Man, don't even try lecturing me when my own system shows I've got about 4 GB available... you can say whatever you want, but it doesn't change the reality of what's sitting there.
The way things are running, you're looking at roughly 3.25 GB being used up right now.

I just can't wrap my head around how those driver issues couldn't be fixed on Windows 7.
Good luck with XP, though... personally, feels like taking two massive steps backward into the Stone Age... 🙂
Noah Sanchez39 said:You really think it’s just one driver? Honestly, why don't you just back up all your precious files and wipe the whole damn thing to reinstall Windows 7... 🙂
Keith Bennett38 said:Have you tried plugging it into a different USB port yet???
Just try clicking that link and see what kind of error pops up.
"What can I do if my device....."

Most of the time, you’re supposed to run the setup without the printer connected at all, and then you just plug it in right when the installer tells you to, exactly like how you described it happening...
Try uninstalling whatever Epson software you currently have via the Control Panel (Add/Remove Programs), then unplug the printer entirely, reboot your PC, and start the installation from scratch—only plugging the printer back in when the program specifically prompts you to do so!
Jesse Wilson17 said:I mean, when you first picked up the printer, didn't it come with a CD or something with the drivers on it? You just pop it in and run the install... :/
Or honestly, just head over to the HP website, grab the specific driver for your model, and just install it from there
ok edit:
here are the drivers for both 64 and 32 bit Windows (from Windows XP onwards)
ftp://download.epson-europe.com/pub/...on326688eu.exe <-- 64 bit
ftp://download.epson-europe.com/pub/...on326687eu.exe <--- 32 bit
(HP Envy, right?)

Intel I5 750
ati xfx 5770 6
6gb ddr3
750gb hdd. if i actually had a fast enough drive, i bet my score would be closer to a 6.5

and maybe learn how to actually type properly...🤦
