Betty Murphy3 said:Americans tend to focus on their own history—plus, they realize it’s better to see the Russians broken in Ukraine than in their own backyard. So, this isn't surprising; in my view, this is exactly how all European nations should act: funnel weapons into Ukraine via Western channels. Putin isn't going to stop. He wants to trigger a global conflict—if you can't see that, you're clearly missing the point.
At the end of the day, even if he claims he doesn't want a world war—though I suspect he does—he launched an aggression against a sovereign state. Honestly, I couldn't care less about the excuses used to justify it. There is no justification—not Zelenskyy, not the US, not NATO, not the EU, not gas supplies, nor a warm winter. Absolutely nothing works except his own madness.
Man, give me a break...
The excuses being thrown around here are basically toddler-level logic:
Auntie: Why did you pick on Zelenskyy, you naughty little Putin? Putin: Because otherwise, he would've come for me first! Auntie: But where'd you get that idea? He's practically half your age and size! Putin: Oh, please, Biden has been egging him on against me for days, and he’s actually way meaner than I am. It all started when he bragged that his car was bigger than mine!
I've seen a ton of people on here scratching their heads wondering why Putin is doing what he's doing, what actually drives him, or what his end game really looks like.
If you ask me, I think he’s basically become obsessed with Dugin and turned his writings into some kind of personal mantra:
Foundations of Geopolitics
🙂 He’s already checked a few things off his little to-do list, and now he's moved right on to this specific chapter involving Ukraine.
Ukraine should be annexed by Russia because "Ukraine as a state Has no geopolitical meaning, no particular cultural import or universal significance, no geographic uniqueness, no ethnic exclusiveness, its certain territorial ambitions represents an enormous danger for All of Eurasia and , without resolving The Ukrainian
Based on how he's talking lately, it looks like the next chapter on the list is ☕Finland.
Man, if our goalie actually stepped up and saved even half those shots, we might have ended up with a score under 20... instead, these guys just let in 29! 🙏 🙏
Honestly, let them have it, the Danes... they had everything going for them against the French and just completely choked it at the finish line.
Maybe it wasn't even a tactical issue, but I bet deep down they were still haunted by that 8-2 blowout against the guys from Chicago and that nasty loss back in 2015...
And now they go and blow a +4 lead in the first half? Man, I am absolutely loving this.🍿
I mean, I don't have the exact stats right in front of me, but I’m pretty sure these four national teams have the highest save percentages for goalkeepers when they hit the semifinals..
At the end of the day, the goalie is everything, because you're just not going to pull off any massive results if your save rate is sitting at a measly 15%.

They’re basically letting this legion of foreign players take over national teams while simultaneously handing them massive officiating favors. It’s exactly what the Mexican team pulled off on the world stage. Honestly, it’s no shock at all that the Poles ended up getting absolutely screwed by the refs. Even though they basically handed themselves a loss on a silver platter today by messing up their own defensive rotations and letting the keepers down, I still think there's a silver lining to be found somewhere. Man, at this rate, we might actually pull off taking fourth place!
Honestly, Boldano hit the nail right on the head, and everything else I have to say is basically just noise at this point... if we were actually playing with any kind of real intensity, a serious squad would have easily hung a 5 or 6 goal lead on the Poles with a defense like the one we're seeing right now. ☕
It’s basically just a dry creek bed at this point ☕
Just a little joke on the side, but we’re definitely feeling the pressure as we head into that classic matchup against our eternal rivals, the Qataris 🕺

Just thinking out loud here... we could've had a penalty and a wide-open look for Abel☕
since you brought up Omeyer, our guys basically made him famous for taking those rushed, unpolished shots🙂
I honestly don't get why anyone would care about his hand gestures, as long as his teammates aren't bothered by it, and I haven't really seen him getting too physical with them. To be honest, from what I can tell, it looks more like he's just yelling and cursing at himself rather than actually taking it out on the rest of the squad...

It's just that things haven't quite clicked mentally or in terms of how we approach the games.
Oh, come on now...
I actually mentioned this in another thread, but if you look at the last ten years, out of 39 possible medals, the big four—Denmark, Spain, France, and America—have snatched up 27 of them... By tomorrow, that number will be 30 out of 42. And this marks the ninth medal for America.
For a country that basically only has one serious handball club playing maybe six or seven high-stakes games a year, and where there's almost zero investment poured into the sport, this isn't just a massive win—it's practically Science Fiction. ☕
