It feels like every time a team builds momentum, someone goes down and we're stuck waiting on a recovery timeline that's always "just around the corner." I hate how much a single setback can stall a season's energy before it even really starts. Do you guys think these mid-season absences are getting harder to manage with the current schedule?
Just saw that a major NASA communications complex near Madrid got hit by those massive wildfires. It's scary how fast these things spread and threaten such critical infrastructure. Do we know if they have backup sites ready to take over the signal?

There’s this one spot in Blatina where a ton of girls used to hang out... I can't for the life of me remember the name. Can someone please drop it in the comments?

p.s. Christian Ross6, are we allowed to post stuff like this here??? If not, just move it somewhere else... thx

Why wouldn't we be able to? I was just asking you guys not to wander around or barge in everywhere—why pick on someone? Eventually, this will become a topic itself, and then the whole point of the thread is lost.😉😉

You guys aren't being fair. We had a deal—this thread is for useful info, and the other one is strictly for small talk. And what do I find? Three pages of pure chatter. Seriously, if we were being decent enough to let you have your own space for nonsense, maybe you could show a little respect here? Consider this a warning.
To reiterate: use this thread for links, recommendations, and warnings—just a quick note on why something is good or bad. But if you want to go into deep detail about why someone is a hire or a dud, or if you want to swap long stories about your personal experiences, take it to the off-topic thread!

Justin Booth88 said:😍On Saturday, while we were heading out to check out the Bolero venue, we stumbled right into a wedding for a famous RUKOMETAŠA-SVIRALI — the Nera X Band. Honestly, calling them phenomenal is probably an understatement. Just a heads up, the Cili Band goes for about $2,000—if they're even available, I guess.🙂

Justin Booth88 said:She won us over instantly with that spontaneous energy—gave us advice on all sorts of things, too. But man, that singing... as for the article itself? There isn't much to it. Just some bits about the young crowd, two photos of the NERA X BAND playing, and then "FESTIVAL UNTIL DAWN" slapped at the bottom in huge letters. I'll scan it for you and send it over via DM.🙂

Honestly, this whole thing smells like a paid ad to me. I’m not 100% sure, so consider this a little heads-up—don't go typing in all caps or spamming five identical posts. If you actually want to swap stories and experiences, go find an American diner or something. This place is strictly for useful information. Nothing else. 😉
So, the band's name is Sale—just flower shops and that's it. Simple enough, right?

Maybe try actually reading the rules before you go starting another thread next time.

The topic's been renamed. From here on out, just dump whatever you think is actually useful right here—and let me be clear, I’m not interested in any mindless chatter!!!!

When I stop, things seem to normalize, though my cycle gets slightly late every month until it eventually hits a point where it's over a month late (this happens after being off birth control for more than a year). Then, I'll go back on them for a few months, then stop again, and so on.
It was always fine after the pill before, so why is it different now?!?!??!?!?!?!?!
Yeah, I have PCOS and some hormonal deficiencies, which is why I'm on the pill.
And I still haven't gotten my period?!?!?!??!?!?

Not sure what the catch is. But honestly, playing "on/off" with hormones doesn't seem like the smartest move—it basically shocks your system. And isn't it possible your period is MIA specifically because you keep messing with it like that???
Ladies, I just nuked those posts before they turned into a full-blown brawl. Let’s try to actually stick to the topic for once, alright? You already have your own threads to chat in without causing a scene, so let’s keep it that way. And no—there won't be another thread for chatting with girls from California.

hitemup, welcome to the group. Since you're the new kid on the block, do yourself a favor and actually read the rules. Everyone here is friendly enough—nobody attacks people out of nowhere. But if I find out you're just some troll looking for trouble? Well, then you've got a problem.

Benjamin Thomas8, don't sweat it—it’s totally normal, just like > said. Your body just needs time to adjust.
Though honestly, I don't get the inconsistency either—why take them one day and skip the next?
I take mine strictly for my hormone levels, and my doctor has never once suggested being "hit or miss" with the dosage...

Chris Lopez59 said:but if you're actually healthy, there's zero point in running tests—it's just a massive waste of both time and money...

At the end of the day, I don't know, but I highly doubt any lab test—assuming you're healthy—is going to give you some magic recommendation on which pill is "best" for you 🤷 honestly, you only figure that out by trial and error

Here is what I would do in such a hypothetical scenario. Either I’d prescribe the one where I know my patients complain about side effects the least—basically the one they're most satisfied with—or I’d go with the one containing the lowest hormone levels, since that represents the smallest possible interference with the body

Since we're already talking hypotheticals...
What would you even do if you had a patient with an overabundance of good bacteria? Those vaginal suppositories that used to target those specific bacteria aren't even manufactured anymore. So, what would you prescribe then?
Logest vs. Yasmin: Which one is better? in Women's Health ·
Look, I’m basing this on the fact that I actually am an OB-GYN—I wouldn't just prescribe contraception without ordering the necessary tests first.
Or maybe I'm just living in a total fantasy world? Honestly, if I'm not a gynecologist, we're probably all sharing the same delusion...

