If you're dealing with an HP branded machine—meaning the BIOS is locked down tight—you can pretty much kiss overclocking goodbye. Your options? Maybe toss in another 2GB of RAM or swap out the graphics card, but that’s about it...
I don’t really care for traffic laws... but I try to bend them whenever the road allows it and I know I won't screw anyone over.
Like, if there's nobody around, I'll blow through a red light, or jump a pedestrian signal. If it's crowded, I just use the road or the sidewalk however I feel like.😬
At night? Rules go out the window. But I always make sure nobody's tailing me, coming at me from the opposite direction, or sitting in my blind spot...
Guess I'm just a bit of an idiot. A total jerk on two wheels.😁
We were testing the Z323 2.1 and the Creative T3130 at the office... Once I heard how that Creative setup actually sounds—that punchy bass and crystal-clear audio—it was game over. Logitech’s sound is just garbage. I mean, sure, if you keep the bass at zero on the Logitech, it’s fine. But the second you crank up the bass? It completely trashes the rest of the audio. Everything gets muddy and muffled; all you hear is the thudding and zero high end. That's when it hit me: Logitech is total trash and Creative is incredible. Plus, Creative is actually cheaper... it might be a tiny bit weaker, but it's totally worth it.
The small ones are 2.5" and just run off your USB port. The big ones are 3.5", need their own power bricks, and are a total pain to carry around compared to the little guys that actually fit in your pocket.
You won't be able to touch any card at all... The real question now is whether you actually need specific features from NVIDIA or ATI.. And let's be honest, some games just run better on NVIDIA while others prefer ATI..
The 5770 pulls about as much juice as a 100W bulb... 🙂
I'm running a Fortron PNF 400 W with dual HD 5770s and an overclocked Phenom B50 at 3.6GHz @ 1.45V, plus fans and drives I know I'm being a broken record here—annoying myself and everyone else on this forum—but honestly, someone has to say it when people just refuse to believe the facts. 🙂
And from what I can see, you didn't even bother checking the link.
ATI rates the Radeon HD 5770 for 18W of power consumption at idle and 108W maximum board power at load.
Thank God the first sentence actually says it right: that 207W figure refers to the total power draw for the entire PC.
