Laser pistols make those same "pew-pew" sounds too. 😁

However, I find that the costumes were undoubtedly the most egregious element of vintage SF cinema. We are talking about neon green leggings, sequined V-neck shirts that plunge to the navel, and football jerseys. And apparently, people were meant to believe they could traverse the cosmos looking like that. Personally, I wouldn't dare step foot outside my own apartment dressed in such a manner, let alone attempt an orbital flight.
A) There is something undeniably compelling about an epic saga centered on heroism and standing one's ground against insurmountable odds. The legend of Nikola Zrinski and his defense at the Fortified town would serve as a flawless blueprint for a cinematic masterpiece, even though our own history is brimming with dozens of similar accounts. In truth, we ought to be branding our historical legacy with the same vigor as other nations. If the French were able to amplify their resistance movements to such legendary proportions, there is absolutely no reason why we shouldn't do the same with events that are far more tangible and historically significant.

B) I find myself agreeing with Michael Ortiz68; these are tales from antiquity. 👍

I was actually just about to type this exact sentiment. 😁 It is an absolute joke of a film, and frankly, I find myself questioning what Samuel was even thinking. Have you happened to see those parody clips floating around the internet? Bears on a Submarine 😂

On a different note, I recently sat through another recent release purely based on its title: Lesbian Vampire Killers. It possesses nearly everything one could desire—attractive lesbians, vampires, and assassins. Perhaps the only thing missing from the experience was a bit of chocolate. 😍

At most, you're just getting rid of that heavy weight around your neck that's dragging you under.
Just picture this: no more crushing debt, and you get a totally clean slate starting right now.

Plus, you won't be chasing after money that isn't worth your health.

This is truly sound advice, and I find myself in complete agreement. By letting go of the apartment, you are effectively removing a millstone that was crushing you. If there really is an opportunity to move back in with your parents in the Midwest, then I say take it and begin anew. From what I have gathered through our discussions, you are a hard worker and quite courageous; given the current economic climate in the Midwest, those particular qualities will serve you exceptionally well.

The translation is truly atrocious. Even so, I still intend to sit down and watch the film over the weekend.

I’m reading this and I honestly can't believe my eyes. It never even crossed my mind that there were moderators and administrators on duty who wouldn't immediately sanction the posting of PP. Until now, I had always assumed that the Index forum was the absolute rock bottom of the internet, but it seems this forum has its own special way of being just as pathetic. I am seriously reconsidering my decision to register here. For the most popular forum in America, allowing such a disgrace is unacceptable. 👎
Why do people need a scapegoat? in Psychology ·
Why on earth would I squander my precious time, energy, and mental well-being on something as futile as hatred? For Simona Gotovac, it’s the exact same sentiment as it is for silentpilot6. It is far more efficient to simply look the other way when faced with such phenomena. You just let it slide right past you. At the end of the day, harboring hate only serves to harm oneself, and quite significantly at that.
