I'm running an Intel Core i5 at 3.2GHz with a single core. My initial issue was just a noisy fan, and even then, temperatures were hovering between 55°C and 71°C while I was just browsing the web on Windows 7. I decided to pull the cooler off to clear out a thick layer of dust, but ever since I put it back together, things have gone south. The fan is whisper-quiet now, but the temperature has spiked to 99°C, and the whole system feels sluggish. I’ve tried letting it sit and cool down for a few minutes before booting up, but the CPU temp refuses to drop below 90°C.
I am somewhat concerned about this sudden slowdown. I know I need to pick up some thermal paste to help regulate the heat, but I can't help wondering if I've already caused permanent damage to the CPU. Would the computer even function at all if the processor were actually damaged? 🤷
I’m facing the exact same issue. Back when I was at the hospital, the doctors told me I had some sort of widespread, superficial irritation across my entire eye surface. Looking back, I was wearing my older contact lenses on the day of the exam—which I took out right before they looked at me—so it’s entirely possible that was the culprit. Five months later, I’m back at the doctor over at Harvard, and they’ve prescribed me the same old soft lenses I used to wear, rather than the rigid gas permeable ones the hospital staff originally suggested. Now I’m stuck in a bit of a bind because the redness and visible blood vessels in my eyes are quite pronounced. Even though these lenses are made from top-tier, highly oxygen-permeable materials, they still cause significant discomfort after just a few hours. I can't help but wonder if the doctor pushed the soft lenses on me simply because they carry a higher markup; it feels like there might be a kickback involved, considering how much they push certain brands... I honestly don't know what to make of it all. 🤷
What if I just skip the struggle and head straight for liposuction 🙂?
I need to have this sorted by next summer at the latest, though honestly, I’m feeling pretty lost about it. I’m thin, yet I can't seem to lose those specific areas, and the whole process just drags on forever... I mean, fine, if it works, but now you're telling me it doesn't 🤷
I’ve been dealing with this persistent issue of excess fat in my chest area for quite some time now. Now, I wouldn't go so far as to say I'm overweight—I currently weigh about 150 lbs and stand at 5'9"—but I certainly had significant issues with chest fat back when I was hovering around the 136 lb mark. That was largely because I spent a long period weighing only 110 lbs, and then somehow managed to pack on 40 lbs in a single year... but I digress.
Do you think running, combined with the routine found here, will be enough to help define my chest muscles?
My goal isn't necessarily to bulk up my chest, but rather to tone it and smooth everything out. Are there any other specific exercises you would recommend? Of course, I am fully aware that I need to tighten up my diet as well; despite being slightly underweight by some metrics, my blood lipid levels are a bit concerning.
Alright, let’s see if anyone has anything "better" 🍿 than this. A pack of seven Nabisco Jaffa cookies. E322, E440, E330, E450i, E500ii, E420ii, E200
p.s. Regardless of whether we consider them healthy or not—which honestly isn't the point—I simply don't understand why there needs to be such an excessive amount of chemistry involved. Would these cookies even be edible without, say, two different emulsifiers to hold them together? 🤷?
What are your thoughts on this, and has anyone actually tried it?
I believe it’s a 10-day program $500 totaling roughly 20 hours, though that isn't the primary concern here.
I suffer from myopia, and for the last six years, I’ve rarely slept more than six hours a night—quite a change from when I was out of the workforce and getting a solid eight. Between my career and personal life, I spend about 10 hours a day staring at a computer screen. While dark circles under my eyes occur occasionally, the real issue is the physical sensation; there is this persistent eye fatigue that makes me feel almost intoxicated or drugged. It’s quite embarrassing, frankly, because I find it difficult to even maintain eye contact with people. In photos, I look absolutely lifeless due to how my eyes appear... does anyone else deal with these kinds of issues?
