Everything seems fine on my end, but the picture in their software is washed out—it's almost unwatchable, like trying to view a screen through a thick curtain... Is there any updated AVerMedia software out there that actually supports Windows 7?

I haven't personally gotten mine running smoothly yet, but AVerMedia does support Windows 7.

It’s almost effortless, like typing on a mechanical keyboard when you finally find that perfect rhythm.
It just takes a bit of grit, some patience, a decent amount of willpower, and enough training hours to make it stick. Before you know it, you’ve got it down.
There’s really no other way to go about this. Using a computer? No. Not happening.
Just with those programs. That's it. Nothing else.

If you’re just grabbing an image from the web to drop into a post, the whole process is completely different. And honestly? A hell of a lot faster.
If I need to go into more detail on that, I will. Just let me know.
No big deal.
Just ask whatever’s weighing on you. Seriously. If everyone else managed to figure this stuff out, why shouldn't you? It'll happen. Eventually. 😉

I had to do this through Firefox 3.5.1 on mac OS x 10.5.7. I can't insert images in Safari. 😢

rapidrider3 said:Oh, it's easy enough. I usually just use Tinypic, http://tinypic.com/. You just browse for the image on your PC, set the options to Defaul, pick whatever size fits, and hit Upload now. You wait for the links to pop up, grab that last link, then either drop the direct link into the post or use the icon—you know, the yellow one with the mountain—open it, paste, and hit OK. Boom. There’s your picture.

Get what I mean?

Not even close. I think I already used the phrase "keep it simple"—or rather, "embedding an image in a Reddit reply for dummies." Copying an image file directly from something like Windows Explorer and then pasting it into a "reply to topic" just doesn't work.

Why on earth make things complicated when you can just keep it simple? Honestly, some people seem to have a PhD in overthinking. 😲

I can't be bothered to read this from the top.

Can someone just give me a straight answer: How do I upload an image from my computer into a Reddit reply? Is it even possible, and if so, how do I get around that ridiculous 10KB file size limit?😕 🤷

Ever since I grabbed the 64-bit version this Monday, burned the DVD, and set it up as a dual boot alongside Ubuntu 9.04, I have to say—it’s holding up so far. It takes a bit longer to boot than Linux does, but once you're in, the whole system feels incredibly responsive. Honestly, the sheer number of options is still giving me a massive headache (especially digging through the Control Panel), but overall, I think Windows 7 shows a lot of promise performance-wise. As for the retail price, though? That is an entirely different conversation 👎.
