🙂 Partly because of a man's closest companions, if I haven't already made a case for them here: (the local diner) (the neighborhood joint)

They’d be living right here, no joke. It makes you realize why we respect guys like these so much. Personally, I can't stand Mexicans; in my experience, it feels like almost every single one I've encountered is either an overt extremist or even worse—what I call the closeted types. But you don't hear people talking about those folks. Maybe they're just better people than I am. I mean, you could probably argue until tomorrow and still not grasp the sheer level of absurdity we're dealing with here.
And honestly, this city is probably better than any other I've ever lived in. If Washington, D.C. had gone through all that hell, and if we ended up with some equivalent to a "F*** YOU" graffiti campaign in the suburbs, we probably wouldn't have even seen the end of the war. Not to mention what would have happened in San Francisco. You guys are legends.
So, how exactly are you supposed to cook food? (Pancakes, burgers, flatbreads, pies...)
1. Just keep cooking it until it turns black and becomes a literal carcinogen. 2. Keep cooking it until it turns black and becomes a carcinogen. 3. Keep cooking it until it turns black and becomes a carcinogen.
Options 2 and 3 basically cover those little "accidents" where things end up "normal" or just "slightly charred," while doubling as a guide on what to do when that inevitably happens.

To me, this feels exactly like Bogovićev, just flipped north to south.😁

If you actually read this within the context of the thread, you'll see why. She’s not number one because she can't hold a note any longer than Axl Rose or Thom Yorke could. As for who might take third? Honestly, nobody comes to mind, unless you count Shane MacGowan during one of his more... intense moments.
I honestly never understood why people make such a massive deal out of minor spelling nuances or those tiny accent marks. It’s all just noise at this point.
Anyway, here is my unofficial ranking of singers who seem most likely to actually hold their breath underwater for a ridiculous amount of time (my best guess):
1. Thom Yorke (just look at that music video for No Surprises; plus those final "away" notes in Rabbit in Your Headlights) 2. Axl Rose (think about the raw emotion in Don't Cry, especially that howling during the climax of the song) 3. Velina (honestly, after hearing Sheri Sheri blasting on Z1 tonight, I feel like her lung capacity deserves some recognition)
My current ranking of the best pizzas in Washington, D.C.:
1. Some cheap ham from Germany you find at the local grocery store, on a 2-for-1 special for like twelve bucks! It really shouldn't be a mystery which of the usual suspects—price, quantity, and quality—is actually leading the pack here. I can't find a single pizzeria in this city that would charge me enough to $12 actually ruin my life like *six* of them would. 🙂
The most frequent directions I find myself explaining in the middle of the night while walking the dog:
70% - downtown Chicago (mostly tourists who look like they might be scouting for something shady, fifty-fifty chance they speak English, but dealing with the Italians is always the funniest part) 20% - the airport 10% - the Greyhound station
The results from tonight’s 3rd annual toddler snack showdown are in:
1. Cocoa Puffs 2. Chocolate Crunch 3. Choco-Bits
Well... same old story, isn't it?
Cocoa Puffs somehow manages to squeeze out a win every single time, despite how much they've slid down the rankings over the last year. As for Chocolate Crunch and Choco-Bits, they’re basically neck and neck—though, honestly, the quality seems to be hitting a bit of a slump lately.
A quick word of advice for the rest of us: 🎉 Cut back on the sugar! We can't just settle for stagnation at the top forever! 🎉
