I've never had a single issue with Wacky or Tyler Vaughn7.
Their moderation style doesn't bother me at all. Being a mod isn't easy, especially when you're actually trying to be a decent human being. Someone’s always gonna have something to complain about.
Just wanted to throw some support their way.
slypuma12 said:Let me clear this up. Yeah, that post wasn't banned—it was deleted because I figured it was smarter that way. Sorry you had to see it. Honestly, I was just trying to look out for you, which is why I pulled it. I didn't see any point in handing out bans for something reactionary when, from where I was sitting, nothing else was even being said. If something actually crosses the line, just REPORT IT! We aren't here to babysit your drama or read between the lines. Why have a report button if you aren't going to use it? Otherwise, we’ll just tell Anderlon to scrap it and everyone can just fight in the DMs or on the PŽK.
As for that other post you mentioned about Womcat, there's zero controversy there. The guy was just sharing his take. It was a little unrefined, sure, but it’s just one person's opinion. I don't get why you're dragging that into something that doesn't involve you. If Womcat felt targeted or insulted by it, she would've reported it, and I'm sure a ban would've followed. Like I said, it got wiped because it was starting a bad vibe in the thread, and as mods, deleting stuff is our first move to cool things down. If that fails, then comes the banning.
The people from the off-topic section? Let me explain. Did you guys come from off-topic or not? Did the people who got warned start posting all kinds of junk, just like they were doing in off-topic? Just step back for a second and look at the big picture. You'll see nobody has some secret agenda against anyone; you're just projecting and making mountains out of molehills. And as for being called "off-topic crowd"... well, that's just the facts. We don't treat you any differently than the regulars.
slypuma12 said:1. I said Gray will get what's coming to him if he keeps this up. Whether that means a warning or a partial ban, that call is between my colleague and me, not you. I didn't mention any partial bans. You just assumed that part yourself. Next time, try actually reading the PM with some actual comprehension.
2. Yeah, Sarah and Dario, you both got warned because you showed up to the main chat like a damn tsunami, immediately starting to stir the pot with everyone else. Dario earned his partial ban on the main chat not because he insulted me, but because he was being deaf to the rules and intentionally pushing back against moderation. And he does it constantly!
3. Even though we warn you guys that we're going to tighten things up, we still act chill, thinking you'll take the hint, calm down, and stop instigating and provoking everyone. Instead, because we let you all slide so much, you end up getting hit because things aren't going your way. (This part goes out to everyone reading this who isn't involved but is hanging out in the main chat. Hey everyone! 👋)
Just let the mods do their jobs. Use the report button. Don't fight your battles in public; use private messages for that.
I've said my piece and don't have anything else to add.

It is also incredibly important to consider which country we are talking about, because the cost of living varies so wildly from place to place, meaning a specific dollar amount doesn't provide the same level of economic security whether you are in a small town in the Midwest or right in the heart of New York City.
Ultimately, though, the specific number matters less than the underlying principle, which is that financial scarcity triggers negative emotions that directly impact your overall sense of happiness. As your income climbs, those stressful feelings begin to subside, eventually hitting a plateau once you reach around $200,000. Beyond that point, any additional wealth won't really do much more to eliminate the stress caused by money shortages, so you stop feeling that distinct "boost" in happiness from higher earnings.
We also have to remember that well-being is heavily influenced by intangible factors—things like having deep, fulfilling relationships with your family, friends, and community, all of which require a significant investment of time. Because of this, there is a very real risk that chasing excessive wealth can actually lead to a sense of dissatisfaction; even if you’ve met the financial threshold required to cancel out the stress of being broke, you might find yourself losing the precious time needed to nurture the other vital parts of a happy life.

Just messing with you.
Jason Brown5 said:Just so we're clear, this is all volunteer work. We aren't glued to our screens 24/7, so things are starting to veer off track, which honestly happens way too often here at PZK. Richard Nelson84 made this call because he was the first one to see the reports and jump on them. It’s not like it's his personal opinion versus everyone else's.

Didn't mean to offend anyone, nor am I saying it's right. But what, you think you can actually threaten me? Do us both a favor and get lost from this chat. Thanks.
