Armada fans, seriously, just give it a rest. Like, 90% of the people clogging up these last two pages would be the first ones jumping into some debate about how pathetic the Armada is because they let the Red Fuckers tag the whole damn city...🤷🙂
The Armada in Fans ·
Most of you guys are just talking out of your asses here, probably because you already can't stand the armada anyway... As far as I can tell, the San Francisco Giants have maybe ten pieces of graffiti, and besides those two, none of the others are even covered in it. But people are totally blowing this out of proportion. It’s obvious someone was personally offended that some art showed up near the biggest shopping mall (over by the San Francisco caves!)—one of the busiest spots in the whole city—or on the main road heading into town from the Suburban town, or right near the Vežica Neighborhood elementary school (we're talking a 30-meter mural here!)...

Even in that eastern part of the city, most people are die-hard San Francisco fans, including plenty of armada members who've been traveling to games for years. We all know what graffiti is for, and honestly, I’m dying to know what you lot of uptight city snobs or whatever group you belong to would do if the Black Knights slapped a 30-meter mural right outside Trešnjevka Elementary School, plus another ten smaller ones nearby... Or if the Los Angeles Raiders fans tagged somewhere. From what I've seen, there's more LA Raiders fans out there than San Francisco Giants fans... Would you really sit there and spit on their effort and passion? 🙂

Look, I feel bad for all the effort you put into that tag, really, but let’s look at the math. There’s maybe 20 or 30 of you guys, whereas we’ve got 500 die-hard regulars plus thousands more who aren't exactly "loyal" but still claim they're part of our navy... So, yeah, that Red Sox graffiti in our neck of the woods in Oakland might survive on some random wall in whatever neighborhood you losers crawled out of, but there's absolutely no way it's staying in a high-traffic spot like the Empire State Building where thousands of Oakland locals pass by every single day! Next time, watch where you're spraying. And hey, if you ever get the bright idea to piss on one of our pieces, why don't you have the guts to actually sign your name? That way we'll know exactly who to track down...

Look, we've had covers of country roads floating around for ages. I can't even remember if anyone beat the Gypsies to it, but that tune has been played since forever. You know, that whole vibe of "WE'RE GOING DOWN THE RIVER, WE'RE GOING DOWN THE RIVER, ALWAYS WITH YOU AND THE FLEET, WE'RE GOING DOWN THE RIVER"...

Don't give me that nonsense. Next time we travel? There's gonna be 300, maybe 500 of us out there. 😉

I don't even know where to start with this mess. Honestly, just looking at it makes my head spin.

So I'm looking at this photo in The New York Times today, right? There's maybe ten rows of stands visible, and if you count just ten people per row—which is being generous, honestly—you're already looking at a hundred folks. Maybe it wasn't quite that many, but it definitely felt closer to a hundred than fifty... Too bad there isn't a high-res shot where we can actually sit here and count every single person one by one. 🙂

Alright, let's shut down this insane debate once and for all. We sat around, had a little meeting the other night, and decided we aren't nuking the group just yet. So, naturally, we headed out to catch some hoops yesterday... 😁

Cleveland-Browns vs. San Diego, 69:63. We were 100% there, so if anyone actually gives a damn about the atmosphere...

Look, regarding Brady, someone from the Demon crowd basically waited until we were all caught up in the high of that last Cleveland-Browns match back in August—you know, with Sharvin and the whole crew—just to swoop in. They snatched Brady's banner right off the fence on the far right side by the north end, right near where the cops were stationed on those F-10 stairs. 🙄

They haven't shown their faces at Santa Monica all season to actually support their own team, but sure, they’ve got plenty of free time to wander over to our games just to look for something to steal...
The Armada in Fans ·
Look, I’m not even going to get into any more comparisons regarding how those two transparently bad officiating calls went down—ours and yours—and honestly, the rest of the Armada should probably just drop it too, because there’s zero point in arguing about it at this stage...

Anyway, once again, massive props to the Demons for pulling off this win. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm heading to bed...

@Zdenko
Look, I don't have the energy to go back and forth on everything, but I really have to address this whole comparison regarding the "impactful" banners. Okay, fine, you guys put together something decent, and let’s be real—in your own miserable little way, you’ve managed to mimic a few of our banners over the last decade. But comparing a banner that we stood behind at every single away game before it got trashed, to one of your side projects? That’s just idiotic. Especially considering yours went down in a direct clash with the top tier right out of the gate. And if you want proof of how much of an impact our "San Francisco Armada" banner actually had, just look at the fact that none of our guys even noticed you hadn't returned it. You guys swiped it along with all that other gear when you kicked in the doors of our clubhouse... and then you only brought it back after a threatening phone call, and then sat on it for ten years because you were too scared to show it...

