Headphone recommendations? in Computer Peripherals ·
Hey 🙂

Just browsing Best Buy for some headphones and noticed they’ve got a deal on this carrying case.
http://www.tmart.com/Nylon-Storage-B...k_p245150.html

Use coupon code: skullcandy
It drops the price to $0.99... 🙂

If anyone needs one, it looks decent enough.
ECS vs. BioStar motherboards? in Desktops ·
I gotta say, ECS motherboards are absolute bottom-of-the-barrel trash... I've seen two separate cases where boards just completely died on people for no damn reason. As for BioStar, who knows...

thanks for the reply 🙂
Samsung monitor - where should I take it for repair? in Computer Peripherals ·
Hey,

Got some issues with my Samsung monitor that's still under warranty. The paperwork says Accenture is the authorized service center, but now I'm seeing they merged with this MR service group that has a pretty bad reputation... honestly don't know if I should drop the monitor off with them or if there's another authorized Samsung shop somewhere else...

Thanks 🙂

I’ve got those speakers and they’re solid. Quick question though—isn't the one with the indicator light supposed to be the right speaker? You've got it set up on the left...

Which printer is best for using generic ink? in Computer Peripherals ·
rustysurfer79 said:That’s fine and all, but what if it isn't the battery? What if it's the Intel? Believe me... out of 20 of these chips, at least one is always totally fried.

I'd try to fix it if I could, but if not, I'm just grabbing a new cartridge or an Intel from eBay...🙂
Which printer is best for using generic ink? in Computer Peripherals ·
I've been running an Epson Stylus for about two years now with those refillable tanks since day one. Picked up all the ink and cartridges on eBay and everything’s been smooth sailing. I’ve probably refilled each tank at least 15 times by now. Only headache was the chip on the black cartridge giving up on me, so I had to swap it out, otherwise the printer won't even recognize it's there.
Mandatory pension funds: What are your thoughts? in Banking, Insurance & Loans ·
Hey,

I'm currently sitting in a Raiffeisen pension fund, so I was wondering if anyone thinks I should jump ship to something better? If so, what's the move? Also, where can I actually track how they're performing...

thanks!
Noah Thompson said:Yeah.. lesson learned, won't happen again... now I'm stuck covering the shipping plus an extra 50% surcharge... 😠 I even called the guy who placed the order—he gave me his number and all his info, and now he's acting like he never ordered anything at all... ☕

Turns out you just have to pay these new $3.25 service fees. 🙂

Ashley Bailey2 said:I looked into it briefly. Gas prices in Spain are about $50 cheaper than they are here in the States, so you might want to take a drive over there.

Please.

Basically, that translates to Americans having tiny paychecks or just ridiculous prices for everything...

As far as I can tell, it’s pretty much the same everywhere you go. The only real difference is you might be able to squeeze out some kind of
perk or a bonus. I actually managed to score a $67 gas card once, haha 🙂

I read somewhere that after joining the USA, we'd be able to register cars anywhere in the USA,
is it actually cheaper to register a car abroad?

thanks
Edward Turner56 said:He learned his lesson just like you—either they wire the shipping costs to your checking account upfront, or I'm not even dropping it in the mail.

Yeah.. learned the hard way. Won't happen again... now I'm stuck covering the shipping plus an extra 50% penalty... 😠 I tried calling the guy who placed the order, he gave me his number and all his info, then suddenly acts like he never ordered anything at all... ☕
Zachary Peterson6 said:hmm, pretty sure it's the same amount...

alright. thanks.
Zachary Peterson6 said:you gotta😉

so what’s the damage? charging the same as shipping or less... lol
hey,

sent a package to a buyer but they never picked it up, so now it’s being sent back to me. do I have to pay USPS for the return shipping, or is that covered...

thanks
Best Wi-Fi range extenders for catching nearby signals? in Computer Peripherals ·
The best bet for this is a Boeing 737
Just set it to client mode and bridge it to the neighbor's network. Also, if you actually want decent signal strength
you’re definitely gonna need an external antenna, like a satellite dish or something...

or some similar setup
Forget about trying to make it work with those tiny little antennas.

Nicholas Castillo39 said:Everyone keeps hyping up the Razer Ouroboros... but seriously, can someone tell me what actually makes the Ouroboros better than the RAT 9?
What does it even have that the RAT 9 lacks? I’ve spent the last seven hours falling down internet rabbit holes, and it seems like everyone is singing the praises of the Ouroboros, though I suspect it might just be because it says "Razer" on the box—you know, that whole premium branding thing. It feels like people are buying into the name rather than actual performance. Does anyone here actually own an Ouroboros who can give me a real opinion, or maybe someone using the RAT 9 who can weigh in? Most of what I hear sounds like total hearsay because some friend of a friend bought one and claimed it was either legendary or garbage, and everyone else just repeats it without thinking.

Look, you gotta realize most people hype Razer simply because they've been a staple in the US market forever and they're easy to find everywhere. But if you ask me, whether you grab a Razer or a RAT 9, you aren't really making a mistake—both are solid pieces of gear. I'm running a RAT 3 myself, just the base model, and after a year and a half of heavy use, it hasn't missed a beat. I went with the RAT 3 because I dig the look way more than Razer, since almost all their models look exactly the same...
