I'm chill 🥳
But every once in a while I still see that notification pop up at the top of my screen Firefox prevented this page from automatically redirecting to another page which basically means the issue isn't actually fixed yet. Did the porn at least show up like some people were praying for? 🤣

...and suddenly life feels alright again...
P.S: I'm using Chrome
Thanks! At least I don't have to deal with that obnoxious neon blue color anymore👋

It's the exact same thing on my end. Honestly, wouldn't it be way better if the forum stayed pinned to the left and they just shoved the entire ad block over to the far right? I might eventually get used to the forum being centered, but I'm so hardwired to click stuff in the left corner that now I have to be super careful with my mouse movements, which honestly bugs me way more than the actual ad or that obnoxious blue color.

Like, seriously, there are more fixed ones than there are from dlap Just being selective with your gripes? Honestly, it doesn't even matter😬
Nothing bothers me.
I didn't lose anything.
The reason I noticed is because my own post was quoted, and then it just vanished thanks to your little intervention.
You didn't strip the "unnecessary quoting" from my post, so I'm just sitting here wondering if it's becoming some new standard rule where mods scrub redundant quotes, or if you're just doing it when someone asks. You don't even have to reply, I think I get the picture.
jadesailor14 said:I’ve fixed a ton of posts because people asked, but clearly, you aren't bothered by this one. 😬 As long as the request doesn't mess up the flow of the conversation, I'll always do it—honestly, it doesn't make or break anything for me.
Look, this one isn't rubbing me the wrong way either, it just feels kind of weird that a quoted section just vanished without any drama, like trolling, spamming, fighting, or some broken link that actually needed a moderator to step in.
Following your own logic, you could have also wiped out the "useless quote" on my post in this same thread if I hadn't specifically asked you to, right?
And those other edits you mentioned on various posts were probably legit necessary, like resizing images, fixing a link, or merging two posts together and stuff like that.

My post
Last year we ended up planting some stuff near our neighbors. I know they were talking about wanting to plant some chokeberries the whole time. They finally tracked some down and now they're fruiting. They were exactly like the ones you're describing. I see these trees loaded with berries and I ask how they taste. My neighbor goes, "here, let me give you some to try," while acting all smug and grinning under his mustache. He handed me a handful of berries, and the second I put one in my mouth, the taste was just straight-up inedible. My husband saw the look on my face and decided he wasn't even gonna touch them. The neighbors just laughed at us, saying they tried them too and thought they tasted gross. They didn't even know if the fruit was ripe, when to harvest it, or what the flavor profile was supposed to be either.
Her response to my post
actually people don't really eat them fresh or just use them as a salad topper. They're best when blended or used as a syrup or juice. We have one little tree, and we're actually harvesting part of the crop for juice right now.
It seems to me she was replying specifically to the bolded sentence.
And hey, major props to you for spending your time correcting supposedly "unnecessary" quotes on top of dealing with RL and your regular moderator duties.
This isn't even really about the original thread, but it's got everything to do with how the food sub is being moderated and that whole friendship situation. I actually caught this post before the mod stepped in to edit it. They wiped out this specific part, which was just my own comment that some user clearly realized way too late she was quoting—and let’s be real, everyone in the foodie community knows she can't stand me, plus apparently I'm on her block list too.
Is it even possible to ask a mod to fix a mistake that's purely personal like this? If you look at the posts, they're both just regular people talking about aronia berries and whether or not they're actually good for you. There’s no off-topic nonsense, no insults, no trolling, or any other random drama that would ever justify a moderator jumping in to delete things.

Look, it's not like your skin is the only thing that needs water, obviously. Your entire body needs it just to function without falling apart. Like, my husband deals with some serious spinal issues, and his GP—who also happens to be a nutritionist—straight up told him he needs to drink more water because his spinal discs are basically drying out (and the guy barely touches a glass of water all day).
Then again, I guess we're all wired differently. Some people need tons of fluids while others don't care as much. Personally, I’m obsessed with water and usually knock back about 1.5 to 2 liters a day. I rarely touch anything else besides water, unless you count the drinks I have when I'm actually out on the town.
I honestly only wear a bra when I'm actually heading out somewhere. At home? Never. Not in the summer, not in the winter, not even when I'm sleeping. I absolutely love the freedom of going braless, and since I've got a pretty decent C-cup, I don't have any issues with sagging at all.
By the way, does anyone know how to tell if breasts are actually saggy? Apparently, you can just hold a pencil under them—if it doesn't stay put, they're sagging.🤣 That was a tip from Joan Didion back when she was still writing columns for the NYSE.
First off, I gotta give you some credit for that... Two and a half months. That's it.I guess I just take it, you know? Just sit there and soak up whatever bullshit comes my way while everyone else acts like everything is fine. It’s kind of my thing, I suppose—just absorbing the chaos and pretending I don't mind, even when it's driving me absolutely insane. I don't know, man, I’m just sitting here feeling this weird, constant stinging sensation and honestly, it’s driving me up the wall. It’s one of those annoying little irritations that you can’t quite put your finger on, but it’s enough to make me want to lose my mind if I don't figure out what's causing it soon. 😵 And then they have the nerve to tell you to just go see a gynecologist, because honestly, nobody on this forum is going to give you a straight answer about what's actually going on with you—only an actual doctor who can perform a physical exam is going to know for sure.
You didn't actually say anything about what your period is usually like—how long it lasts, how heavy it gets, all that stuff. Honestly, if you're really worried or confused, you’re better off just asking a gynecologist.
So, I was all hyped up and ready to go, plugging my flash drive into my PC just so I could finally binge those shows I recorded off my digital antenna receiver. But of course, because my luck is just that great, the computer starts throwing an error saying it can't open the DVR file. I’m basically begging any tech wizards out there for some help—what kind of software am I actually gonna need to watch these DVR files on my computer?
I actually got pushed toward getting my tonsils out too because I was dealing with constant strep throat. But my aunt, who’s an ENT, basically told me "don't you dare"—she reckoned I'm better off dealing with a sore throat than risking pneumonia.
Honestly, I think a huge part of why I'm fine now is because I went to high school in Santa Barbara, so being around that salt air all the time really did wonders for me. My throat issues just vanished into thin air.
Lately, I’ve actually been trying to cut back on the sugar intake, though I did make one little compromise. Instead of grabbing a whole cart overflowing with random chocolates and cookies, I just settle for a single Kandit coconut bar that's always waiting for me right by the checkout line at Walmart. 🙂
Honestly, your best bet is just to hit up a gynecologist so they can send you for some bloodwork. At this early stage, it’s really the only way to be 100% sure whether you're actually pregnant or not
