Physical Therapy Recommendations? in Health ·
Hey there.

Does anyone have recommendations for a good physical therapist in Cleveland? I’ve dealt with mild hemiparesis since birth, and honestly, I didn't exactly go all-out on rehab when I was a kid.
I spent a little time at a clinic in Santa Monica once, but that was over a decade ago. I have no clue what the current landscape looks like or where people actually go these days.

Maybe something near Santa Monica? A major hospital? Or maybe somewhere in Pittsburgh?

Money is tight right now, so I'm really looking to avoid private clinics if I can help it.

Thanks in advance.

The other two aren't exactly heavy hitters either.☕

I don't get what you're actually looking for in a good film here.🤷

Forest Whitaker is a damn good actor...

I'm with you on Laurie. He’s brilliant at comedy, sure, but this isn't his lane. By the way, if you've got doubts about Whitaker, go watch The King of Scotland.
Melissa Ross3 said:He’s not a disaster or anything—he’s decent enough—but he’s definitely not hitting that top-tier level.

Exactly.
Melissa Ross3 said:That comparison to Al Pacino is just stupid. It’s not like when people say Al Pacino or Robert De Niro are "the same" just because they play mobsters all the time. With Keanu, he actually *is* the same. That same face, those stiff movements, zero emotion. He isn't some legendary actor; he's just okay, at best.🙂

Yeah, I'm mostly with you there... But the exaggeration really gets under my skin. All that talk about how he's katastrofalan or has no clue how to act? Just total nonsense.
Melissa Ross3 said:Lmao, Keanu Reeves is a great actor 🤣 he actually has zero clue how to act. Just the same blank stare the whole time, totally cold

Give me a break. ☕

So what, you think in something like The Matrix or A Scanner Darkly he should've been acting like Al Pacino?

He was with the Bad Seeds. Which, obviously, I think is six times better than him being with Grinderman. (Though, okay, IT'S NOT LIKE they aren't basically the same thing). I’m still going to be happy to see him, and honestly, that’s a bigger reason to buy a ticket right now than anything else.
But I still don't think picking Grinderman as a headliner makes any sense. I wouldn't support it, objectively speaking.

But since it's me—subjective as always—I'm looking forward to the show.

But I definitely wouldn't say in some debate (whether on a forum or over coffee) that they should bring Nick Cave to Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.
Same goes for Morrissey, for instance. I missed him because my luck is absolute garbage, and I would have been thrilled if he showed up, but I'm still not going to go around yelling ABOUT WHAT THE HELL THE ORGANIZERS AT COACHELLA ARE THINKING FOR NOT BRINGING MORRISSEY AGAIN. I just don't feel like the festival is organized for me personally. I think it would be better for Los Angeles to bring in some new names😁 so that this Coachella thing can actually become a legendary festival one day.

It's not that it's "LIKE" the same... it just isn't. Believe it or not... ☕

Besides, who is even saying Grinderman is the headliner? Honestly, I think we'll end up getting someone else with equal or greater popularity...

And if your argument is that the guy was with the Bad Seeds three years ago...
Look, this festival is mostly for the younger crowd, and Grinderman has a decent following that's growing... And not everyone had the chance to see Nick Cave three years ago... and yeah, again, I'm telling you, it's not the same.

Regarding that last bolded part... 🙂

Aha, so you're expecting this to turn into something like Ozzfest? I mean, there's really no point in complaining. No matter how much you might dislike certain bands, the promoters have brought in huge names over the last few years (not talking about the music itself 😁).
GRINDERMAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The prayers actually worked 🤣🤣🤣. It's happening
.
🙂🙂🙂🙂:klap::klap:

I'd give up $117 just to have one day when 😁 finally happens
.
urbannomad30 said:Yeah, you've got a point there. Honestly, I think those two bands sound pretty much identical

No, I didn't mention that anywhere... It's just that I can't stand the whole idea of treating Arcade Fire like they're some kind of "rock legends" coming to save modern music or whatever else people claim
urbannomad30 said:No, I'm being serious. It’s just my take, but I was hoping you'd see how much of a stretch it is to compare those bands. Look, Arcade Fire and The White Stripes are both great and they definitely left a mark, but their sounds couldn't be more different. Even if there were some logic to linking them, this isn't the place to dive into it.

The only thing I agree with is that this isn't the right thread for it. 🤣
urbannomad30 said:The Dead Weather is fine, I guess, but nothing Jack White has done even touches Funeral 😛
though it would be killer if The White Stripes played in Washington, D.C. again. Back then, I barely even knew who they were..

Keep complaining about every single band, whether they've already played or are scheduled for the festival, and see where that gets you. ☕

You've got to be kidding me... 😕

Honestly, let whoever play. I probably won't have the cash anyway... so...🤣
I just can't stand how people worship Arcade Fire.
But if, say, The Black Angels showed up along with some other band actually worth seeing live, I might actually find a way to scrape the money together...

Hmmm... maybe Grinderman? 🤣
but it’s nice that bands like Arcade Fire still show up, actually sticking to their values and respecting the art.

Arcade Fire isn't some "indie-alt" thing or whatever you're trying to label them. They're just a rock band celebrating the beauty of life.

You're totally missing the mark here... 😂😂😂😂

If we're really going there, I'd have mentioned The Black Angels, or maybe Jack White and his latest project, The Dead Weather... instead of Arcade Fire.
And calling them "just a rock band" is a stretch. Thank God they have a million different genres under their belt... saying someone is "just a rock band" feels a bit... naive.
