Having trouble uploading images? in IT Support ·
The image dimensions are identical to all the others I’ve posted earlier; these are just shots taken on my iPhone...
Regarding the virus concerns, I'm honestly skeptical that's the culprit here. Based on some research I did online, it seems more likely that I'm just dealing with a full storage drive.

Hey, thanks for the help. I just tried using Internet Explorer and the upload actually works there, but it fails on every other browser...
It would be much better if it worked in something else, because man, IE is painfully slow. I never use it.
Also, instead of getting that -200 error, sometimes I get a message saying: An image was only partially uploaded.

I'm running macOS 7, and I make sure to install every update the system prompts me to.
This issue just started popping up today.
Having trouble uploading images? in IT Support ·
Hey everyone.
I'm running into some trouble uploading images, whether I'm using image hosting sites or just trying to send them via email.
When I attempt an upload through a hosting service, I keep getting this notification: Error: -200, Message: HTTP Error.
And when I try through my email, it simply tells me the attachment failed to send.

I've been scouring the web for a fix, but I can't seem to find anything that addresses this specific issue... any ideas?

Does the Constitution specify that secession is only permitted on national grounds?
California Discussion Thread - All in one place in European Union ·
What really worries me about the California process is the potential domino effect. If this gains momentum, other wealthy regions in different countries might start demanding their own independence too.
Why wouldn't somewhere like North Rhine in Germany follow suit?
Or even Lombardy in Italy?

In California, there’s a strong sense of regional identity driving this, which is the main factor. But regardless of that, the prospect of massive financial gain if they actually break away is enough to make anyone's eyes light up.
Do you truly accept yourself? in Psychology & Therapy ·
I accept it. I wouldn't be standing here today if things had gone any other way.
I embrace my flaws too, and I'm fully aware of them. But there are certain traits—like my stubbornness and my pride—that I have no intention of changing. They are part of my DNA, regardless of how much people might complain about them.
It’s more than just self-acceptance, though. To be honest, I have a bit of an ego about it all. Growing up in a very traditional, conservative household, I still managed to break away and carve out my own path in life.😁
Wild Tales: The Omnibus Collection in Movies ·
I honestly can't stop thinking about that movie. 😁
The first episode leans just a little too much toward the trashy side, but that didn't kill my interest at all.
I'm actually seriously considering heading to the local AMC to catch it on the big screen.

Bold topics and a bold approach.
Truly original and powerful.

I actually watched it today. I had uninstalled it about a month ago and completely forgot about it, but I stumbled upon this thread yesterday and decided to give it a watch today. 🙂

The movie is excellent—a real breath of fresh air. Every episode tells its own story, deeply tied to specific characters.
I think you could break the film down into six main character arcs:
The Pilot—a guy dealing with deep insecurities who decides to finally settle the score with everyone who ever looked down on him.
Food Poisoning—it explores the duality and whether certain punishments are truly justified. We see a clash of two philosophies here: a young woman who would try to resolve things through dialogue (likely involving some heated arguments), versus an old-school cook raised on traditional values who prefers to cut the problem out at the root.
The Maniac in the Aut—a depiction of a "normal" person who suddenly snaps (honestly, I think many people would act the same way, even if it seems strange to us) and goes on a rampage. The confrontation between them was phenomenal. 🙂
The Bomber—a man determined to take a stand against a corrupt system; the end of his arc offers a positive critique of how he chooses to confront that system.
The Aut accident—this was my personal favorite. It gets to the core of how far someone will go to protect or restore their reputation. It also highlights a cynical truth: in situations like this, teamwork is mostly an illusion. Everyone is ultimately looking out for themselves—like the lawyer and the gardener both trying to squeeze every last cent out of a wealthy client.
The Wedding—this part reminded me of the movie *Mountain Impossible* (if anyone remembers that one). As the plot progressed toward the end, tension just kept building and building. The ending is unusual, but brilliant nonetheless. 🙂 It feels almost like a catharsis, a cleansing for the newlyweds.

