I don't really need it right now... though things are shifting constantly, honestly... just a couple of hours ago, things were looking pretty rough on all fronts

It’s honestly pretty shameful... the league leadership doesn't seem to see anything wrong with scheduling games on the day we remember Jesus' death, and we just aren't going to be a part of that...
It’s just important that we always talk about how tough things are... because honestly, it wouldn't be possible over there, and every single time someone gets drunk, they just absolutely wreck themselves... It isn't about pointing fingers at one person, it's about all of us... We have such incredible talent, but hey, we won't even try because it feels like it's just out of reach...
The Torcida Supporters Club is putting together our second indoor soccer tournament for all our local fan groups and branches... it’s happening on March 1st, 2014, over at the sports arena in Miami's Mejaš neighborhood.
Last year, we mentioned how we wanted to make this kind of tournament—just a way for everyone to get together before the second half of the season kicks off—into an annual tradition. We couldn't quite pull it off last time because the Hajduk's schedule was just too messy, so we decided to wait until the first Sunday Hajduk plays here in Miami.
Starting this year, the Torcida Supporters Club leadership has decided to name the tournament after Pavao Grubišić Čaba, our former secretary who left us far too soon. By running this tournament, we want to honor Pave and everything he did for the group and for Hajduk. He was really one of the leaders of the new generation of Torcida... a guy who helped lay the groundwork for everything we do for Great Hajduk. We'll always remember him as a dreamer, an idealist, someone who fought against injustice, a true rebel, and honestly, one of the bravest guys ever to stand up in the North.
Last year, the tournament was the big finale for our "Torcida for Vukovar" charity drive, where we managed to raise $37 for the families most in need in Vukovar and the Tompojevac area. This year, we're keeping that humanitarian spirit alive... all the entry fees collected will be donated directly to Pave's daughters.
The entry fee per team is $100, and if you want in, please sign up by February 28th, 2014, at least. You can call 099 440 0193 or just stop by the fan club. The technical details... we'll release those once we see how many teams sign up. Match lengths and the full schedule will depend on the number of entries, but we're planning to kick things off at 10 AM.
The plans are already set... nobody’s going to be posting the details on here, obviously. If anyone actually cares enough to find out, they'll figure it out soon enough... (and I don't mean you personally)
Sure, Jesse Campbell is making bank, but he’s also riding the wave of support from a bunch of clueless people who blew it last night... support he could easily get back once they hit the European circuit this spring... regardless of what we actually think about those fans, I guess it’s just easier to hang around when they're backing you...
Robert Adams, just my two cents here, don't quote me on it... it feels like there's nothing to gain, and anything could happen that just works against you... I mean, nobody's gonna spend 90 minutes rooting against Madoff (God, I hope I'm wrong), and I'm guessing people will end up cheering for Real Madrid too... maybe just with their voices instead of their hearts... I honestly think the players would rather take a loss without the fans than deal with them, even if they don't really care about us anyway... that's just how I see it...
Not that it matters much, it's not really about my specific group... anyway, I just want to wish everyone out there the best of luck, you're gonna need it...
And hey, don't start celebrating just yet... Madoff has way too much luck on his side. He'll probably find a way to screw things up by snagging 1st or 2nd place in the groups, and then we'll all be dealing with the fallout... it's gonna get messy...
