Haha, Lewis Hamilton. 😁.

No KERS, but everyone’s still making jokes about it anyway.

Just wanted to point this out—did they increase the cooling intake on the RB?

Likely because of those high temperatures in Miami.

The season opener was a total disaster.

And naturally, Jergović couldn't resist bringing up how much his precious Baton crushed it during that pan-frying race. 🙄

The only thing you can really ask for is a "Tax Free" form. That’s how you claim back a portion of the sales tax from 😁/or whatever they call it there.

If I recall correctly, it should be around 9 or 11%.

Ronald Miller57 said:Swimming... yeah, that's where I hit a wall. Assuming my cardio holds up, I struggle to get through two or maybe two and a half lengths of an Olympic pool before I'm forced to stop and catch my breath. My stroke feels fine—standard enough—but I clearly can't manage the breathing. It raises a logical question: am I just bad at coordinating breathing with swimming, or do I not actually know how to swim at all?

It's pretty much what you suspected. The core issue is that you lack proper 😁 technique, specifically regarding your breathing rhythm.

Once you grasp it—or better yet, once someone actually shows you the right way—you'll find those two and a half laps become effortless almost instantly. 😉

frozenowl10 said:I have one more question! Can exercises I do at home help improve my conditioning? Like push-ups, sit-ups, things like that...

Of course!
Exercises like push-ups will definitely help you build "anaerobic endurance."

Stick to variations of pull-ups, push-ups, core work, and similar movements. You won't go wrong there. 👍

I'd suggest looking up "The 4-Hour Body" by David Goggins online. It’s excellent reading that provides plenty of answers and practical advice.

Regarding running, start with a light pace to establish an aerobic base over longer distances.

Later on, try to vary your runs as much as possible. Incorporate interval training, short sprints, and middle-distance efforts.

To give you an example.
My running conditioning is relatively solid. A 9.3 miles-mile run isn't much of a challenge for me.
But recently, after playing a game of soccer for the first time in a while, I was gasping for air within minutes.

Simply put, "long and slow" running won't prepare you for that kind of effort—where you need explosiveness, agility, and constant changes in direction and tempo.

It's the exact same story with water polo or open-water swimming. Been there, done that. 😉
Does Microsoft Office (either the 2003 or 2007 versions, doesn't matter) have a built-in template or some kind of option for designing and printing CD labels?

If not, what’s the easiest software out there to just whip up a CD or DVD label?

How much space does a Windows 7 Ultimate installation actually take up?

Is a 40 GB system partition enough?
I usually install everything except games on my system partition, while all my media—music, movies, documents—goes onto other drives.

Right now, my Program Files folder isn't even hitting 2 GB.

As long as your precious Michael Schumacher was retired and Ferrari was just dragging itself through the middle of the pack, you didn't even bother to write a single plea for his return. But the very second word got out that Michael Schumacher was coming back? You were absolutely losing your mind.☕
And look—nobody on the Formula 1 subforum was digging up your old posts from 2007 or 2008 just to shove them in your face, repeatedly acting like a parrot telling you how you were wrong and why you shouldn't have that partial ban.

Even if you hadn't been partially banned, it’s highly likely you wouldn't have even been seen on the Formula 1 subforum during the period you were actually serving that ban.
And if you somehow still had that partial ban this season, but by some miracle Michael Schumacher won a race? I am certain you would have shown up with clones on the Formula 1 subforum.

Comparing two Formula 1 fans and their desperate urge to post on the subforum—where one is rooting for a favorite driver in retirement versus the other rooting for a favorite driver fighting for a title and being a main contender for next season—is anything but objective.☕

Let me just address the shaky foundation of your argument right at the start. 🙂

Ferrari, my friend, won the Constructors' Championship in 2008, and they were in the hunt for the Drivers' title until the very last corner of the final race. 😉

So, saying "Ferrari was dragging itself through the middle of the pack, and you didn't even write a plea for his return" is quite a stretch.

And despite Ferrari's successes, I wasn't running around the Formula 1 subforum with clones.

This year— Maminho certainly is.

Gilberthe said:Jason Campbell70's logic suggests that cooling down improves unruly forum users

Gilberthe, don't generalize or lump me in with Maminho.

