Are men more spiritual than women?

When a woman neglects herself, it's usually because she's poured everything into serving others or looking after her family. It's different for men—if a man decides to serve, he tends to dive headfirst into spirituality and just tosses everything else aside.
That seems to be another big divide between the genders to me. A woman is capable of learning from her own mistakes through that act of service, growing and gaining wisdom along the way. But I'm not so sure a man can achieve the same thing—actually, I'm pretty convinced he can't, because men just don't have that specific kind of potential women possess. And I'm talking strictly about the potential for practical spirituality here, not just sitting around theorizing about it.
And hey, if I said your ego could handle it, I wasn't planning on belittling you... I'm not exactly a spiritual heavyweight myself—I am a man, after all. 🙂
What I'm actually getting at is that women have a higher potential for spirituality, though maybe not in terms of raw ability, but in how they actually develop it.
But one thing isn't clear to me—based on what you wrote, women start with an advantage and are basically hardwired to achieve more spiritually... that’s a pretty bold claim, lady.
So, what's the rulebook say? What actually makes that potential "greater"? I really hope we aren't going to drag religion into this, okay? 🙂
Anyway, since we're talking about real-world applications here, I'd love to hear some actual examples of those differences you mentioned.

I think the idea is that they're trying to realize their spirituality through comfort and security—using them as a destination on their path. 🙂
