Nicholas Ward59 said:I mean, sure, winning is great and all, but honestly? It doesn't really mean much to me because I'm just not seeing any actual progress..

What a load of nonsense 🤦

So, what you're saying is if we managed to pull off three straight championships, that third one wouldn't count for anything since there's "no progress"? ☕
I honestly don't even know where to start with this one, but I guess I’ll just dive right in because my brain is already spinning with all these thoughts! kaže:
Yeah, when you look at the mental side of things, it’s pretty obvious that he wasn't carrying quite as much weight on his shoulders this time around, which definitely changed the vibe, and I'm sure you totally get what I mean by that.

😕

Is this some kind of sick joke or what? We’re talking about a game that’s absolutely critical for staying in the hunt for a medal, and they seriously don't have a decent backup ready to go? Please, don't try to lecture me on the psychology of it all—I actually live with a psychologist, so I think I know how a mental breakdown works better than you do. 😉

I honestly don't know how I ended up here, but I guess it was just one of those things where you click around and suddenly you're part of a whole new world, though I'm still trying to wrap my head around everything! kaže:
Honestly, I guess the only move you've got left is to just start throwing infantile little emojis around at this point.I’m honestly just hoping you don't try to paint me as some kind of sports illiterate just so you can feel like you've won some imaginary debate... it’s such a classic John Doe move to go after the person instead of the actual argument, you know? Honestly, with that kind of aggressive approach, you could probably land a job at Fox News without even trying.

🤣 🤣

So, help me out here—how exactly did you interpret that as a personal attack instead of just me pushing back on your points? Honestly, if you felt personally insulted by what I said, that’s really on you, because I’m always going to toss in a smiley face just to give the text some actual feeling, since that's pretty much what they're there for anyway! 🤷

Well, look at you over there, going full John Doe on me—it’s basically a textbook case of attacking the person instead of the actual argument! 😉

I honestly can't even begin to tell you how much I love this vibe, because honestly, sometimes you just need that specific kind of energy to get through the day, you know? It’s like one of those moments where everything just clicks and you realize you're exactly where you need to be, even if things feel a little chaotic or totally unpredictable at times. I'm definitely overthinking this, which is pretty typical for me since I tend to spiral into these deep reflections about absolutely nothing, but there's just something so incredibly refreshing about this whole situation that makes me want to celebrate it. kaže:
I mean, seriously, what kind of logic are we even using when talking about John Doe? His national team is easily at least 20 percent weaker than Team USA, yet they still managed to keep us fighting for a spot in the semifinals until the very last second of the game. If you really want to get pedantic and fight with arguments like that, just look at the league stats—John Doe is the guy who consistently schools John Doe in the NFL with basically the exact same roster.

That was definitely a little bit of a jab there... but honestly, I can see you're totally on board with what the previous guy was saying about team sports, specifically how one superstar player can't really carry the whole load no matter how massive their presence is on the court. ☕

Look, I'm not gonna drag this out any longer because, honestly, my free time is pretty precious to me, so let's just wrap it up here—and hey, do me a favor and pass along my best to all those friends you've got on your ignore list. 👋
Jonathan Barnes5 said:Back when the French were the absolute favorites... things were totally different than they were in London, and nobody was feeling this pessimistic... most people actually expected us to lose to France, which is a huge contrast to how it felt in London..

But as soon as things leveled out, the guy just choked again. Plus, there’s this super important point I gotta make... seriously, tell me, when was the last time Dule stepped up and completely flipped the offensive rhythm in our favor once our initial game plan fell apart? You see what a world-class playmaker does when his squad is trailing... just look at how Palmarsson handles it, like when Kiel was losing and he turned everything around... Dule is a solid player, sure, but he really lacks a backup plan for when he gets neutralized. He's just a one-dimensional player to me..

🤣 🤣

So basically, you're saying a game where a loss means you're out of medal contention is somehow less important than a game where you just get another shot... wait, let me wrap my head around that one more time... 🤣 🤣

Once the knockout stage kicks in, every single match is absolutely critical..

Anyway, I’m not even going to get into whether he choked or not—I won't even mention the fact that he looked more squeezed than a lemon after being steeped in tea—I’ll just point out that handball is a team sport, and honestly, no individual player can do much without decent support from their teammates. Compared to Dule, Balic was at least two-dimensional, and we still ended up getting crushed and knocked out in "unimportant" games with him around; heck, we even finished dead last once at the EP.

By the way, is Palmarsson the same guy who lost that "unimportant" game against the very same opponents that Dule absolutely demolished? ☕

Jonathan Barnes5 said:I mean, what's even the point... he totally lost his mind during that random regular season game, too. Ever since he took over as the starter for the US National Team, he's scored like five goals despite taking roughly 836,720 shots😂...

Seriously though, what kind of logic makes a quarterfinal less important than a semifinal? 🤷

Metal is metal, plain and simple ☕

And honestly, there’s just nothing quite as sweet as beating our neighbors 😬

Raymond Palmer8 said:Man, it was crazy how right at the start we were basically tied up, and then both us and the Americans just totally choked and lost the ball on those fast breaks...

I didn't catch the whole thing from the jump, but I saw the score on the screen—it was 1 to 5 for the Americans after that last breakaway by Cupic🤷

Honestly, if anyone was actually timing how many seconds pass before the refs raise their hands, they'd see that team is easily the most passive offense out there, which is just wild to watch.🙏 🙏

Doug from a mile away🙏 🙏
Britney Spears 👋

Chosa is totally hooked up to the machines 😳
Honestly, these guys from down south make more technical blunders than the developers over at Microsoft Windows 🤣 🤣
Raymond Palmer8 said:I feel like we just aren't seeing enough fast breaks actually turn into points lately, you know? It’s kind of frustrating because it feels like we have all this momentum building up, only to have it fizzle out right when we should be burying them.

5/5 🤦

Raymond Palmer8 I can't even begin to tell you how much I love this topic, though I'll probably end up rambling about it way too much! Honestly, it’s just one of those things that stays on my mind, and I feel like we really need to dive into what everyone is thinking.
Man, they really seem to be hyper-focused on grabbing that bronze medal this time around, even though it’s still just out of their reach. 😁

Honestly, we didn't even walk away with a bronze medal from the World Cup, so I guess we can't really complain too much! ☕
Duvnjak is seriously stepping up to take over for Balić... they are absolutely tearing him apart out there🙏 🙏

Man, he’s just out there trying to achieve that perfect physique... you know, aiming for that total bowling ball look 😁

It's honestly wild how those guys intentionally left Vori hanging out there all by himself 🤣

Come on now, let’s look on the bright side... things aren't actually that bad... Katy mentioned that it looks like we might have lost Copland for the rest of the season 😬

I mean, look at that last play where he cuts in from the wing and takes that shot from the short corner...

The guy probably nearly had a heart attack when that ball slammed right off the post! 😬

Honestly, that’s probably the first smart call we've seen since he took over as head coach

edit: And here's another one for you—Cupic at right wing🤣