I am, after all, an exemplary user, an honorary moderator, and a top contributor to the forum.hr community. forum.hr. 🙏🙏🙏

Maminho, on the other hand, is a repeat offender who, despite serving a deserved penalty, hasn't reached the point of realizing his mistakes or deciding not to repeat them.
In short, Maminho's rehabilitation has failed. The penalty hasn't achieved a satisfactory result, and any leniency would only produce a counterproductive effect.

Maminho finally had his chance at it.
But he passed.

And just so we know, the offer from the forum.hr editorial staff still stands.

Now, the ball is in Maminho's court. 🙂

Hopefully, I’ve helped untangle this "Formula 1 Gordian knot" just a little bit.

Best regards,

Jason Campbell70. 🙂

mistybear87 said:Maybe I should just hit you with a permanent ban for the whole site. Then we’ll see if you try to sneak back in with some clone accounts to haunt the Formula 1 section...

Let's try this again:

Jason Campbell70's previous post said:During those two years I was under a partial ban, I didn't create dozens of clones just to keep posting in the "Formula 1" subforum.

Didn't our dear Maminh receive a partial ban from the then-moderator of the "Formula 1" subforum? Wasn't it after he addressed her with such refined, choice language?

Language so "refined" that I felt ashamed just reading what was written. 👎

Joshua Newman2 said:I mean, it’s pretty obvious why he’d find it hard to back Maminh on a personal level. Their whole fallout basically defined the drama around this subforum, didn't it?

Our past disagreement doesn't feel relevant at all to the core issue here. Why should it be?

Currently on the subforum...Formula 1.There are a few other members on this forum I don't exactly see eye to eye with. Does that mean I lack respect for them? Not at all.
I have respect for them. They actually know what they’re talking about. Their writing is eloquent, too. Most importantly? They don't base their entire arguments on total nonsense regarding Ayrton Senna, Fernando Alonso, or other such absurdities.

Joshua Newman2 said:Jason Campbell70's situation actually supports the argument for Maminh's return. After being banned for such a long time, he was given a second chance and successfully made his way back to Formula 1. Doesn't that set a precedent? How can one become a better forum member? There were no more issues with him. It’s what the rest of us believe would have been the case with Maminh, too. 🙏

Top forum member. ☕

And he’s an honorary moderator too? What a joke. 🙏🙏🙏

And I’ll address this one as well. mistybear87:
There is one small difference between me and... Maminh..

During those two years I was hit with a partial ban, I ended up creating dozens of clone accounts just to keep posting on the Formula 1 subforum. Why wouldn't I?

Joshua Newman2 said:And the fourth reason? It’s simple: this is the season for giving. And when you give, you should be sharing that goodwill and love with those who truly matter to you.

I’ll keep this brief—for the forum members. Mamin It’s already been given away far too many times.

He was handed more opportunities than anyone else—so what did he actually deliver in the end?

He was given a decent offer: skip the cloning process for at least a year, and ensure that no "clone" label appears on his profile. Isn't that a fair deal? forum.hr-u

And how was he? MaminIn response to that offer? A few dozen new clones.

I’d add this—he was actually pretty upfront about what he thinks of that offer.

Right now, there are just a few active users left on this forum who haven't been banned yet. MaminA valley of clones.

One last thing—do we really need a forum member who thinks it's okay to call a moderator a "fascist cow"?

redheron12 said:Let’s be real here. Dietrich Mateschitz acts like a saint only because any hint of shady business could tank the "Red Bull" brand, and he isn't about to risk that. If he were living off Middle Eastern oil money like everyone else, you can bet he'd be manipulating 😉

Not even that.

Mateschitz "doesn't allow" those kinds of rules not out of integrity, but because his team doesn't know how to implement them—or simply won't. When they can't find an edge, they just pivot to scoring points through fair play.

It's the same story with McLaren. They didn't go after Red Bull Racing or Ferrari at the FIA for the sake of "honesty"; they did it over flexible wings. Those McLaren drivers only pushed those complaints because they couldn't figure out how to build a flexible wing themselves.

There is no such thing as honor in Formula 1. It's a competition backed by massive amounts of cash, yet there are very few winners—not to mention even fewer teams actually turning a profit from the whole thing.
