Greetings,
Does anyone know how to transfer funds from a checking account to a foreign currency account through Microsoft? Thanks.

You won't be able to receive payments on this card. Transfers are only possible via the Virgin Islands.
The only thing you can receive on this card is a refund from an eBay purchase.

It’s exactly 50 grams. Period. $9.25 And even that little bit of cash.
Don't hold your breath waiting for that to arrive. The postal service in Argentina is incredibly sluggish. Last time I ordered something, it took three full months to show up. 😁

Does the USPS classify these bubble mailers as letters or packages? What’s the safest way to send this—should I go with tracked shipping or what?

Put your own info on the back. Recipient details go on the front, bottom right. Simple as that.
Envelopes are technically classified as letters, though you can always opt to send a package via certified mail. If you want any peace of mind, just go with certified. It’s the only way to be sure.
Look, if you're shipping a movie, just use a bubble mailer with tracking instead of a full box. Shipping it as a package is a total money pit.
Standard mail usually takes about a week, but if you go with certified mail, it should shave a few days off that. That's pretty much the standard turnaround time when dealing with neighboring countries.
Yeah, I've got a tracking number right here.
Does anyone know if I can just slap some stamps on a package when sending it through USPS?

Arrogant, indifferent, and completely uninterested in solving a single problem. They won't even file a formal complaint.
Basically, I have a Mastercard Prepaid Refresh card that I bought specifically because I thought it was foolproof. They told me it couldn't go into a negative balance—you can only spend what you actually load onto it. Everything worked fine until a week ago.
I ordered some items from an online store; they charged me that day, only to charge my card again four days later for the exact same thing.
Since I was certain I still had funds on the card—as I should have—it got declined at the grocery store, and then the ATM tells me I've exceeded my limit. How can I be overdrawn when this card isn't even capable of going into the negative??????
I go to the bank, and they tell me, stone-faced, that I'm in the red.$33 I demand a transaction history, and sure enough, I see that the web shop ran the same transaction twice. I ask them to file a dispute and block the card. The response? There’s no woman available to handle complaints, and apparently, blocking the card $33 isn't a "good enough" reason. They told me I have to settle this with the web shop because they have nothing to do with it.
How can you have nothing to do with it when you allowed someone to hijack my balance on a card that is supposed to be impossible to overdraw?
They could have just wiped out an account with $10 $0.00 too.
Total lack of interest in fixing the issue.
As soon as this is sorted, I'm closing the account. I want absolutely nothing more to do with this bank.

It’s a total lie that this card is foolproof or that you can't go into the negative. I learned that the hard way when they double-charged me for a single transaction. Naturally, Wells Fargo let my balance drop below zero because of their own mistake. Now I’m the one stuck dealing with the headache of getting my money back. So much for "no overdrafts allowed." Just like any other bank, they leave you hanging while you waste your time, your nerves, and your cash.

Anyone still running Windows 7? in Software ·
Thanks, it worked. It wasn't easy though—spent four hours downloading everything on this ancient computer that's basically running on fumes. I ran into some issues during the burning process where it just refused to boot, so I had to trick it by booting from an old Windows DVD first. Once the installation kicked off, I swapped in the new DVD. Everything went smoothly and it’s all up and running now. I ended up installing Windows Home Premium.

Hey, I’m running into an issue installing Windows 7.
It isn't my first rodeo; I've done this countless times before without any drama.
But this time, right when it hits the "expanding files" stage, it just hangs at 0% forever before finally throwing a "corrupt or missing file" error. Specifically, ERROR code 0 x80070017.
Anyone know what's causing this? Thanks.
Priority isn't about signing for it; it's just about getting it there fast.
If we're talking about anything actually valuable, I wouldn't dream of sending it any other way besides certified mail. You don't want to deal with a situation where it never arrives and you're left with zero proof that you ever even sent it.
Kevin Myers7 said:Hey, can someone tell me how long a package takes to get from a small town in Ohio to Chicago? It was shipped on Wednesday.

If it hasn't arrived by now, it'll be there Monday.
No tracking number? Did they leave a slip, or did you just drop it off blindly?
If there's no tracking, it’s likely gone missing or was swiped.
If you actually have tracking, anything could happen. Maybe the mail carrier just forgot to leave the pickup notice. Check with your local USPS office first to see if anything arrived.
quiettinker5 said:Dear readers,

I have a question. My knowledge regarding sending or receiving packages is minimal, so this might be pretty basic. Basically, I need to send a birthday gift to a friend in Seattle (I am based in Washington, D.C.). It’s just a standard-thickness book, and I’m unsure which method to use. If I send a package, do I provide my own box? (I REALLY don't know!) How much does shipping cost? Do they weigh the package, and do they inspect the contents? And the most important question, how many days should I expect it to take to get from Washington, D.C. to Seattle? Does it depend on business days? Like, a maximum of 5 business days after dropping it off?

Thanks a lot!

You can either find your own box or buy one there.
Shipping costs depend entirely on weight, starting from $6.00 and up for a package.
Now, if it isn't particularly heavy, you might consider sending it via certified mail (you can still use a box for that). Unless that book is worth more than $33, it’s actually better to send it as a regular package rather than certified to avoid any theft risks.
It will arrive in Seattle by the next day.
Sandra Lopez9 said:Much appreciated.🙂
One more thing—is it actually mandatory to put your return address in the top left corner of the envelope when sending something via certified mail?🙂

Yeah, you have to include an address. If you aren't comfortable putting down your actual home address, you can just use something like:
First and last name.
Poste Restante 10000 Washington, D.C.
Poste Restante 10000 Washington, D.C.
America.
Sandra Lopez9 said:Hey everyone... I need some serious help. I want to mail a letter (two sheets of A4 paper and one tiny teddy bear keychain) overseas—specifically to India. I did my homework on the USPS website, but I'm still not sure how to send it as priority mail versus certified mail? Also, is it true that I shouldn't seal the envelope because the clerk at the counter needs to inspect the contents? This is my first time sending anything outside the US, so I'm just wondering how this works..

Go with certified for India. Honestly, there isn't much of a price difference between certified and priority anyway.
Just stick to certified without paying extra for airmail or priority; it costs $7.75 and takes about 7-10 days.
It’s all the same. It gets there eventually, but they love charging you more under the guise of being "faster," even when it isn't.
Best bet is to use a bubble mailer. They're way tougher than standard envelopes.
And look, at my local post office, they don't bother inspecting the contents and let me hand over a sealed envelope, but everywhere else they've demanded to see what's inside. Better to show up with an open envelope.
wireddrifter6 said:Yeah, a lot has gone down since the last update. This woman has been blowing up my phone with threats for two days straight. I’ve already spoken to a cop; I’m seriously considering filing an official report. It’s total chaos. "I'll deal with you," "I'll show up when you least expect it," "Watch your back," "Warn your parents and family"... like, who does she think she is? 😕 It's obvious she’s lost her mind. I even offered to split the shipping costs just to settle things, but no—she went straight to threats. You're right, though; once the phone is in her possession, if I don't have the cash to pick it up, it just goes back to her. She even sent messages claiming the funds were frozen??? So I called the post office, and they told me that's impossible because it's a COD shipment. Anyway, I've been a wreck for days because of this woman. Every time my phone pings, I start shaking. 😢

Did you actually redeem your phone?
Because at this rate, it looks like you're paying to receive an empty box or a literal brick.