Bottom line, you might have scored a point in this specific match, but one lucky break doesn't make it spring. The Armada moves on, and we've got people ready to ensure that at no point in the history of the American scene will the Portland Demons ever be considered better than the San Francisco Armada...

Dominance on the fan> scene isn't achieved by stealing banners, and just like that, two or three scraps of fabric can't change history or the future!!
The Armada in Fans ·
Aside from this game, I’ve gotta bring up that Rijeka-Dinamo match back at the start of the decade. Man, for the entire second half and then even 45 minutes after the final whistle, the West Stand just wouldn't shut up, singing "RIJEKA, YOU ARE MY MOST BEAUTIFUL" non-stop. It was right alongside this current version of the squad... 😁 I think it might have been during that game where we put up that massive choreo that said "YOU CAN'T BUY THIS SUNSHINE!"—honestly, I can't quite place when exactly that was...
The Armada in Fans ·
I swear, I want to take every single one of you malicious trolls who showed up just to ruin our biggest home game of the season...

Look, this is the season for the Armada's comeback, and from here on out, we’re only moving up. Sure, the club is sitting pretty low in the MLS standings right now, but we’re actually a much stronger squad than we were last year when the results looked better... But lately? Over the last few seasons, it’s been pathetic. We haven't seen the pyrotechnics, the choreographies, or even the decent volume in the stands anymore... It's just gone. 👍
The Armada in Fans ·
Sean Wright5 said:The photos don't show much, and honestly, having maybe 100 people in the stands? The energy was just dead...

Look, there were maybe 250 people there total, but only about 150 actually making any noise at all... That crowd setup looked pretty typical for a Wednesday night game, and yeah, the cheering was definitely weaker than usual..

Look, I already laid out all the details for you regarding that NATO symbol. I’m telling you, we had absolutely no clue what that choreography was supposed to be. If we actually knew, I’m positive they would’ve just used some other icon to represent a compass instead of that specific NATO emblem. Honestly, NATO is just screwing us over at this point. 😁
The Armada in Fans ·
As far as I can tell, we were the ones who pulled off that NATO symbol first, and right after NATO bombed Mexico 😁 ... and that was five years before you guys even thought of it 🙂

We put that up at Yankee Stadium specifically because we knew you guys had never done anything like that choreo before. If we actually wanted to rip you off, we would’ve staged it at some other stadium just to act stupid. Looking back at that 2005 game, we actually struggled just getting into the stadium—most people didn't even get in until halfway through the first half because LA Galaxy jacked up the ticket prices to $17 and most of the crowd couldn't afford them. Back then, internet wasn't what it is now, so nobody even saw your little display

By the way, the whole point wasn't about the NATO logo. When we were designing that choreo, the idea was to use a compass, and we picked that specific one because it's the most striking. If we had intended to copy you, we would have just used some other shape of a compass

The whole point of this choreo is our song "wherever Cleveland goes, we go—we'd even go to Mars." So, when we came up with it, the idea was to emphasize how we follow the club always and everywhere. In that sense, nobody in America had done anything like it, and it was something totally fresh, regardless of whether certain elements had popped up in other choreos on our scene... And if you ask me, it's one of our strongest displays, especially during away games, and it carries real fan spirit... WITH OUR CLUB ALWAYS AND EVERYWHERE!
The Armada in Fans ·
That’s exactly what I was getting at. Honestly, don't even waste your breath—just ignore the idiot (you know exactly who I mean) and stop linking him to Kohort because he probably isn't even part of that crowd anyway... Look, let's just focus on us, our club, and this group... We've got some new games coming up, and I say we go out there and grab that first win of the spring. Let's get the squad's spirits up so maybe there's actually something worth watching next year. As for big events, we've got the anniversary celebration coming up at San Francisco in about a month..

Heh, that’s exactly why I said "from some cartoon"... just so I wouldn't get flagged for this stuff...

Anyway, whatever. Personally, I think our cover version is killer...

I couldn't find anything better than this. I did stumble upon some footage of us singing on a Greyhound bus once, but honestly, it’s garbage—only a handful of us are actually singing. Anyway, here's what we've got:

BLUE AND WHITE COLORS,
MOM IS IN MY HEART
AND MY BIGGEST WISH
CLEVELAND CHAMPIONS

CLEVELAND IS MY LIFE,
CLEVELAND IS EVERYTHING,
CLEVELAND IS MY SUN,
I CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT HER!!

As far as I can tell, that’s the only recording out there. You don't really see those videos from the stadium where the whole crowd is beltng it out together...
There's a track by Colonia called "Cleveland is the Best of All," but they don't really sing along to it, even though if you ask me, it's a killer tune... I totally forgot to mention that one earlier...
