I can't stand when facts and rules get ignored. Character contradictions really bug me, and I just can't relate them to real life.
Not even close. Real life isn't Cicely, and a place like that doesn't exist anywhere. It would be lovely if it did, though; I'd move there in a heartbeat.
Well, obviously there's nothing new in a show you've already seen! 😁 There aren't many movies or series you can binge three times over. I'm actually watching it for the third time right now after a long break, and I'm loving it. I love Friends and Seinfeld too, but it'll take me a while before I feel like revisiting them. If a show was good the first time, then it's a good show. Just because it doesn't hit the same way again doesn't mean anything at all. A joke rarely lands twice! 🙂
When it comes to movies and shows, the last thing I expect is total realism. Actually, I want them to veer away from reality as much as possible to give the creators the freedom to actually tell a story. So, I don't have any complaints about that. It's an imaginary world—fiction! Sometimes I'm in the mood for fiction, and other times I want to watch documentaries to see how the world actually works since I can't see it from my armchair.
I love the world they built and the characters they created, and I'm not going to nitpick every little imperfection.
