This concept trailer—or whatever you want to call it—is decent, but honestly, I wouldn't want them heading down that path. I want it more serious, sure, but I'm not interested in some grounded, realistic take on Mortal Kombat. I want Goro, "get over here," fireballs, iceballs, Raiden's lightning, brutal fights, decapitations, and everything else that actually defines the MK universe.

It looks promising. I’m hoping they actually deliver on the hype—gritty, bloody, and genuinely horrific, not some watered-down version for kids.😁

I have to admit, this actually sounds decent. Carpenter is an old pro, but even legends can lose their edge sometimes.😁
