Drugstores, pharmacies, or whatever...

Honestly, you might want to just head to a dermatologist, because if your scalp is itching that much, it’s a sign you're dealing with a fungal infection... otherwise, maybe try some Asebon $10👍 or even T-gel like $25👍

So, how exactly do they pull those out?.. I’ve always had a massive phobia of needles😳 ...will they give me some kind of anesthesia first?

So, I managed to stab myself with a freshly sharpened standard wooden pencil😳 right in the tip of my right index finger. It went in pretty deep—like, the pencil actually stayed stuck in there for a second before I pulled it out—but now I can clearly see that some of the graphite is still lodged inside. It’s visible, and honestly, it feels way too deep for me to try digging it out myself. My finger is really throbbing.
Do you guys think I should head to the doctor for this? I'm worried about catching something like sepsis or something similar.😕
My Friday was honestly such a drag 🙏 🙏 🙏 ....I’m still feeling it... if anyone happens to have any good photos 😕
So, I don't know all the gritty details... I think it has something to do with a defect in her heart valves, so she shouldn't overexert herself and things like that. They've been giving her blood transfusions, too. We're still waiting on a definitive diagnosis, but she's being transferred to a hospital in New York City now.

I was just explaining how we talk about it here. It's a viral disease. Happy now?

Right... yeah... and once the virus realizes it's entered an adult's body, it just gives up immediately.👍
Maybe take it down a notch... this is actually a serious topic... and if you don't really know what you're talking about or don't have anything helpful to add, it's probably better to just stay quiet... go hang out with Gen Z instead.
Oh, and thanks for the info... I never would have guessed that mono was a viral thing spread by spit.
Jamie Long49 said:I honestly thought it was just typical teenage angst.🙂

😕 ...so why on earth would that be?
Look, I'm not trying to play doctor here... I don't have any medical training and I'm pretty clueless about this stuff, which is exactly why I'm asking you guys.
Sam Hall15 said:...it could be a long-term inflammatory process that wore the body down, leading to a drop in white blood cell counts, which then made the infection even harder to fight off.

Mononucleosis immediately came to mind for me. Is it actually a good idea to go visit them at the hospital if there's a chance this is something contagious?
High iron levels? And I think my hemoglobin might be low too 😲... if that’s even possible.
I’m asking about a woman in her 40s. She has a congenital heart valve issue, though I’m not sure if that’s even relevant right now. She’s been coughing for two weeks, and over the last couple of days, she spiked a fever of about 103°F, which landed her in the hospital. Her white blood cell count is low, but her iron levels are high 😕 . She keeps passing out. Overall, she’s just incredibly weak and pale—she can barely get out of bed on her own. The doctors haven't given us any clear answers yet. She thinks they might have had to resuscitate her when she collapsed, but she isn't entirely sure. Does anyone have any insight or ideas?
Thanks to everyone for the help.

My Holter monitor mostly picked up things during the night... honestly, I don't even really pay much attention to it anymore.😎

I really believe it's doable. How can I actually make this happen within just three or four weeks?😕>

Is it through dieting? Or maybe hitting the gym hard?😕

I was also wondering if there’s any way to delay things without using hormones... I’m heading to the beach soon. I’d love to be able to push it back by maybe 3 or 4 days.😳I know it might sound a little silly, but if anyone actually knows of a method that works, I’d really appreciate the help.
Hormonal Contraception: The Pill [General Discussion] in Women's Health ·
Back when I was Diana-35, I was absolutely out of my mind😠. I was aggressive, totally misandrist, and basically hated the entire male gender😁. Now, looking back, I can’t help but laugh at myself😁. It turns out those weren't even birth control pills—they were actually prescribed for some hormonal imbalances, and I just ended up using them for contraception👎 because that happened to be a side effect.🤣
Look, I’m not a medical professional, so I might be totally off base here, but I wanted to share my two cents.
That echoing sensation is almost certainly due to Eustace tube dysfunction. You might want to try using some nasal spray along with some hydrogen peroxide ear drops at the same time to help equalize the pressure.
Everything else could easily be chalked up to stress. I know that’s probably the last thing you want to hear. You mentioned you aren't living a stressful life—okay. I used to say the same thing, but then my body just started falling apart and I felt like everything was going wrong (and honestly, it was), all while I was getting frustrated with doctors who couldn't find an answer. It’s very likely something suppressed is bothering you without you even realizing it. You mentioned serving in the military, and man, if that isn't stress, I don't know what is. To be honest, your belief that you aren't stressed feels a little hard to swallow... we're all under some kind of pressure. Stress isn't necessarily about what happens to you; it's more about how you process it internally...
But still... please go get every test possible. That is incredibly important. You really need to rule out any physical underlying issues first.
Matthew Ramirez3 said:So, I guess I misunderstood. I was actually expecting some actual experiences or maybe even a list of side effects...!

But honestly, what's the point if they don't even work? You'd just be someone popping pills for nothing.🤣

Anemia. And honestly, sometimes it’s just purely psychological.
