OP Sonovi and Dauterije, I guess I might actually have to cough up the cash for a ticket after all. 🤔

Honestly, my system really takes care of me—it’s actually quite kind, I suppose—but I can’t exactly push my luck indefinitely. I mean, I've already managed to get myself into a bit of trouble at work, and I haven't even been on the job for six months yet. 🙂 Besides, I could certainly use the cash. 🙂

the singer is just a total crook—yeah, oh...

and I suppose we should probably ask Kyle Jackson54 about it too.

I feel like I'm being called out here.

🙂

God, you're really testing my patience today. 🙂

I won't be replying until the very last second before the registration deadline—so don't go getting all worked up about it.
I think I might have misread you for a second there. :foka:

Though, I suppose you could probably trade it for some half-decent guitar pedal or something.🤷

Heh, honestly... those glasses don't look like they could handle even a fraction of the pressure from a standard American head. :S

It looks like Neno will be there too 👍

Well, wouldn't you know it—he actually remembered, so I had to step up and beef things up a bit. :gigaval: Trying my best not to laugh out loud here at the office. 😢
Man, I just remembered there was some kind of thing coming from Horrors, but honestly, I was so completely wasted—(and I’d definitely had a few rounds of bourbon before that, too)—that my memory is basically a total blank. Anyway, 😍
What a bunch of pretentious nonsense—and honestly, they haven't even bothered to clarify if ticket prices are jumping by 10%, 20%, 50%, or even 100%.

At least they aren't being this vague over here.

To be frank, this kind of marketing stunt just leaves me feeling completely indifferent toward the whole festival. ☕

I suppose Live Nation is just as terrible when it comes to this stuff, though at least there we have some idea of which artists might show up and what The Cave will look like.
🙏

There's a certain kind of boldness that actually makes sense—if you look at it from a certain angle, anyway. 👍

Go jump in a lake, you moron. From what I could tell—and this is just my own loose estimation, mind you, maybe even more—of the hundred or so people rushing the stage last night, perhaps five of them actually deserved to be slammed straight onto the concrete. The rest? They just let themselves be tossed into the crowd by people who were more than happy to carry them. I mean, it’s not like anyone suddenly decided to sprint blindly into a mosh pit; there was plenty of room to step back if you didn't feel like hauling some guy who’s clearly wasted. Besides, even Mambo Kurt ended up being carried by the crowd, and he survived half of the Pauk. 😁It was quite the spectacle for everyone else.

Though, personally, I wasn't particularly impressed.

EDIT: If you're getting old, that's your own damn problem.

Ahem, you’ve already crowd-surfed once. Okay, fine, maybe you just sort of drifted through the crowd. 😵

Sheep = Ewe = You
It’s a bit of a stretch to think they could actually hold a crowd's attention on a main stage, regardless of how incredible their musicianship might be. 😢

I remember catching them at KEXP—they were absolutely brilliant live. It was December 7th, 2006, if my memory serves me right. Let me just double-check Google... Ah, turns out I was off by a day. December 8th.

Hmm, I suppose I’m trying to picture it... On some tiny little stage, they might actually be quite incredible. 🎉 Even for a daytime set. 🙂

I’m seriously going to lose my mind if they limit us to just beer and then subject us to some rigorous inspection.

Look, if you aren't going to let me buy hard liquor—or even just some decent wine—then don't screw me over, because I am definitely bringing my own alcohol!
Lambchop was actually pretty decent during their set—honestly, I didn't even mind that the crowd wasn't an absolute mosh pit for once. 🙂

If I have one major grievance about the whole show, it’s definitely that incredibly dull and eyesore of a poster and ticket design... which, I suppose, says everything you need to know about my overall experience.

Long live the great bands!
Tuesday and Wednesday, ugh 🤮

I’d much rather see Nick Cave at the Kennedy Center 🙂 but I suppose I'm still glad he's making the trip.

Again, seriously? 😬 It would actually be pretty cool to catch Rapture, too. I'm going to go check if they have any plans to drop a new Disco album this year... after a bit of digging, it looks like there's nothing announced yet. 😢
