Formula 1 umbrellas 🙏, they’re big enough to hide the entire Smith family under.
Why not just push the race back to tomorrow if the weather is going to be better?
The weather is just terrible right now; there's absolutely no way anyone is getting out on the track in this.
I honestly don't think this race is going to make it to the finish line. The conditions are just terrible right now; we’re looking at constant pit stops, crashes, and plenty of SC-s. I have my doubts we'll even see the final lap.
In my opinion, these aren't the kind of conditions you should be racing in. They really ought to call the race and, I don't know, just follow the rulebook.
swiftmaker12, if you're reading this, give me some inside info on how the track conditions are looking. 🙂

Honestly, Russell could probably handle that himself. 😁

swiftmaker12, thanks for sharing those photos! 🙏
Huge congrats to Russell. That was an incredible lap.
Kudos to Ricciardo too, even if he’s still a long way from the podium.
Max put in a solid stint, but if the rain hits, someone is going to snatch it from him at Turn 1 on a slick track. To make it through that first corner unscathed, he’s going to need a perfect start. Honestly, I wouldn't bank entirely on Russell either; he tends to dance right on the edge between a masterclass and a total disaster.

What's your problem with men's butts? You've got one too.
I’m expecting big things from Mercedes-Benz, especially after seeing how much pace they had at the Circuit of the Americas. They seemed to really find their rhythm whenever the track opened up a bit.
I'm actually hoping for some rain, by the way. 😁

When it comes to those heavy hitters with massive IMDb ratings, I'm thinking of:
The Godfather trilogy
Pulp Fiction Interstellar Psycho
Interstellar
Psycho...

Honestly, I don't see myself getting around to watching them anytime soon.

It feels like Mercedes has this endless streak of good fortune. It all kicked off when Max had that tire blowout in the US. Then Goodyear brought out new compounds that seem perfectly tuned for the Mercedes-Benz. It’s almost eerie. Since those tires showed up at the World Championship, Max has been complaining about a total lack of grip. 🙂

Max doesn't stand a chance at winning the title this year. Everything has shifted toward Lewis Hamilton.

Winning a championship requires more than just skill; you need a bit of luck to align perfectly. Lewis had a dominant car for years, and even now, when the competition is actually close, everything still seems to tilt his way.

Chasing after Esteban Ocon really cost him there. If he’d managed to overtake him during one of those segments, things would have looked a lot different. Such a shame...

Valtteri Bottas was handed a five-place grid penalty after forcing three cars off the track. 😬

Fernando Alonso is defending himself exactly the way he always has since his return to driving for McLaren Racing and the Alpine F1 Team. He pushes right up against the limit of what's allowed, often leaving you with no choice but to either lift off the throttle or risk making contact.

Fernando Alonso helped Esteban Ocon take the win.

He won't, unless Esteban Ocon makes a mistake.
To overtake on the opening straight, he’d need to dive in within 0.5 seconds max. Anything more than that, and he might have a shot in the second DRS zone, but even then, it's a massive stretch.

analogpilot16 said:I just don't see the point in racing on tracks where overtaking is impossible. You eventually need some contact, because everything feels forced.

True, but the US Grand Prix at least offers a bit of an opening.

Just imagine if the championship decider happens to be on a track where passing is nearly impossible. You're desperate for points, and you're forced to risk a collision just to get ahead of someone.

Lewis is going to cruise through this one.

Just look at the competition sitting ahead of him. There's no Valtteri Bottas, Sergio Perez, Charles Leclerc, or Lando Norris in his way.

Dragging it out until the very end 🙏🙏

I bet if the roles were reversed between Max and Lewis, Max fans would be screaming about it too.

Fix what? They haven't even fixed half of it. Besides, his car is supposedly "fixed," yet it’s sitting there idling, just waiting for the restart.
