So what’s a "real US-er" to you?
Just someone single, or does being single mean you gotta have zero social life too?

Which is fine, but then why complain when your own voters play by those same rules? 🤷

Honestly, the best way I can explain it is by looking at tennis players. You don't necessarily have to be ranked number one in the ATP Rankings, you don't need to have won a Grand Slam, and you don't even have to be in the top 10 to be considered a great player. It’s just about having that certain something. Real pros distinguish themselves from casual weekend players through their sense of timing and how they perceive the flow of the game. While an amateur is always rushed, panicking and reacting frantically under pressure, time seems to move in slow motion for the greats—they are always in the right place at the exact right moment, nothing catches them off guard, and they always seem prepared to react perfectly when it matters most.
It’s the same thing with those truly legendary forum members; they seem to have this incredible sense of timing, as if they have all the time in the world. Personally, it remains a mystery to me how they pull it off. How much time do you typically dedicate to the Forum on a daily basis? Does maintaining that kind of presence require sacrificing other parts of life, like family, work, seeing friends, or just getting out and enjoying yourself?

By signing up, we basically agreed to follow a set of rules that actually fall short of what the law requires.
If a regular user is out here following all the rules, then the mods and everyone running the show should be setting the standard for how to actually respect them. It’s like if you owned an apartment and someone just barged in, acting like they own the place and saying whatever they want because "freedom of speech" gives them a pass. If you're the homeowner and they're driving you crazy, you have every right to kick them out. They still have their right to speak—they just have to do it somewhere else.
That comparison doesn't really hold up. The lease agreement is what governs the relationship between landlords and tenants. If rights are violated, that's a matter for the courts to decide. Forcing someone out isn't legal, and if anyone tries to go that route anyway, they better be ready to face the consequences if it goes against the signed contract.
That’s a bad comparison. Landlord-tenant relationships are handled by a contract. If one side breaks the rules, you go to court. You can't just kick someone out forcefully; if an owner tries that, they better be ready for the legal fallout if it goes against the signed lease.

By being part of a democratic world, we've moved past one-sided thinking; we have to clear out those leftovers because they threaten our very way of life.Do you even know the difference between self-censorship and censorship? No?
Limiting my freedom to express an opinion through my posts is self-censorship. But since actual censorship is also being applied to what I write, both are against civilized norms and problematic in their own right.

I was just speaking with Krabs in the exact same manner he believes gives him some sort of divine right to lecture the moderators. This was in response to a decently written post—one in which he apparently managed to find himself.
This other rambo-wannabe has 329 cards and 3 partials; instead of being grateful that the ruthless administration even allows him to remain here, he’s busy spitting in the faces of perfectly good moderators. 🤣
That is all for today.
Cheerio.
Jason Brown5 said:I won't speak on my own behalf, but I will mention one thing: what you fail to grasp is that every single moderator—every single one except me, which is fine by me—is infinitely more valuable to this site and to Maria Barnes than you could ever hope to be.
Not just compared to the users who produce quality content, mind you.
But compared to you—someone who probably runs an ad-blocker and therefore contributes nothing via clicks, while the content you generate consists of pathetic attempts to hit on every female profile in completely irrelevant threads—you provide no utility whatsoever.
And let's be clear: moderator decisions are not infallible. However, they aren't "wrong" simply because some user said so. You didn't understand a single thing in your first post, nor did you actually comment on anything related to that post. It doesn't matter how many times some whining victim complains; the only thing that matters is whether they have a legitimate grievance.
And that isn't your call to make.

Maria Johnson said:I’d add one more thing—my 900 points hit on July 24th, 2019, and the mods started throwing shade at me back in the first week. I know you guys see everything, and honestly, I know you’re trying to set me up, but it ain't happening, you gotta realize I’m always two steps ahead.🙂 Total amateur hour.
