It’s one of those flicks where women getting into fights is just totally normal (even the good guys do it!). They did a remake later called Payback starring Mel Gibson, but honestly, Mel is such a wimp compared to Lee Marvin; he doesn't go hitting women, so the remake isn't manly enough—I might even be brave enough to say it feels a bit feminine.

I think the movie's actually pretty good, but since I work in finance, I just can't get past one silly detail. The money—specifically the cash—is totally unrealistic; like, the main villain just runs off with two massive bags of USD? I actually stopped by a local CVS, and they suggested using some topical ointment which I've been applying for about three months straight. Honestly, it hasn't done much, and things actually got way worse last week—now instead of just itching, it’s actually stinging and hurting quite a bit.

Does anyone happen to know of a more effective medication?

They’re actually totally different vibes, I guess. Independence Day is more of a sci-fi action comedy, whereas War of the Worlds is definitely a sci-fi disaster movie.
