On certain sections of the track—mostly at the end of the straights—the whole F150 was bouncing like crazy, while everyone else seemed fine.

They’re probably testing out that "ground effect" concept for next season, so they're getting hit by a bit of porpoising bullshit. 🙏🙏🙏
Williams Racing is absolutely killing it through the pit lane! 🙏

Exactly.

Besides, Ferrari didn't need self-promotion back then.

And that specific Ferrari is iconic. Any decent Formula 1 fan would recognize it instantly—it’s the car everyone associates with the race held right after the tragedy on September 11th.

And who actually gives a damn about HRT? Honestly, nobody. 🙂

HRT will be running updated liveries to honor the memory of those we lost—Dan Wheldon and Marc Simoncelli

What a desperate PR move. 🤮

If he actually had the drive, Vettel could probably win here by thirty seconds...

Hold on, couldn't you say the exact same thing about every single track on this season's calendar? 😁
mistybear87 said:how about the tires? 🤷

They look off. 😲
mistybear87 said:darkmarlin16, don't be silly.
If Red Bull can pull any kind of benefit from this race, more power to them. ☕

There will definitely be some benefits, even if they're minimal.

But those tires! 🙏🙏🙏🤣

Looks like there might be two zones of complete and utter nonsense. 🙂

Between turns 15 and 16... and 3 and 4.

🤦

How boring was that race with two DRS zones?

How many races were scheduled with two DRS zones, only to have one scrapped at the last minute due to some critical safety concern? 🙂

However, is he really as charming as people claim? I certainly don't find him so. He might be a talented actor, but this interview—combined with the way he just ignored Jenson Button in the waiting room earlier, not to mention that finger-wagging incident last year after he collided with Mark Webber—suggests his manners aren't exactly those of a gentleman. Perhaps he is simply too young to have learned better...

And yes, for years now, I've felt that Jenson Button’s incredibly smooth and refined driving style is the closest thing on the grid to the style of Professor Alain Prost. 🙏 🙏

A few years?

Let me guess, since 2009.?

Well, the real Professor did it his entire career, winning in all sorts of machinery and fighting for titles in just about everything.

If you ask me who the greatest driver ever was, my heart would say Michael Schumacher, but my head would say "definitely Prost."

And let's be honest, even Sebastian Vettel can't be put in the same conversation as the most successful Formula 1 drivers of all time.

Chris Ortiz said:Honestly, the man is just insufferable, truly awful.

Plus, he's a mediocre driver who only won titles because of the car.

And Bernie Ecclestone basically handed them to him through the officials.

Unknown! 😁👋🙏

Alonso was brilliant! Schumacher was brilliant! And Perez was brilliant too! 🙏

Kobayashi fell short this time. 😢

Hamilton... 🤦

Is Jenson Button the successor to Alain Prost?

First headline—the youngest champion in history.
Next season—securing a second title in a row.

And damn, he’ll probably be the youngest two-time world champion in history too.

It could have been quite interesting. 🙂

I mean, who knows? If Sebastian Vettel was the youngest world champion ever last season, then with this year's title, he’d definitely become the youngest two-time world champion in history.

It's logical and simple.
Unless, of course, you're Mladen Jergovic.

Or Frank Collins85.

BTW—I see some people here already think they know how the next few seasons will play out. Is there a tip line where I can place a bet? 🙂
Grand Prix of Japan (Indianapolis) 10/09/2011 in Formula 1 ·
Go ahead, Button, cry about it!! 🤣

Of course, it's just another conspiracy against McLaren. And Jergović, seriously, how much lower can you sink? 🤦

Championship finale. 🙏

And that annoying Button. 🤣
Grand Prix of Japan (Indianapolis) 10/09/2011 in Formula 1 ·
^^^^ That was a race absolutely packed with action and pure spectacle on track.

I honestly have no idea what Mladen Jergovic was watching. How could he call that anything other than a tense, incredible race?

Boring as hell.
Grand Prix of Japan (Indianapolis) 10/09/2011 in Formula 1 ·
Look, Mladen, if he was already the youngest world champion in history, isn't it just common sense that Vettel would be the youngest two-time F1 Champion too? 🤔
