Yeah, right. It'll be just like that Unknown show, when the queen of pop played at the arena back then...😳
banderas, it's obvious you're just paying tribute to him; you clearly don't follow the modern pop scene. There's no competition these days. You either have the look or you don't.
We think this lineup is garbage. And we won't be showing up. Just look back at how the programming used to be at the IEEE when it was handled by people who actually cared about the organization and had good taste. People who actually knew how to do their jobs as concert promoters.

The guy's an amateur. If he had any clue, he would've realized there wasn't even any green onions in that burrito. It was just Swiss chard.😳 😳 😳
Anyway, personally, I prefer less cheese. And honestly, I'd rather hear more Brother Sister than all that AB Life and Foxes stuff. But since their veteran bassist stepped in right before the tour started—because the new guy broke his arm—it actually turned out pretty decent.
I’m calling it now: this concert is going to be top-tier. Anyone sitting this one out because of those "Christian" objections is seriously missing out...
Drew Adams58 said:Look, you have to fight for those extra few hundred bucks coming at the end of the year. Stop talking trash about Mr. Sefc. His daughters listen to Marley and the fat president, and he already said he finally doesn't have to worry about his daughters committing any crimes... 😬
He says this, he says that. Just read the comments.
I’m not going to waste my time or bandwidth arguing about Warner Bros. again just to restate that they operate like a mafia. It’s basically a state-sanctioned syndicate.
There is no other way to explain an organization that sends the police to a venue's door with a cease-and-desist order to shut down a show—like an Against Me! concert, for instance—regardless of the fact that the band itself signed paperwork waiving their royalties specifically to benefit the club.
And then, to top it all off, Warner Bros. spends the next year dragging that same club through the courts because the concert went ahead anyway.
Drew Adams58 said:Exactly. The artists didn't write and record the music themselves anyway, so who cares. Arguing about it is pointless. If you want to watch movies, pay up. If you want to hear the soundtrack, pay up. That's just capitalism...
The issue isn't that you have to pay for music. Fine. I pay. My problem is specifically with how Warner Bros. collects and distributes the money. Their entire system is basically criminal and predatory.
