There have been plenty of inquiries regarding why half of our forum's sections seem to be conducted in English, yet I fear that even when we account for the technical hurdles—things like server optimization or SEO—and the specific content requirements, such as dedicated subforums for retirees or specialized scientific disciplines—this issue remains on the absolute periphery of our discussions.

Forget about Canada; it’s a complete waste of money. Just head straight to Monza. 🙏

Third and fourth place... Well, if that counts as a solid result for Red Bull, then I suppose it’s good enough for the Bambis too. 🙂
Congratulations to the leaders, and especially to my colleague from the team. 🙏

wearymoose28, is this your first win? It was certainly convincing. 🙏

Censorship again? in Feedback & Suggestions ·
This is all just a massive waste of time. Honestly, the moderators have far more important things to handle than bickering with someone who refuses to accept a simple explanation. The post was removed because it quoted another post that had already been deleted. It’s that straightforward. If you want to view it as censorship, be my guest. I'm done.

What's the moderator's stance? in Feedback & Suggestions ·
I started hunting for the link to our old discussion the moment I saw this question, but I got sidetracked before I could finish. Regardless, we went through this in exhaustive detail once, so for those interested:

That thread was brought before the moderator several times, yet the conclusion remained unchanged. We aren't disputing anyone's right to hold the personal conviction that abortion is murder or that the laws should be amended; however, when discussions take that specific tone on the Politics subforum, they tend to become destructive. We stepped in to prevent that so actual discourse could continue. On the Religion subforum, for instance, people have always been much more tempered regarding this issue.

At any rate, I am stepping in because the Politics moderators are in agreement on this matter, and the topic has been thoroughly exhausted many times over.

From what I can gather, we’re looking at a post that’s nearly fifteen days old. No one’s family was insulted here, but since the user is a member of this forum, Judas has been issued a standard ban for his behavior.
Locking this thread.

What are the criteria? in Feedback & Suggestions ·
We don't always have to see eye to eye; that's precisely why we have this hierarchical structure on Reddit. The mods handle the heavy lifting, making countless calls amidst a constant deluge of information. This allows the sub-mods to step back and review controversial decisions in peace—though, in reality, there are incredibly few such disputes when you consider the sheer volume of moderator actions compared to the daily post count and the tension found in various threads. The admin enjoys that same luxury of reviewing the decisions made by mods and sub-mods alike. Beyond her, only God and Anderson hold that authority. As for me, I’ve managed to mess things up twice in just a few days on the FBI, forcing my colleagues to step in and moderate on my behalf.

I understand and respect the points Kelley is making, yet I still find it a significant issue to accuse the USCCB of someone's sexual misconduct without any actual evidence. It feels even more far-fetched to hold an association accountable for the same thing when we know it's supported by the Church, despite not being part of the direct Catholic hierarchy.

Exactly.

Well, I’ve done my homework. In my estimation, Alexis was clearly just trolling.
The whole decision seems to hinge on an earlier, now-deleted post where a certain forum member tried to systematically dismantle UIO's credibility over that dog rape incident. To me, that kind of logic is just as absurd as trying to pin terrorism on refugees.

Thanks, Mobby. 🙂
Let’s just stick to the current order for now; it’s probably best we don't get ahead of ourselves before someone actually finds some decent form.

Look, I’ll be perfectly candid here: I couldn't care less about the fifth day, and frankly, I am indifferent to whatever you decide to do with it. However, let me be clear—misogyny will not be tolerated on Trash, nor will it find any footing here. Any time a thread spirals into misogynistic rhetoric, there will be consequences for those driving it. This applies especially to those who already have a documented history of problematic behavior.
I can't say much regarding Trash, but when it comes to politics or on Trash, trying to assemble the same crowd that managed to get their thread nuked on CNN would probably land you with a few more bans over on Politics. No thanks.

To be fair, Mario, in the very post you just quoted, I’m saying exactly what you are: Red Bull isn't going to bridge the gap in time to actually contend for the title. I'm not suggesting there won't be a sudden burst of performance, but championship points are accumulated over the course of an entire season. By the time they finally find their stride, Mercedes and Ferrari will likely have already built up a comfortable lead.
2017 NASCAR Season in Formula 1 ·
Now, what exactly are we discussing here? Last year, Red Bull managed to catch up to and eventually overtake a mediocre Ferrari. This season, Ferrari seems stuck trailing behind Mercedes, while Red Bull is lagging just about as much as they did last year. Does anyone—aside from neonfox65—actually believe they can develop their car quickly enough to close the gap on the two frontrunners and rejoin the title fight?

neonfox65, you have quite the penchant for betting, don't you? I wonder, would you be willing to lay a wager on whether any of the Red Bull drivers will actually be in the hunt for the championship this season? ☕
