I’m all for this proposal.
After all, we’re looking at a massive universe here... five books already out on the shelves, at least two more on the horizon, plus seasons 3 and 4 of the series, not to mention a handful of novellas...

If things don't start working tomorrow, I guess I'd take a look, but honestly... 🙂.

It's pretty interesting how they decided to skip over Tom Bombadil in the animation too.

Felipe Massa penalized

That was my mindset going in, and honestly, I actually had a bit of fun at times...
There’s some humor, the special effects hold up, and even though Cage seems to be in every third movie released this year, he really nailed his part.
The kid playing the lead was a bit grating, though... all in all, it's a decent popcorn movie, mostly for the younger crowd.
Don't go looking for deep logic or high-brow artistry here...
Oh, and Molina is incredible!
He absolutely steals every single scene.
Just like in Prince of Persia.

I completely agree with you.
I honestly can't wrap my head around why they gave Jay Baruchel this role. He's just a disaster... totally irritating. It felt like watching Raymond. It would have been much better if the kid playing Dave at the beginning had just carried the whole movie instead.
