I feel like we should totally add Signs to the poll. That movie hit me way harder! I mean, War of the Worlds is awesome, but this one felt more intense to me, and I think Mel Gibson did such a better job playing that dad trying to protect his family.
To me, it feels much closer to War of the Worlds than Independence Day.
Anyway, Independence Day is complete 👎
I keep having this dream where I'm running late for school.
So, I hop in my car and it just won't start.
I check the gas tank (which is right by the ash tray) and realize my dad filled it with tea instead of gas!
Well, no wonder it won't crank, I guess! 😁
I guess nature didn't really design us to live in total safety.
Just look at animals out in the wild—that level of stress is intense, right?
When you're always safe, maybe the consequences of stress just catch up to you later since there's no immediate fight involved.
Safety feels kind of unnatural to me!
