And honestly—condoms trigger dryness for me too

Keep swapping them out until you actually find the right one—because let’s be real, none of these are even close to what you need. And honestly, it’s not even about whether you did your homework or did some deep dive online—the first thing you should’ve done was ask her about her family medical history, period.

What does birth control have to do with condoms and fertility anyway?

Jerry Walker79 said:Wait, why on earth did you take a whole month off? That makes zero sense. 🤷 You might have actually gotten your period if you’d waited longer. Plus, you really should wait until your period starts before jumping back on. If you start on the very first day of your cycle, you're good to go from day one. Though, most doctors will tell you to play it safe and use a condom for that first week just in case.

My OB-GYN actually told me to keep using protection for the entire first month—because apparently, the female body is just weird and anything can happen. Like, we aren't counting on it, obviously, but better safe than sorry, right?

So I finally snagged a set of Triquilar... and honestly? They’re killer.

I’ve noticed there seems to be a much higher chance—honestly, I even read somewhere that this is when twins are most commonly conceived—even though there isn't a single trace of twins in either parent's family tree.

Honestly, these OBs are killer—even though I switched over to using Jess during the month, they still turned out 👍

And why exactly would anyone complain about how the cops handled things?

So, a buddy of mine just got busted on his scooter—no license, no helmet, nothing. And this wasn't even out on the road; they caught him right in his own driveway. The cop took down his info and all the bike's details, but he didn't give my friend a formal citation or write up a statement on the spot. My friend didn't have to sign anything either. The officer just told him he’d be getting a summons in the mail later. Is that actually how it works? Can he still get a court date if there isn't an official report filed right then and there?
Logest vs. Yasmin: Which one is better? in Women's Health ·
Did you actually ask her about your medical history and any underlying conditions? If you did, then don't bother changing anything—she did exactly what she was supposed to do. The only reason to tweak things is if you’ve got some specific health issue that requires extra monitoring. If not, just go ahead and update the OB/GYN info.

Look, girl, if it wasn't absolutely soaked in blood, there’s no way it could have just slipped out on its own—unless you were so hammered that you accidentally pulled it out while you were hitting the bathroom and just completely blanked on it.

Jamie Barnes60 said:Then why was there all that hype about how Yasmin has the lowest hormone dose and whatever else...? Just total nonsense.

Look, they're expensive, and let's be real—OB-GYNs get kickbacks, so they start pushing certain brands harder, which is basically how the whole Yasmin craze started. That’s the only way I can make sense of it. Most decent doctors will tell you straight up that Yasmin isn't actually the low-hormone option; they'll point you toward Logitech instead. I used to believe the myth that Yasmin was the lowest dose because I read it on forums here and heard it from other girls, but once I actually looked into what the top-tier specialists were saying about the whole thing, I realized the truth.

placidgardener99 said:Look, I know I’m being a total pain in the ass and basically being my own 😠, but for the sake of this community, I’m saying it again: Yasmin actually has more (way more) hormones than Logitech, Celia, etc.
If your doctor prescribed you Logitech because they claimed Yasmin’s dose was too low, then you need to take it up with them🤷—but let’s be real, most people are too lazy to actually read the ingredients, and since "everyone says" Yasmin is the lowest hormone pill out there, they just take it for granted.
Personally, I think sticking to the lower hormone ones (like Logitech) is better, but honestly, that won't fix your specific issue. You really need to dig into why you're bleeding. If it's breakthrough bleeding, it could just be your body adjusting—even though you should've been past that after five months—but it could also be something more serious (for me, it ended up being an endometriosis symptom).
And my two cents at the end of the day: if you aren't taking these for a medical necessity (PCOS, endometriosis, whatever), just quit taking that poison 👎.

Thank God we have some informed people here who actually realize Logitech has the lowest hormone level! Hallelujah! Yasmin is just a trendy name, nothing else, and all that crap about how it doesn't make you gain weight isn't even true. Birth control pills are just pills, they just have different compositions. Also, Yasmin doesn't have fewer hormones than Triquilar, because the hormone dose is identical; Yasmin just has a different secondary hormone in it. People, please—actually read the official pages, listen to various doctor opinions, and check your prescriptions so you stop being so uninformed!😁
