By the time he actually pulls the trigger, there'll be plenty more out there.. And honestly, it just comes down to how much cash he's willing to drop... Maybe he should just check the OC PDF for some actual advice then
With the budget stuff, you aren't hitting 5GHz for sure, but a decent model might push you toward 4.0 or 4.5GHz... Just keep in mind you'll need a seriously beefy cooler to actually handle that heat.🙂
So you're worried about working two hours a day? I'm sitting in front of my computer at least 6 hours a day on average—sometimes hitting 8 to 10... and I've got one of those lower-end Samsung Monitor models with a resolution higher than Full HD, and I haven't had a single issue...
🙂
p.s. I'm not saying your eyesight won't change, but who cares? In a few years, eye surgeries will be even cheaper anyway 👍
Well, if there's video memory on the card, then it's there... But looking at the specs, neither of those seems to have any... (though that doesn't mean an HD4350 wouldn't have it—you only gave me the model, not the manufacturer, like XFX, Gigabyte, Asus, or MSI)
What does piracy and counterfeiting actually have to do with public health and safety?

On the flip side, we have to protect these creators because everyone else is profiting from their work except them, Topić points out, adding that nobody in the world has figured out a solution for this yet. The federal agency is organizing a "Stop Piracy and Counterfeiting" campaign for April 21st at Times Square in Washington, D.C., aiming to inform the public about how counterfeiting and piracy impact citizen health and safety, not to mention the damage done to the economy and the national budget.
What happens if someone pairs an HD 6790 with a Sempron 140 and a cheap 350W power supply???
Are they actually going to see any boost, or is it just going to be another massive bottleneck? Or worse—will the whole thing, including the PSU, just fry and die? 🙂
I think that’s what Paul Wright7 was getting at. 🙂
Honestly, it would've been helpful if he’d just listed his actual specs so we aren't guessing.. But my honest advice? Go for the HD 6790, an HD 5770, or a GTS 450. If the budget allows, maybe http://www.nabava.net/trazilica.php?q=gtx460&x=0&y=0 You won't find anything better than that for sure..
There isn't really a difference worth your while.. if you’re truly obsessed with it, just Google the PCI 2.0 vs PCI 2.1 documentation and compare them yourself 👍
as for $133 none of them are actually high quality... don't sweat it if you go with anything from Creative Labs or Logitech when it comes to audio.. just look up the reviews online for any of them. 👍
What’s a good modular PSU I can grab here in the States without breaking the bank? I want something decent, you know... solid brand, actually reliable..
Decided it’s finally time to ditch this old Seasonic 520 w 👍

So you're telling me if I build a custom PC using a new Sandy Bridge Processor, a solid motherboard, and an Nvidia GTX 580, it somehow isn't a "real" computer compared to an iMac? It's the exact same thing—just way faster and a whole lot cheaper when you look at the actual components they both run on. The difference is just the OS, the design, and the logo. Under the hood, that Apple machinery costs three times more than a standard PC.
And hey, you can easily just buy Mac OS X, slap it on a junker, and suddenly you've got a Mac.🙂
As for the Apple logo? I'll give it away for free if that's what it takes. I might even take a bite out of it.😁
Ronald Jones7 said:I need some build advice for an AMD Phenom II (quad Core) X4 955 at 3.2GHz with 4GB of RAM. I’m definitely planning on throwing a GPU in there too, just haven't picked one out yet.
It all comes down to which card you pick... A Seasonic 380w might cut it, but honestly? You'd probably be better off grabbing a Seasonic 520 w... 🙂
There’s gotta be cheaper options out there somewhere 👍 http://www.google.com/search?q=hd5850 Besides, Gilbert already gave us the heads-up a few weeks back 🙂
You can always use it.... I think it's too slow, but hey, maybe it isn't for you? If you can breeze through everything you need to do without a hitch, then go for it. Try it out and see. If it crawls, it sucks. If not, then it works for your workflow. 👍
You've got 5850 for $367.. not 2200 🤦 The HD6870 isn't worth it at that price point. If it's sitting at $200, why wouldn't you just grab an NVIDIA GTX 560 instead? It's basically a tier above for the exact same money...
So you said up to $2,000... we’ll head straight to Best Buy with two grand in hand then 😬
If you're actually looking to save some cash... then check this out (you think this one is a total dud compared to $533 what you can get for $1,100), but look—it won't be nearly as beastly as that link you shared, though at least for $167 the performance gap isn't huge if you just slide the MSI Afterburner clock speed up to 700MHz.. http://www.nabava.net/trazilica.php?...60+1gb&x=0&y=0 or maybe this http://www.nabava.net/trazilica.php?...=Pretra%C5%BEi
It’s not like it’s actually better than just throwing money down the drain... And honestly, two GPUs is total overkill. You wouldn't even notice a difference between any of those, from the 6850 to a GeForce GTX 580.. everything would run smooth as butter anyway.... My advice? Just grab a GTX 560, a 6870, or maybe a 6950 and call it a day. You'll be set for a long, long time. 🙂
