mention them in their coverage, they just list the winners and move on...
And that's really it, you just have to enjoy swimming without obsessing over the scoreboard, because tomorrow Cavic and Phelps will go head-to-head, it should be a hell of a race and I'm curious to see who comes out on top. But I won't even check the result, because honestly, it's both ridiculous and pathetic at the same time. I just hope FINA sticks to their ban on those suits and somehow manages to nullify every single world record from this era...
Unfortunately, that’s just how it went down. The whole Melbourne situation was a perfect storm—we ended up facing the Canadians in the final when absolutely nobody thought we stood a chance, and everything just fell into place, one of those rare moments in 27 tournaments...😁

So, for one, I don't see us having any shot at beating the Americans—mostly because they're terrified of finishing fourth now, which is both ridiculous and depressing at the same time... and secondly, I have to admit this is a massive game, because winning would finally shake off one of those deep-seated complexes once and for all, which might actually matter in the long run...

Honestly, my gut feeling was that we’d beat the Mexicans and then just lose the final regardless of who was standing there... we probably would have taken them, too, if it hadn't been for those Mediterranean Games where everyone sent their junior squads, except for the Mexicans and us, who sent our best rosters, effectively ruining our 3-0 streak and feeding into that inferiority complex we had toward them... they basically crushed us in an exhibition tournament, and everything shifted after that. It turns out our guys don't need much to start playing with fear, while the Mexicans realized they could absolutely dismantle us.
Yeah, that statement from Carter pretty much sums it up perfectly. It’s just pure loser mentality. Unbelievable...

Besides, we kicked things off today with a 2:0 lead, and while any sane team would have been pumped, our guys just completely froze up from fear...

I mean, a 2:0 lead in the 3rd minute isn't exactly an insurmountable mountain, obviously... but the Mexicans turned it around to 5:3 "in a heartbeat"... which really means they went 5:1 against us in what felt like a split second, right after such a great start.
but looking at those 1-23 provides a perfect window into why this team is such a bunch of losers, mostly because of that massive psychological hang-up during the deciding games.
which is just pathetic.
The national water polo team basically suffers from an inferiority complex whenever they face the rest of the world.
It’s the same group of guys who absolutely dominate their club teams, yet when the stakes are highest for the national squad, they always, always find a way to screw it up.

especially when you actually look at how they lose...

In the early rounds, we were getting knocked out by Romanians (the one time Romania actually made a semifinal was by beating us), then losing 6:10 to an Australian side... or finishing second-to-last in six-team groups, only picking up wins against Kazakhstan and Canada... or getting knocked out because we'd let in a goal from fifteen meters out in the final second (like back in Phoenix, during the Yugoslavia era)... or that Sydney Olympics, where we managed a 4:4 draw with the Yugoslavs only to blow a man-advantage situation with two more players on the field!

We even handed over bronze medals, essentially gifting the only medal in history to Greece, the only recent medal to Germany, and the last one to the Russians... we lost multiple times—and I don't even need to say it, but we never actually won—in overtime....

Sure, making the final is an achievement... but even in those finals, out of four appearances, we choked three times simply because we got intimidated by our own shadows. In Atlanta back in '96, we crushed much stronger Italian and Yugoslav teams, only to collapse quite weakly in the final against the Spaniards.... we lost to the Canadians in Florence after starting the game with a 3:0 lead.... and we lost to the Mexicans in Knoxville after leading 7:4 in the final quarter....

so, really, the specific way they lose is part of the whole tragic story.
but when you actually look at things from your perspective...

so, we're talking about a niche sport with incredibly thin depth... a sport where we supposedly act like some kind of global powerhouse...

out of 25 competitions, we didn't even get a shot at a medal in 12 of them.

as for the other 13, our actual record in semifinals and medal matches sits at 6-19, assuming we even pull this bronze...

breaking it down: semifinals are 5-8, finals are 1-4, and for the bronze, it's 0-7, though Rome is still pending...

there you have it: 12 events where there was zero fight for a medal, 2 where we didn't even show up, and a dismal 6-19 run through semifinals and medal rounds in the rest—it’s truly the most beautiful way possible to view the statistics 🙂
Look, I already made it clear we’re only talking about the most critical games here, because obviously, beating someone once in a while 😁

if we’re being pedantic, you could argue those bronze finishes aren't actually 0-7, but more like 0-14, since they lost twice in the medal rounds during the tournament... but I stuck with 0-7 because we were looking specifically at the final decisive game of the competition...
