Applying for a loan while living abroad in Banking, Insurance & Loans ·
Which bank in which state would you guys suggest if I want to avoid all the massive headaches
with paperwork and stuff... when applying for a cash loan?
I'm looking at places like Nevada right now... they offer the same amount and term
but the monthly payment is exactly $68 lower! 👍 So it definitely makes sense to head out of state
to grab the loan.

What are you talking about with 60A? If it pulls 30-35A on the +12V rail, it’s fine. But that’s just a guess...

🤣🤣 😁
Seriously though... what are you thinking? That 60A thing😍

And this other one is pretty much identical to that beast of yours👍

Finally tracked it down:

It's this one:

Could this be 60A?

And this one should be 72A...

thanks

Kyle Sanchez4 said:850w is a joke, plus you can't even trust their power specs

What's the worst part? 😁

And what should an actual 850w unit look like?

Also, why two +12V rails... does that mean it's 60A? Or what?

thanks

Is this PSU actually any good? Check the specs here:

Power Specifications:
110/220V, 50/60 Hz
+3.3V, 36A
+5V, 30A
+12V, 30A
+12V, 30A
-12V, 0.6A
+5Vsb, 5A

It’s just some random no-name 850W unit.

Thanks
Anyone still running Windows 7? in Software ·
can someone walk me through how to actually install themes for Windows 7
the issue is that some themes work instantly when I click the icon, but others just open up the theme settings window without changing anything at all... nothing happens besides that pop-up
i've got the shell folders, en-US, SiCo Big, SiCo Small, Wallpapers, plus stuff like shell32 etc...
how do you actually get these things running? do I need some specific software or what?
I'm pulling these themes from this site: http://browse.deviantart.com/customization/skins/#

thanks

Just wanted to drop my thoughts. Everything’s working fine so far, except for two things... First, with this HP PSC 1215, I can't find any option to check ink levels anywhere, and there's zero way to adjust the print quality settings. The old drivers won't install, so Windows just went ahead and slapped on the default drivers recommended by HP...
I checked the HP website too, but nothing I found actually helped...
The second thing is that out of five times I boot up the PC, once—right after Windows loads—the whole thing just freezes... a quick restart fixes it, though. It's pretty rare... mostly, I'm happy with how the week has gone 🙂

Anyone happen to have a fix for the printer?

thanks

Yeah, it does. Cranked it all the way up to 100%.

Any idea what else could be causing this?...

Anyone else dealing with this issue on Windows 7 where the audio is way quieter than it was
back on Windows XP?
The second I finished installing, Windows just slapped on some generic driver and I could tell immediately the volume was underwhelming. So, I tried to fix it by
manually installing the official manufacturer driver (which supports Windows 7), but it didn’t change a thing..
Everything is cranked up to max, but it’s still significantly quieter than it used to be on Windows XP
Any way to fix this? It’s especially annoying because I can barely hear myself when I'm on SIP/VoIP calls...

thanks 👍

Long story short, I've started putting together some solid strategies regarding importing from China, but I'm currently lacking the capital to pull the trigger on my own. So, if anyone out there is looking to team up or explore some collaborative opportunities, please reach out...

Shoot me a PM with the details. Let's see if there's anything actually worth looking at.

Noah Sanchez39 said:Just Google "Windows 7 themes" and you'll find them. 🙂

I'll look, though I haven't found anything useful yet.

Got a question... does Windows 7 Ultimate let you download a language pack
for a different language, like... maybe Spanish? So everything shows up in Spanish?
What's the actual process for that?

Also, from what I've gathered with Windows 7, even if it pulls down 90% of the drivers—maybe even all of them—
it still happens that some driver isn't 100% compatible, so you have to run an upgrade or just install a new one manually. It happened to me where the network driver was acting up and the connection was garbage. Once I grabbed the official driver straight from the manufacturer's site, everything worked fine.

Noah Sanchez39 said:Have you checked out what's available on this page? Just right-click the desktop, hit Personalize, then select Get more themes online. 😉

Yeah, I saw that... any other sites out there?
Seems like there's a ton of themes listed on there...

Quick update:

Everything’s mostly running fine, except for the printer. I’m missing those specific options
to check ink levels, tweak settings, or adjust print quality...
The HP website just tells me to stick with the automatic
driver installation, which is exactly what I already did.
I was also having a headache with my Marvel network card.
Even though the driver installed automatically and showed up as a Microsoft driver under the options
the connection would just drop every ten minutes, even when it said it was connected.
I finally grabbed the actual driver straight from the Marvel site for Windows 7
so we'll see if that actually fixes things...
The rest is solid.

Anyway, where can I find some decent Windows 7 forums?
Besides the usual Microsoft ones, there aren't much out there...

thanks

Yeah, I get it 🙂 ... me and a few others are pulling the signal via wireless from one router, so we set it up to avoid overloading the bandwidth...............
Got the week installed. Only thing was I had to manually grab the sound card driver after the fact. Now I'm hunting down the graphics driver—even though Windows already installed one, I can't find any option for TV-out anywhere... stuck if I am.
One more thing, how do you actually get icons onto the taskbar?? I can't seem to pin anything down there...

Also, are you guys using the default Internet Explorer or switching over to Firefox?

thanks

Keith Bennett38 said:If you're running on a slow connection, that’s gonna be a headache. Windows 7 doesn't just grab drivers; it pulls all those OS patches too. If your speed is trash, that could take forever... ☕

Joshua Garcia3 said:All my drivers just popped up automatically during the Windows 7 install. If anything's missing later on, you can always hunt it down and install it manually... not a huge deal. 🙂

Does that driver install during the Windows setup itself, or only after it's done...?
So, if that happens right after the install, does that mean it's just grabbing the drivers from the web?...
And if you don't have high-speed internet, that can be a real pain too... 😁

Whatever...

Joshua Garcia3 said:Just Burn image to a DVD and you're good. The graphics card shouldn't give you any trouble... 🙂

thanks a lot 🙂

one more thing, when installing Windows... do I have to manually hunt down drivers
like back on Windows XP, or does everything just pop up automatically? I think I read somewhere that they do...

thanks 🙏

I've got this ISO file sitting here: 7600.16385.090713-1255_x86fre_client_en-us_Retail_Ultimate-GRMCULFRER_EN_DVD.iso

So, I'm wondering if just burning the ISO to a DVD is enough...
Or what exactly do I need to do to make sure it actually functions as a bootable disk?
I'm using Nero 9

I went ahead and grabbed that tool from Microsoft to check my rig
to see if it's ready for Windows 7... everything looks fine, except for one thing. It says
it's not certain whether Aero will run because of my GPU...
The card is an Nvidia 6800 GT with 256mb DDR...

Help me out here...

Thanks 👍
