I mean, if my PayPal is already linked to my Chime account, how does that actually work?
Like, I’ve got a PayPal account set up specifically to pay for HBO.
So when it comes time to pull funds out, am I supposed to manually select Vegas?
Or does the transfer just happen automatically straight to Chime?

My bad, I totally mixed things up. I was actually thinking about refunds.

I usually just handle my payments through ini or the Associated Press. Simple as that.
Thanks.

Hey guys, can anyone help me wrap my head around how these utility payments work?
Here’s how I think the process goes:
1. I scan all my utility bill codes at home.
2. I generate a code or an amount that needs to be paid at the CVS store.
3. The clerk scans the code from my phone.
4. I hand over the cash and the payment hits my digital wallet.
5. Then the clerk scans all my individual bills.
6. ?!?! How does the total amount actually get pulled?
Thanks so much!

By Monday night, they tested positive at home after running a fever, though they had no other symptoms. I have been self-isolating since I found out on Monday night, but unfortunately, I was in contact with two other high-risk individuals on Monday morning and afternoon before I knew the risk. Is it possible that I caught it and the virus progressed enough within 24 hours for me to have already passed it on to someone else by the following day?🙂

It's definitely possible you stayed safe if you were being careful with things like wearing a mask and keeping a good six feet of distance.

If you're in isolation, you can't show up to work, period—doesn't matter how much you think you feel fine.
And look, once that isolation period is officially over, you don't even have to bother with a follow-up test.

And that's all after those 10 days are up.
Thanks for clearing that up for me.

coastaltiger7 said:I saw on another thread that you have symptoms.
The day those show up is day zero, plus 10 days.

So, I didn't have a fever yesterday, and I haven't had one today either. Everything seems to have leveled out and I'm feeling okay. I've just got this tiny, almost unnoticeable stabbing sensation here and there—like in my thumb joint or near my knuckles—but it's really nothing. And obviously, if I do anything active, I just feel tired and need to lie down for a bit.
If I keep feeling this much better over the next three days, am I allowed to head back to work? I’d be working solo in my own space, following all the CDC guidelines, wearing a mask, and everything, but the thing is, even though the symptoms are gone, I still tested positive on my rapid antigen test for WHO.

Or am I stuck staying home on sick leave because my doctor says so?
And what about people who don't show any symptoms at all, have been vaccinated twice, but still pull a positive test?
Do they just go back into their workplace after letting their bosses know and keeping their distance from everyone?
Is there actually a need to wait for a negative test result, and is that even really a realistic thing to expect?

Olivia Cooper47 said:"The isolation period starts fourteen days after a positive test result. But since we're talking about dental work, you need to tack on an extra forty days on top of that before they can come in." That was what the kid's dentist told us.😵🤔
P.S. We still haven't heard a peep from the public health officials.

My at-home test just came back positive for WHO.
So does that mean today is day zero?? Plus the 14 days?

nimbleranger17 said:According to the current guidelines, once you've received that second dose, you’re officially cleared from self-isolation—provided, of course, that you aren't actually feeling under the weather with any symptoms.

So if we're talking about waiting 14 days after the second shot... well, since today is only my second day since getting vaccinated, does that mean I'm stuck in quarantine?

Hey there,
So, Mozart and I both took rapid tests last night, and he came back positive while mine was negative.
Just for some context, I got my second vaccine dose back on November 3rd.
He already sent an email over to our doctor to figure out what the next steps should be.
Since I've been in close contact with someone who tested positive, what does that actually mean for me? Am I supposed to head into quarantine or just self-isolate at home?
Thanks for any help you can give.

coastalbison6 said:Honestly, this stuff was eating me alive for years, so about two months ago I finally decided to pull the trigger and see a specialist—private practice, on my own recommendation—specifically a physical medicine doctor.
First off, we spent a long time just talking through all my health issues, and then it moved into this intense massage therapy using some kind of specialized wood tools. He actually told me it was totally fine to scream, cry, or just swear my head off 😁 and that once I hit that breaking point where I couldn't take the pain anymore, it would finally start letting go 👍 and man, he wasn't kidding... it worked exactly like that. You can go back for more sessions if you need them, but you really have to wait at least 4 to 6 weeks between visits.
As for meds: I'm taking Vitamin D2 paired with Vitamin K2/MK7, plus three Neurobion Forte tablets a day, and magnesium, obviously. All the dosages are pretty high, and I've got to get my bloodwork checked in two weeks to monitor the Vitamin D2 levels.
After just two months, I’m already feeling way better. He gave me a bunch of exercises to do too, though I’ll be honest, I haven't really been sticking to them. His top recommendation for therapy was actually using a home rebounder/mini-trampoline for specific exercises. I just ordered one; they aren't cheap, but it has to be a high-end medical grade model to actually work.

