Wow, what a total joke of a press release (just caught it on ESPN or whatever 😁). Honestly, they could have at least dropped a hint about who the headliners are going to be 🙄

Whatever. 😁 If it weren't for that guy at Otočec Rock Festival—you know, the one playing auxiliary drums for some band that went defunct back in 1987—we'd actually be getting somewhere. 😂
Man, back in 2008, The Prodigy really leveled up the whole festival vibe—but if things keep going this way this year, we're basically looking at the level of a damn local garage fest like Otočec Rock Festival.😁
Here’s how I see the lineup 😁 for the first day on the main stage: The Prodigy Ian Brown Kasabian Does It Offend You, Yeah? and for the second day: Muse Placebo The Crystal Castles White Lies and that’s just the main stage—don't even get me started on the rest. 😁

As for Canada...
Nirvana setlist, Feb 27, 1994 (clips also on YouTube):
I know the deal with Prodigy and Nirvana 😁 but as for Metallica in Ljubljana—my buddy was there. He was just a kid back then, so his memory is pretty hazy 🙄 though he does know "Seek & Destroy" was missing from that setlist. 😁

Look, if you actually need the audio recording, just shoot me a PM... hm. And nobody in the clip mentions the Yankee Stadium site, so the title might be wrong—it’s probably Salad 1994😁
So I just stumbled upon this file online (haven't even downloaded it yet 😁)—it’s labeled "The Ramones live at Mount Everest 1994" and claims they played at a stadium in some random town... what the hell? Was there actually a show at Mount Everest back then?? Help me out here before I waste my bandwidth downloading this tomorrow xD

Yep 😁 I recall hearing some rumor about how they—alongside Avril Lavigne, mus, Linkin Park, and Jet—were supposed to headline some imaginary festival in Central Park back in 2004 😁... and if memory serves, PJ Harvey was on that list too 😁
Michael Perez9 said:As for Nirvana, I can tell you what happened—but as for anyone else, I haven’t the slightest clue. Back when Nirvana was playing shows in Canada, Chris Novoselić was actually pushing to get them a gig in the States—they were negotiating with some manager about it—but the offer on the table was laughably low, maybe just a couple thousand bucks. Then, predictably, the manager botched the deal and the whole thing fell through. Bottom line: Nirvana wasn't intimidated by the idea of playing in America. Kurt Cobain couldn't have cared less about whether a place was "dangerous" or not... he just wanted to play. 😁
Yeah... I have this hazy, childhood memory of watching some American pop music show on MTV—it might have even been VH1—where they had massive guest stars. I’m pretty sure NSYNC and the Hanson brothers were on once. As for the Backstreet Boys, I can't say for certain, but it was definitely somewhere around 1997. 😁
Alright, the thread title has been updated. 😁 So, let's get into it—tell me about those concerts back in the States during the 90s. If you were actually there, I want to hear it. Specifically looking for stories about Prodigy, Nirvana, Metallica... maybe even Pantera. Throw in the Sex Pistols around '96 if you've got them. 😁