The film feels quite realistic overall. My only critique is that I’d call the pilot "over the top," though that might just be my interpretation, as the character itself felt very grounded.

Is it purely genetics or the environment...?

It’s a mix of both.
When looking at genetics, you have genes like MAOA or CDH 13. The first one regulates serotonin and dopamine levels in the brain, while the second is linked to impulsivity.
I haven't found a definitive answer yet on whether having this specific combination always results in a "bad" person...
What I am curious about is why one person with both genes might commit a violent felony, while someone else with the exact same genetic makeup stays perfectly fine.
It seems likely that the environment plays a huge role here. Growing up in a supportive home could potentially suppress those genetic tendencies and minimize their impact.
For instance, it's possible that Adam Lanza carried both of those genes, but I also read he grew up in a very isolated, dysfunctional family.

I remember seeing a discussion on na rub znanost where a young researcher explained how the prefrontal cortex comes into play. They conducted studies where participants were shown violent imagery, and some individuals showed almost zero activity in certain parts of the prefrontal cortex—almost as if that section of the brain was essentially dormant.
And I'm sitting here missing the game too, honestly. 😳

When did he ever get under our skin?😁
He’s just like Lazarov—for every one shot he actually makes, he misses three.
I think I misread the forecast regarding the Braziljos crew.
I’ll admit, going with +10 was a bit much, so this time I’m predicting something more moderate—not just a trickle, but a steady +6 to 8.

Yeah, I shut it down. It would kick on for a second, then stall for a minute, just repeating the same cycle. Honestly, whatever. 🤷
But from the brief glimpse I got at the start while things were still running smoothly, he looked weak. It really all comes down to his left hand. He landed one decent uppercut, but that was pretty much the extent of it.
What's your "why"? in Psychology ·
I don't think many people actually view it that way. In fact, it’s often quite the opposite. Most people who reach that point have already stood right on that razor's edge between life and death. They realize just how thin that line truly is, and they feel like they can finally escape the "suffering" by crossing it. It’s heartbreaking, really, because even though suicide is such a devastatingly final act, they see it as a form of salvation. To them, that relief feels incredibly close at hand.

To be honest, when I first started this thread, I wasn't looking for a lecture on how to go out and find my own purpose in life. I was actually more interested in hearing what drives everyone else. If we could just keep the conversation focused on that—what keeps *you* going—that would be great.👍

Since we’re already here, we might as well soak up everything this world has to offer. Everything has its own story, usually carried by the people who lived through it. That’s really what drives me. I want to meet as many people as possible and experience as many of those unique chapters as I can.
That’s good to know.

Let me clarify what I mean. Every month, I pick up a copy of National Geographic. For me, it’s not just about the photography; it’s about reading about the lives and destinies of people from all walks of life. There’s something deeply moving about it. In those moments, I feel truly alive and engaged, almost as if they are sharing their own life stories directly with me. I think I connect with it because I see myself in that role, too—eventually, I want to be the one out there telling my own story.

Some people might find it strange, but for me, this is a vital part of my life.

But Felipe Massa is definitely giving Zalons a hard time. 👍
And honestly, the internet isn't being kind to him either. 🤣

Personally, I’d put Button in a Williams seat... I think he’d provide much more consistency than Felipinjo, which would give them a better shot at taking second in the Constructors' Championship.

McLaren will only make the move if the money is right. Honestly, I think he knows deep down that switching to them next year means his title hopes are pretty much dead in the water...
And he’s not exactly some rookie who can just brush it off and say, "hey, this is all just practice for 2016."

Williams' Felipe Massa says: "WE need to understand What Has happened with Jules. I'm very worried. I heard that he hit the truck at the end of the race.
"I was already screaming on the radio five laps before the safety car that there was too much water on the track, but they took a bit too long and it was dangerous. So we saw that there were some crashes at the end."

And man, Massa also mentioned wanting to delay the start, even though every other driver was getting on the radio saying it was time to pull the SC off the track... I mean, Button went straight for intermediates right after the start, so he clearly wasn't making a mistake by switching tires if the conditions weren't right for them.