Does anyone know where I can pick up that "Vitamin D2 combined with Vitamin K2/MK7" combo? Also, what exactly is MK7 supposed to mean?
Dry / Chapped Lips in Health ·
Brian Kim5 said:I’m not sure if there’s already a thread for this, but I couldn't find one. Basically, my lips are constantly chapped. It doesn't matter if it's summer or winter—they just crack, hurt, and peel constantly. I’ve tried every balm, cream, and oil under the sun, but nothing seems to work. I follow all the standard advice, too; I don't lick them and I'm actually really careful about it, yet they still look terrible. Sometimes they get so bad they actually start bleeding. What am I supposed to do? Could this be pointing to an underlying health issue, or am I just stuck with chronically dry lips? Thanks for any help.

Honestly, after trying basically every product on the drugstore shelf, my top pick is definitely:
himalaya lip balm😍

I'm on the hunt for some wide-pattern fishnets or tights here in Washington, D.C.
I checked out Victoria's Secret and even swung by the shops near the waterfront, but they're totally out of stock—all they have left is that super tiny, subtle pattern. 🙂
Any leads? Help me out!

I was diagnosed with ME back in June, and honestly, it’s been quite the journey dealing with such a wide array of symptoms... it really feels like this isn't something that's going to resolve anytime soon...🙂

Hey,
Where did you end up getting diagnosed—like, which hospital system or medical center were you at? And if you don't mind sharing, what kind of tests did they run on you and what's your current treatment plan looking like?
Thanks.
silentbear16 said:Does anyone here deal with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, also known as ME/CFS (G93.3)?

I'm not just talking about feeling tired... I mean the actual medical condition that involves so much more than just exhaustion.

Have you been officially diagnosed with ME? Like, where did you go to get that checked out?
Tight-fitting shoes in Fashion ·
shadowmaker31 said:A few weeks back, I spotted these absolutely stunning ballet flats over at Zara—not quite flat, mind you, but they had this lovely little lacquered platform heel, and the upper part was a soft grey adorned with a bow.😍😍 They were just gorgeous... but my bank account simply wasn't having it at the time.😢 Fast forward to payday; the memory of those shoes popped into my head, so I made a quick dash to Zara, feeling quite optimistic that they might still be there! And sure enough, there they were. I went straight to try them on, naturally. What happened? Well, I started by trying a size 6 in US sizing (since I usually fluctuate between a 6 and a 7). The length felt alright, but I could tell they were pinching me just a bit. So, I moved up to a 7, which fit perfectly, but when I actually tried to walk, the shoe felt loose; my foot would almost slip out, leaving enough room that I could practically tuck my toe behind it.😕 I found myself in a bit of a dilemma, so I immediately called a colleague from the nearby Walgreens where I work to get her take. She just insisted, "Oh, just grab the 6, they'll stretch out once you wear them in," and went on about how they did the same thing to her.
So, being swept up in the moment, I bought the 6, feeling so happy and convinced that I’d finally found my dream shoes. I wore them today—truth be told, I spent the entire day walking around town before heading into work—and let me tell you, by the time I got to my shift, I was in absolute agony. It was so bad I actually had to go buy something else just to find relief. Now, I'm sitting here feeling so incredibly frustrated with myself. I don't know what to do; I can't exactly return them because I've already worn them (even if they don't look used, really), but I'd be heartbroken to sell them, especially if they don't have the 7 in stock if I ever need to replace them. I just don't want to let them go.😢 Not really,🤣 but they've dug into my skin so deeply that I genuinely don't know how to fix this.

It sounds like a 6.5 works for you, but they don't even carry that size. Plus, let's be real, one foot is almost always slightly stronger than the other anyway. Maybe try getting some skin stretching spray? It actually helps. Also, maybe steer clear of wearing those flats at work for a little while until your feet recover.

And that's pretty much it.
Acupuncture and weight loss in Health ·
Anthony Walker7 said:Hi everyone,
My sister-in-law visited Huber twice, and she managed to get everything back to normal within about two or three months—though I wasn't a huge fan of the fact that they prescribed antidepressants, especially since most doctors don't really vouch for them like that.
As for me, I went to see Dr. Goricka in downtown Chicago twice—first for acupuncture sessions and later for some needle therapy—they even gave me a couple of sessions specifically for stress management. Of course, you have to put in the work to see results, but for me, the weight just melted away (about 33 pounds!) after my pregnancy. Her diet plan really works for me; it’s much better than that one fad diet I tried once. Plus, while I was losing weight, I realized I had a pollen allergy, so I did two rounds of allergy treatment—I haven't even touched Dimetaphane in the seven months since.
Here are the details if anyone is interested in her work:

How much does the treatment run, and how often do you have to go (like, once a week)?

Has anyone here ever seen Dr. Nagy?

Honestly, it doesn't even matter if the exam feels delicate or a bit rough, you know? I suggested a female gynecologist because you mentioned how awkward the whole thing makes you feel, and let’s face it, it’s just so much easier to go to a woman when you're dealing with that kind of discomfort. I'm not sure which part of the States you're living in, but if you happen to be in a place like Chicago, I could definitely point you toward this amazing young doctor who is totally judgment-free, super smart, and just incredible at what she does.😍

Feel free to shoot me a private message too. My daughter was just told she has a clear cyst on her ovary, and honestly, she’s really hoping to see a specialist—someone who truly understands women's health—rather than just a general doctor.👍
