Anyway, I'm going to go get ready for 4:00 PM. 🎉🎉🎉
Maybe the whole office is reading this right now and eyeing each other suspiciously.😁

Or maybe it's a combination of things...

Thinking you’re actually going to be a perfect parent. Like, believing you won't mess up, that you have all the answers, and that your kid is somehow destined to turn out flawless. It's a trap, I guess.

February 22nd. I was surrounded. Completely cornered by the enemy. With the very last bit of strength I had, I kept fighting back. My fingers were going numb. I could barely breathe. It felt like the oxygen was just leaving my lungs. I kept pushing. I was making progress, but every time I did, I felt myself slipping away. A flash! I couldn't even tell if I was still alive, but I kept fighting. Another flash! Then suddenly, someone else was fighting right next to me. Or maybe I imagined it? A hallucination? But no. I actually saw her—this masked woman with blue hair, fighting my battles. She was surrounded too. She grabbed my hands and told me, "Hang on!" "Get up! Fight back! Fight, Josh!" The enemies started backing off. She drove them away, fighting harder than anyone I've ever seen. I asked her, in this shaky, quiet voice, "Who are you? Where did you come from? Why the mask?" She didn't say a word. She just kept fighting.
The woman I’ve always wanted to be! 🍿
Man, my mind is racing with all sorts of associations now. 😁
I'm doing alright, thanks. I've mostly been cycling lately, haven't really run in a while. But I guess I should probably get back into it soon, I definitely miss it.
So, I’m just sitting here by myself right now. It’s actually pretty nice—chilly out, totally peaceful, just soaking it all in while I wait for a friend.
Alice, I realized I haven't even congratulated you on the baby yet. So, yeah, better late than never, I guess. 😍😍

I can basically just sign off on this, though I'd have to leave out the part about people bothering me while I drink it. 😁
