Donna Fowler3 said:The second movie totally killed my vibe for the third one. Since the first film was actually amazing, this sequel felt like such a massive letdown once it hit its peak SPOILERwhen she literally dug herself out of her own grave (wait, whose grave?) SPOILER
I was thinking about diving into the books too... does the second book take such a huge dive in quality compared to the first one?
😂😂 lol at that spoiler 😂—especially the part about the box of Cheez-Its 😂😂 that was easily the most brutal part for me. Like, wtf... I mean, Lisbeth is tough as nails, I guess, but still... 😉
So I'm just waiting on that third installment now. The TV tie-in is scheduled for Saturday 😛 honestly, I can't wait to finally see how this all wraps up...
So, I finally finished the second part of the Millennium Trilogy on TV... I heard some people complaining that the sequel was a total snooze fest, but honestly? I thought it was pretty solid. It finally clicked for me just how much Lisbeth has been through... that old guy is such a piece of work... I don't want to spoil too much of the plot, but I really enjoyed the follow-up. Now I’m just counting down the days until next Saturday to see how it all wraps up 😉 and then I'm diving straight into the books 🙂

I’ve got zero complaints—it’s just one big puzzle piece clicking into place. Even that tight circle of characters didn't bother me. At first, I was like, "Wait, why is the scope so limited?" But once the story starts unfolding, you don't even notice. It just works. I'm downloading the other two sequels right now. And a quick favor: please, for the love of God, stop posting about them in this thread. 🙂
Hey, if you don't mind, could you shoot me a DM with that link you're using to download? I'm definitely gonna check it out as soon as I can... 🙂
I thought Noomi Rapace was absolutely incredible... honestly, she felt so real to me in every single part of the story. I am still a little tripped up on the plot details, though. Like, she set her dad's place on fire, but was her mom in the psych ward because of him or because of what happened...? So then Lisbeth basically went on a revenge mission against him...? Honestly, I was totally caught off guard... she’s actually gorgeous. 😉
Caught it on ABC today... honestly, I'm stunned 🙂 I just watched it, and man, I am genuinely blown away... I haven't checked out that Hollywood remake yet, but I don't get why they even felt the need to make a new one? This original version is just top-tier. The acting feels so real, the tension is incredible... now I’m diving straight into the books so I can catch up with the rest of the trilogy... Seriously, it’s been ages since I sat through a movie that long—like, two and a half hours—without constantly checking my watch to see how much longer I had to endure. They actually managed to pull me in. There were moments where I was tearing up, moments where I was just pissed off, parts that were totally revolting... but overall, just an amazing film! Honestly, what was the point of making a remake that everyone is obsessing over right now? You know, the one that'll probably sweep the Globes and the Oscars while this masterpiece stays in the shadows... but hey, that's just how it goes. Americans have to own everything, I guess ☕
Just thought I’d jump in here for a sec 😉 Since this is the first time they’re hitting this track, I’m honestly pretty stoked to see how it all plays out... though I still don't quite get where they even tucked the circuit away given how packed up things are in US India 😂
Lewis is losing his mind again 🤣 I mean, what can you even say? Who do you even blame at this point??? 🤦
Felipe Massa is looking pretty sharp in practice, maybe he'll actually snag pole tomorrow or at least grab a top 3 spot 😍 Man, it would be nice to see him pull something off late in the season... if my memory serves me right, he hasn't even touched a podium this year 😕 😲
Really hoping the Ferraris dominate this Sunday... let's go Fernando Alonso 👍

Yeah, honestly, same here... the trailer was easily the best part of the whole thing. The movie is way too hyped up for what it actually is... Natalie is supposed to be the lead, but she barely shows up for 50 minutes and maybe has five decent scenes, if you can even call them that... the rest just didn't click for me. Like, what is this supposed to be? Some weird mashup parody of Robin Hood, King Arthur, and Peter Pan all rolled into one?☕ ☕I'm totally disappointed... 🙂
fadedwalker18 said:Honestly, after seeing him take the win today, I figured the guy just has crazy luck on his side. I guess that's just how it goes sometimes. It doesn't happen every day, but still...
He’s actually kind of grown on me. I’ve always been more of a fan of his Jessica, though. But when I think about how he landed that seat at Williams Racing back in 2000, and how much he influenced Jacques Villeneuve leaving BAR... yeah, I’m starting to really like the guy.
P.S. Man, Jerga tries so hard to hide how much he likes Michael and Lewis too. But honestly, it feels stronger than that. Just look at Mladen... and Renate. And Mladen never misses a chance to mention, right after leaving the broadcast booth, how he's moving on to much better company than Goranin. The way that guy flirts with Renate... it can't be easy...
😂
Yeah, I agree. I've always been a huge fan of Jenson Button, ever since the BAR Honda days... He seems so 😍 chill, not cocky, just a totally normal guy...
As for Jerga and Sopekica, I can barely deal with his constant "RRRR" thing. I still can't stand watching her; I have no idea what she's doing over there. She's just driving up the ratings big time 😂😂 it's ridiculous. They really should have picked another guy who actually understands F1 instead of her. She should go follow her own stars; this isn't her place, if you ask me. ☕
What an absolute banger of a race.... now we’re stuck staring at a massive summer break until August 28th 😢 I’m really rooting for the Ferrari crew to step things up a notch 😍😍 Huge props to Alonso, and honestly even Button—even though I'm not exactly the biggest McLaren fan... 🥳 Vettel just needs one of those wild off-track excursions 🧐 just to see that lead shrink a little bit...
Seriously though, what is Massa even doing over at Ferrari? They should probably be paying him some sort of bonus just to show up. Look, Massa, you're a great guy, but if my memory serves me right, the man hasn't seen a win in two years... not since that crazy incident where he basically lost his mind, right? 🤷 It’s such a shame for the rest of the team when they're dropping points like this...
Douglas Parker61 said:Felipe Massa might actually pull something off tomorrow... he’s been absolutely killing it on the starts for the last three races, so I wouldn't be shocked at all if he finds himself sitting in the top two right after the lights go out...
👍 I’m really hoping so too... fingers crossed they finally make it onto the podium... 😍 Honestly, if Vettel pulls another win out of his hat like that, I’m done. If he walks away with another 25 points, I am officially checking out of the races for good... ☕ Bernie totally screwed up the points system... Last year felt fine because the cars were actually pretty close, but this season? Red Bull is just on another level...
Man, I am seriously counting down the minutes until qualifying tomorrow... Hamilton looks like he’s actually locked in and ready to hunt. Honestly, after watching him bounce around Monte Carlo and deal with all those other races where he basically tore half the car off 😂, it feels like all that chaos might actually pay off for once... It would be wild if we saw Sebastian Vettel walk away empty-handed this weekend too 🙄. Fingers crossed for Fernando and Ferrari 👍

If they get lucky with a bold call, maybe they'll snag a podium, but if they just play it safe and follow everyone else's lead, they aren't going to see any meaningful results...
It wasn't even about playing games... Alonso nailed that start and jumped straight into P1... any strategy they had before that was basically garbage at that point. They should've just focused on holding that spot instead of making him look like an idiot and dropping him down to 5th. The guy gave it everything he had right out of the gate, but the crew just doesn't get it. It’s funny how the engineer gets a bonus for things going well, but they'd be just as quick to blame Alonso if he'd crashed out... honestly, I could probably come up with a better plan than these geniuses who just screwed him over with that terrible pit timing...😠😠😠