Chris Lopez59 said:Alright, let’s look at a hypothetical scenario here. You’re an OBGYN. A woman walks in asking for birth control—strictly for contraception, no other underlying health issues. She’s never used hormonal pills before; this would be her first time. To save the insurance companies some cash, you aren't going to run any extensive tests to figure out which specific pill is best for her body. Since she's perfectly healthy, there's just no reason to bother with testing, right?

So, which brand are you prescribing, and what's your reasoning?

I get all that—especially the part about the healthcare system cutting corners on us. But my point was simply that every single woman reacts differently to different pills! 😉😉

Carol Brooks41 said:Hey everyone!
So, I figured I'd share my experience with the various pills I've tried so far.
CILEST - those were my first ones ever. I bled for an entire month and felt incredibly bloated—honestly, a total nightmare. After just one month, I was done.
TRIQUILAR - weight, mood, bloating... everything was fine. No issues there. But—my libido completely vanished, and they made my contact lenses impossible to wear (it felt like having sand in my eyes).
LOGEST - I took these for a few months a couple of years ago and they were perfect; seriously, zero symptoms. It was just awkward because they weren't available here at the time, so I had to get them from a friend in Austin (by the way, she was getting them for free via prescription—not for any medical reason, just for contraception).

Once again, we’ve proven that birth control is different for every single body. For me, Cilest worked great. I also used Yasmin for years and it was perfectly fine too.
The point is, we're all built differently—our bodies included. One person likes Cilest, another prefers Logest, someone else goes with Yasmin. Why even have these debates? At the end of the day, if you want reliable protection, a doctor should run your tests and prescribe what actually fits your profile. If your doctor recommends Logest based on your labs, but some random person on a forum tells you Logest is trash and Yasmin is better—who are you actually going to listen to?

Hope we're on the same page.

Nicole Parker93 said:I think back when I was on the pill, I could predict almost to the exact hour when my period would start... every single month—same day, same time, starts and stops right on schedule. It’s like having a Swiss watch.😁

That's actually what I love—knowing down to the minute when I need to grab a pad.

Carol Parker said:Which one are you taking? I'm honestly terrified of the side effects like those veins—I just can't decide...
And seriously, larger breasts? I haven't heard that from women before.

I was on Yasmin for years. Now I'm taking Loestrin.

Carol Parker said:But I really don't know anyone whose breasts actually grew—and if they do, how much?
It's just interesting to me; I know two women who have been on them for years and their breasts are tiny.
I mean, doesn't the pill trick the body into thinking it's pregnant, so there's no ovulation?🤷

Look, your breasts aren't going to grow like you got implants. But do they get bigger? Yeah, they do. How or why? Who knows.

hiddentiger20 said:Nice! It’s good to see some positive examples out there—but honestly, you'll see this same pattern playing out ten years from now too... though I really hope they stick to this path. 👍
As for the varicose veins... those are usually just a byproduct of pregnancy. Most women I know who've gone through it say it's because they don't rest enough afterward. So, regarding the veins? I wouldn't blame the pills.

I don't plan on taking them for another ten years. Look, of course I want a baby too—but not right now. I'm just not ready, and I don't have the means to support a child yet. That's why I use the pill. I'd much rather make that sacrifice myself than be irresponsible and get pregnant before I'm prepared.

Nicole Parker93 said:I took those pills twice for about a year—and man, the side effects were brutal. My veins in my legs looked so bad I couldn't even look at them, and the pain was so intense I had to hold my arm in this weird, awkward position just to get some relief.

So what actually happens to women who stay on these things for years? 🤷

Like I already said, I’ve been on them for years and honestly? Nothing. Absolutely nothing. Aside from having bigger breasts, regular cycles, and a perfect body, there's zero issue.
Period talk: Questions and advice in Women's Health ·
I’ve been on birth control for years—specifically six. Of course, I take a break every two years and stay on top of my regular OB-GYN checkups. Honestly? The only side effects I’ve actually noticed are perfect skin, a steady cycle, slightly fuller breasts, and great hair.
But then again, everyone reacts differently...

And yeah... I haven't ended up with an unplanned pregnancy or brought a little miracle into this world before I was ready.
