I switched from Yaz to Lindy, mostly because of the price, but also because of all the headaches I was getting, plus my libido totally tanked. Overall, my skin is fine, nothing really changed—maybe a pimple or two over a few months, but that happened on Yaz too. But hey, that’s just me, I guess. Everyone reacts differently.🙂
So I’ve got a two-month prescription, but the folks at the pharmacy told me I can't just grab a single box. Apparently, I have to take both because if I only get one, the whole script becomes useless for the second one. 😕 Does that mean if they gave me a six-month script, I'd be stuck buying all six boxes at once?? I’m a little confused, honestly. It’s not like it's hard to call them every two months for a refill, but maybe it's easier to just deal with it twice a year...
I never really dealt with anything like that on Yahoo... I mean, I’ve had extra pounds and a low drive, but nothing quite like this. Maybe you should just take a break from the pill for a bit? If things keep happening even then, you’ll know it’s not them.
I honestly thought that was the deal because my doctor—who actually gets paid for this stuff—told me so. If she messed up, I’m sure I wasn’t the only one she gave that advice to. I mean, if I’d bought the pills earlier and actually read the fine print, I probably would’ve called her to double-check, but by then everything was already done. I’d already finished the inactive ones before starting the new pack... I just wanted to see if you guys think what she said makes sense or not. It’s not like I have an issue using condoms; that's exactly why I'm even posting here to get a second opinion... I’m not exactly the type to just sit around at home praying for the best.😛
So, I switched from Yaz to Linidynette. My doctor told me to finish all my active pills plus the inactive ones on the Yaz pack first, then start the Linidynette right when I’d be starting the next round of active Yaz pills. But then I checked the Linidynette instructions, and they say if you're moving from a 28-day pack, you should start the first pill right after the last active one. Well, I already finished all the inactive ones and I'm starting Linidynette today, so I guess I'm just crossing my fingers and hoping I'm still actually protected..

I’ve been on Triquilar for a little over a year now and it was okay, I guess. No real side effects, maybe I’m just being more emotional, though my breasts haven't actually gotten bigger, which is a bummer 😢 and I might have put on a tiny bit of weight, but honestly, that’s probably just because I’ve been lazy and eating constantly 😁 ugh. I originally went with Triquilar because of the price ($20)—even though my boyfriend and I split the cost, it’s just easier on a student budget. My gynecologist told me those pills aren't exactly top-tier, but I grabbed them anyway. Now I'm just stuck feeling uneasy about it, thinking maybe I should just pay more for something better just so I don't feel so anxious. So today I went back and she gave me Yaz instead. Tomorrow is my last Triquilar pill, and I asked her if I should start Yaz the very next day or wait until the scheduled restart day (next Thursday), and she said to wait. But the instructions say you can start the new pack immediately after the old one ends. What’s the smarter move here? I mean, obviously I should listen to my doctor, but now I'm just stressing because the manual says something else 🤷

And this lady comes up to me and insists they have to keep my prescription. 😕 She’s claiming it’s only good for six months, but I told her straight up that my doctor said it’s valid for a whole year. Then she starts acting like it’s some special private script that expires in six months. I was like, look, my doctor literally told me it lasts a year—and it actually says that on the paper—but she just ignores me and refuses to give it back. 😕 Honestly, I'm totally lost here. Like, why even bother? When I first got the tablets, the script was supposedly good for six months, but when that ran out and I went back for more, my doctor told me it's actually good for a full year. It’s written right there on the prescription, but since she wouldn't hand it over, I can't even prove it. I don't get what happened. Now I'm wondering if I'm stuck going in twice a year just to deal with this nonsense for years to come. 🙂
So, on the last day of my second week, I totally blanked on my pill. I ended up taking it over 12 hours late. The instructions say if you miss a pill during the second week, just take it when you remember and keep going with the regular schedule, and you should be fine. But if you miss one in the third week, apparently it's best to just start a brand new pack immediately without any break. Since I wasn't really sure, I just went ahead and started a new pack anyway. Is that actually okay? I mean, did I mess up or make the wrong call here?
I’ve got three pairs of Mango sneakers that look amazing, but honestly, all three have stretched out like crazy 😢 😢 I was wondering if there's any way to tighten them up a bit, maybe by cutting them down or resizing them? They come out looking great after a wash, but that takes forever 😁

Honestly, it’s reality that really creeps me out. Like, the stuff that could actually happen to anyone in their everyday life. That’s why I’ve always preferred slashers over those "supernatural" horror flicks. Plus, there’s nothing quite like that feeling when you suddenly lose all sense of security in the one place you're supposed to feel safest.

There’s a ton of clips from this movie floating around on YouTube right now. Honestly, it looks incredible. After all the trash horror movies we've been getting lately, this actually seems pretty legit... one of the deaths from the film if anyone's interested, you should probably check it out...
AMC Theatres is dropping it on September 24th this year 🙂 in the US it's August 28th, but honestly, it doesn't even matter since two years ago we were stuck waiting until Halloween itself..
