Oh boy, you didn't post this until FP3 had already kicked off!
But hey, I'll help you out this time. Just try to get it posted a bit earlier next time, okay?
For those who might not be aware, during one of the testing sessions, Matt unfortunately struck a deer on the trail and ended up in a coma. He isn't responding to any external stimuli right now, and the doctors are honestly unsure how long he’ll stay this way or if he’ll even pull through.
feraldriver said:Could someone please upload this to a file-sharing site? Just anything except RapidShare—I’ve had enough of those. If you could find it in an MPEG or AVI format, that would be ideal, though honestly, I wouldn't complain if it was just a 3GP file. Does anyone have a reliable link handy?🙂Alright, I think I'll just switch over to my phone.🙂...if it’s at all possible, I’d love to see the entire race... You're very welcome. If there's anything else you need me to tackle, just let me know. I'm happy to help.
Do you think you could handle transferring 1.5 GB?
For those of you worrying about how this penalty for Alonso affects our betting pool, don't sweat it. The standings are always based on the official results—meaning whatever the final classification looks like after tomorrow's race. Besides, let's be realistic: Alonso isn't going to break into the top ten anyway, so there's no point stressing over his pole position bets or a potential win unless some absolute miracle happens on track.

P.S. I’m running a bit behind here—I just got back from a road trip last night and was hoping to get my bets in before midnight, but the admin has been tinkering with the forum servers all evening. I even have a Print screen of the vBulletin message if anyone needs proof. 😉Is that alright?
Don't worry about being late; they're valid until midnight.😉
I'm currently crunching all the numbers right now. There's quite a lot to sift through, so I should have everything ready for you later tonight. Sorry to keep you waiting—I finally wrapped up my finals! 🙂

I don't want to clutter things up by starting a whole new thread, but I'm running into a bit of a headache with Kaspersky. It keeps happening where I just can't seem to connect to certain websites. I'll try refreshing once, maybe a few times, and then suddenly it works—but if I just disable Kaspersky entirely, everything loads perfectly without any issues at all.
It isn't exactly a massive disaster, but it’s definitely one of those nagging little irritations that pops up when you least expect it. Has anyone else dealt with this kind of thing? Does anyone happen to know a fix for it?
1. Fernando Alonso 2. Michael Schumacher 3. Kimi Raikkonen 4. Juan Pablo Montoya 5. Nick Heidfeld 6. Jacques Villeneuve 7. Villeneuve 7. speed 8. Nico Rosberg

I won't be able to lock this thread until Friday evening, so I'll take care of that as soon as I get the chance. Just a heads-up: any posts made after midnight won't be officially recognized—unless, of course, you have a truly valid excuse, which would need to be printed in triplicate and notarized by a local official 😛.

My apologies—the results from the last race are running a bit behind schedule. Since I've been caught up in some testing lately, I’ll likely be crunching the numbers for Silverstone, Canada, and Indy all at once 😉
Indianapolis might just be saved 👍👍👍 We'll know exactly what they've settled on in about five days, 😁
Indianapolis Mayor: noise agreement reached
The Mayor of Indianapolis and residents of the US city have reached an agreement that will allow motor racing to continue visiting the historic circuit.
According to Indianapolis mayor Michele Faglia, meeting between the local authorities and the families who complained against the track's noise levels has ended on a positive note, with a written agreement in place that will be submitted to the district court.
A Chicago court ruled last November that all competitions will be temporarily banned at Indianapolis unless a suitable system to reduce the noise levels will be implemented. Earlier this month, a US civil court magistrate upheld the ban.
However, attempts have been made to reach an out-of-court settlement between the circuit and local officials, and the complaining residents.
According to Faglia, Indianapolis authorities and residents have "agreed on two points: to study an action plan that will allow the autodrome to carry out its activity with limitations applied to events with high acoustic impact, and to mitigate acoustic pollution with noise-absorbing barriers built by specialized companies."
USA Today reports today that the document will be submitted to judge Marco Manunta with a request to revoke the court ban.
The next court hearing on the matter is scheduled for March 30th.
