I finally tracked down my lab results for birth control—only just got them on December 30th because my doctor had already stepped away for the holidays. Now I’m stuck. I need to report these numbers to her so she can give me the go-ahead to start Yaz on the first day of my cycle. Ideally, Day 1 would have been January 7th, but everything is a complete mess now and I was actually supposed to start today. Are you sure it isn't the USB port itself? Not the cable—the actual port. Try plugging it into a different slot, and swap out the cable too, just to be safe. Just test everything until you figure out where the failure is, then replace whatever part is acting up.
Could also be an issue with the printer itself... 🤷

Yeah, obviously. The Office suite includes PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Access, Picture Manager—all that stuff. Not Paint, for God's sake. And yeah, it installs right along with Windows... You can't just download a single word by itself. It doesn't work like that—you have to grab the language pack and then run an update on your existing Office installation to switch everything over to the language you actually want... 🙂 🤦
Hold on a second. If I'm actually following you here... You just copy the text, paste it into Word, and now someone can somehow track down the exact page via some specific tag? I don't buy it—doesn't make any sense to me. The only way that works is if they take a few sentences, throw them into Google, and if the search results show up with all those words together, then yeah, they find the site.
Are you even sure a mod didn't just move it somewhere else? Just go to your profile and look up all the threads you started. If it isn't showing up there, just repost it 🤷

Look, you’ve got Adobe Creative Cloud which is solid, Nero Burning ROM, Rufus, BurnAware... Anyway, there are plenty of download sites out there—like this one and this one.
Back when I was playing, I used Microsoft—it’s basically shareware. It was actually pretty decent. I know I had another version once too, but the name escapes me... maybe check with someone over at Sheet Music Plus, they might have a better idea 🙂
EDIT. Just asked a buddy of mine—he says he uses Apple. The guy plays seven different instruments, so I figure he knows what he's talking about.
If I were you, I'd just download a bunch of stuff and see which one actually clicks with me 😁
start -> search -> all files and folders... then just type in *.tmp. once the scan finishes, sort them by file location. find the ones sitting in the folder where you installed Office and kill those. honestly, you could probably just wipe everything. won't hurt anything... there's a second way—way easier. just grab CCleaner and check everything like this. just make sure you back up your saved passwords somewhere first, just in case.
You sure you aren't running some kind of malware? First thing—run a scan with an antivirus and Malwarebytes. If it isn't a virus or something similar, then you probably just have a setting messed up somewhere... Btw, which version of Word are you using?
And why am I constantly getting errors—ranging from 404 to 505? It’s driving me nuts... I’ll be writing a post, hit send, and then some 504 error pops up—but the post still goes through anyway. Then I refresh the page, and it just keeps posting over and over for every single refresh. Total waste of time...
Look, if you’re dead set on pairing a cheap printer with cheap ink, just go find a used one... prices are basically half. Just a heads up though: watch who you're buying from—make sure it actually works and you can get it installed on your PC without a headache.
Personally? I think a solid printer is worth the investment. Especially an all-in-one—you know, scanner, copier, printer, all that stuff. If you aren't doing anything crazy and just need basic prints, it’ll last a long, long time. I had an HP for seven years before I finally swapped it out—ran into a minor issue, they fixed it under warranty, and it’s been running perfectly ever since. Sure, it was pricey upfront, but it pays off. Besides, you can always grab one on a payment plan if cash is tight.

Hey. I've got a problem. Whenever I'm hanging out on the forum and don't post for more than five minutes—or if I just open a different thread in another tab (I'm using the latest version of Firefox, not sure which one exactly) or a new window (in Internet Explorer 7)—it logs me out. Is this happening to everyone else on the forum, or did I mess something up in my settings, my browser, or... something else?
