If I were in her shoes, I’d go ahead and get a urine culture done too.

There are far too many self-proclaimed "experts" on this thread, and they consistently mistake opinions for facts.
The reality is that under the guise of gathering data for factual analysis, companies are actually harvesting information that has absolutely nothing to do with the task at hand.
Furthermore, it is a plain fact that almost every corporation tries to scrape user data that they have zero legal right to touch, simply because it falls outside their legitimate business operations.

essentially everything that falls under the IRS's jurisdiction...
This applies to legitimate income. The IRS doesn't care about that. They care about the money moving under the table—the stuff that bypasses the standard reporting forms.
If someone transfers money to your account that isn't labeled as salary or a professional fee, the IRS hasn't caught it yet. Now they might.
Let them. If you aren't cheating the government, you have nothing to fear. Since so many people choose to cheat, let them live in fear.

Laura Chavez93 said:Perhaps a bit more research into the subject matter is required...☕ W-2 forms are sent directly to the IRS—they contain everything from net pay to taxes withheld and social security contributions
A W-2 is tied to payroll, not to bank account turnover or current balances. Get your facts straight before posting nonsense on a forum. What does a W-2 have to do with checking an account balance?

And how exactly do you think the IRS gets that info? They have direct access to bank databases? Yeah, right...

Until they actually sign the deals, most people won't give them a second thought.
I’m not old, and I wouldn't have any trouble filing for a refund, but I am completely done with paperwork—for the rest of my life. I have no intention of settling for some half-baked health insurance cards.
Once they finalize those contracts (and start using them just like everyone uses Medicare), they’ll become a legitimate threat to Medicare and, if my math is right, State Farm.

These supplemental insurance cards are pretty much useless since they just reimburse you after the fact. It means if you end up in the hospital without a massive savings account, you’re stuck taking out a loan just to settle the bill.
A far better option would be having the insurance provider pay the bill directly.
It’s also a real problem for seniors and people with chronic illnesses who constantly need prescriptions or medical services but don't have high salaries or deep pockets.
Even for someone like me, who doesn't personally struggle with the costs, there is zero sense in dealing with the headache of paying upfront only to chase down a refund later.

I’ve used those standard ones plenty of times and they still work just fine. I'll probably grab some extras on eBay since the prices there are much better.
It's true—everything actually worth having seems to have been discontinued lately (well, maybe not everything). Now, the strategy is to force you into buying replacement parts more often just to pad the manufacturers' profits. That's just how the game is played. Unfortunately.

I own that device, but I have no idea what kind of rubber electrodes you're talking about.

I have always factored shipping costs directly into the buyout price (and I made sure to point that out whenever someone requested shipping alongside the buyout). For smaller items, this increases the total cost by roughly $6.75 (at least, that was the case a few years back).

You can find replacements on eBay. They're way cheaper than what we deal with here (I think you $46)

You have an autoimmune thyroid condition—Hashimoto's...
I recognize certain symptoms as being classic indicators of hypothyroidism.
Others might weigh in with different perspectives, but in my view, we're looking at a case of mild hypothyroidism (if such a thing can even be called that). If your doctor insists everything is fine, demand a second opinion—because all signs point toward hypothyroidism.

It looks to me like your kidney function is sluggish, even if your lab results fall within the normal range.
