hmmmmmmmm... but then again, those photos stay forever... whereas most guys—well, the vast majority of them, really—will have moved on and forgotten what she even looked like within a month anyway... 🙂
I've actually heard quite a bit about them—people seem to rave about their service...🙂
Have you already finalized those details? And what kind of flavors are we thinking for the cakes?
Personally, I don't see it being an issue since my three kids are all in different places—though I'm honestly stumped on what kind of filling to go with...😢
I am about 99% leaning towards that display stand—and as for the cake, I think keeping it simple would be best... just a clean, pure white look, maybe with just a tiny hint of decoration here and there...
Why does everyone assume a bulk order automatically means a discount? 🙂
They just don't seem to grasp that crafting a custom wedding cake is a whole different beast compared to churning out standard batches for a local bakery—where you aren't even worrying about intricate decorations... and if a baker makes a tiny slip-up there, well, it’s no big deal...
Personally, I find these prices totally reasonable and I'm not one to complain, but my priority is making sure everything is absolutely flawless—both in how it looks and how it tastes...
I just got back from a little trip to an unknown bakery, and honestly... I think I'm in love... No, wait—I haven't even tasted the cakes or pastries yet! It was actually the catalog that caught my eye. I found these two cake stands that are just perfection because they aren't stacked directly on top of one another, which means I won't have to stress about which layer goes on bottom and which goes on top...
That one with the spheres isn't bad at all, though it seems a bit awkward when you're actually slicing the cake—since those little tubes holding the spheres in place have to go right through the dessert itself...
Now, this one is much more my style. Even though I'm not usually one for those super romantic, swirling flourishes, this design doesn't feel tacky at all—especially if we pair it with some minimalist cakes. It would fit beautifully with the decor over at Trajbar's place, so I'm thinking we’ll definitely go with this option...
By the way, the slices are priced at $15, $14, and $4.00 per piece—depending on which one you pick...
Oh man, I was honestly so shaken up after that total disaster with those three cakes of theirs—they weren't even close to being good, let alone decent... but now we've just realized that a dear friend of ours actually owns Sugarman! So, we’re planning to head over there to try out their pastries and cakes instead... and if they turn out to be as lovely as everyone says they are—then we'll definitely stick with them from now on... as for the prices, they seem to be sitting right around there—maybe a little pricier than the other spots nearby
Hey Lizzie, have you had a chance to check out that Whole Foods in that small town in the Midwest—the one that does a partnership with Trajbar? They actually recommended them to me because it takes all the stress out of picking out a cake—you just make your selection and they handle all the delivery logistics... so much easier...
I just haven't made it over there to try anything yet...
we're actually heading over to Sugarland this Saturday—my husband realized out of nowhere that his buddy and his wife host a little get-together there 😂 so we're going to swing by and see if we can strike it lucky 🙂
