Yes and no. I’ve accepted it—much more easily than the thought of losing those close to me. But let's be real: the nature of existence means you don't really have a choice but to accept it. Acceptance is the default setting.

The one thing I would never want to know is the specific way I’ll die. That is a heavy burden I have no interest in carrying.

Not in a weeping and wailing sense, but I think of loved ones who have passed quite often. There was one person who meant everything to me, and they've been gone for fifteen years now. I run into reminders of them every single day, and I find myself wishing they were still here by my side. Though, I suppose that's just a selfish impulse.

You're misreading me. My answer remains the same: yes, I am. But when I drop a :2up:, it’s a sign that I’m being dead serious. I don't talk to my actual friends like that. There is a massive distinction between calling someone a "clown" and using a :2up:. Just because a certain way of speaking is colloquially accepted doesn't mean it sounds pleasant. Have you ever actually spent time around people who swap out an "ummm" for a "f*** you"? That would be a much closer comparison to your "ridiculous" and "silly" labels.
