What's the harm in checking out some hot girls?
Or would you rather have Kolunbo pull a python out of his pants? 🤷

No way, I won't.

Here comes a little more hype and controversy. 😁

That’s just how Anthony says it.🙏

🙏

Alright, here’s something actually worth reading...
The music kicks off around 9 PM with Žbukica, then WCIF should be hitting the stage by 10 PM at the latest—if not sooner.

"And what about you... Mr. Leutar... what do you think... about fostering American-Japanese friendship... and do you feel... that by setting this example... you've brought these two... geographically distant nations closer together?"

They spelled the last name wrong. Bummer. 🤣 Or maybe that's just part of John Smith's charm? 🙏

John Smith:
''Mr. Elvis, what’s your take on how the US national soccer team has been playing lately? Any standout players?''

E:
''Hmm, I don't really watch TV. I'm usually too busy hunting for a power outlet to plug in my bass pedals.''

John Smith:
''Come on... Mario Balotelli? Petrić? Surely you can name at least one?''

E:

Are you talking about the regular Probe shows and the stuff in Bend? 🙏

Just heard back from the venue... the second band on the bill is Žbuka.

So, there it is:

Who's in?

Žbuka

So, looks like those guys from Bulgaria backed out (passport issues and whatnot), which means we’re basically just looking at WCIF now... plus, they're asking for a second band too. I'll let you know if I hear anything else. Catch you later. 🙂

I'll be back soon with the exact timing for the gig...

Give me a break.😠

In your head. Three levels, a ramp, smoke machines. And a big Pepsi sign sitting right on top.😳

Kevin Chavez3 said:Personally, I’d ask why everyone was waiting until 9:45 if the security guards clearly stated everything had to wrap up by 10:30... why didn't the first band kick off at 9:00? What held them up? 🤷

From what I gather, the promoter cleared a permit with the city for the show to run until midnight, but then they spent the whole night ignoring that and insisting things end by 10:00 PM. I actually stepped in and told them 10:30 PM was the limit, maybe pushing it to 11:45 PM at most.
I don't know exactly when the organizer found out they were supposed to cut it at 10:00. She’s the one who can give you a straight answer on that. 🤷
If she knew earlier, then yeah, damn. They should have started sooner. 🤷

Kevin Chavez3 said:The crew acted a bit soft, I'll admit... "Is it ten-fifteen?" - "It's ten-twenty-five!" - "Man, what is the EXACT time?" - "IT'S TEN-TWENTY-FIVE, FOR GOD'S SAKE!!!" - "Alright, we'll squeeze in one more..."

You guys are a great band, but you lacked that punk rock solidarity there. 😢

I'm sorry it went down that way. I mentioned this to the folks from Kyle too... I'm not making excuses, but I heard you guys actually said it was 10:05 at that moment. Besides, when you're on stage, you aren't exactly thinking about the clock, believe me. The organizer should have stepped in and shut it down, or the Kyle crew could have handled it—we wouldn't have had any issue with that and would have packed up in a second.
That's how we handled things when we played Z. Buki and Hebiga; we just told them to cut it because time was up.

And okay, let's say we finished at 10:28 PM... by then, Kyle was still spending 15 minutes setting up, checking the sound, and so on. There was only time for one song. If they had jumped in five minutes earlier, they would have had those same 15 minutes just like we did. We squeezed in seven songs, which takes less than 15 minutes. But they didn't want to deal with the soundboard, and nobody from their side checked the amps or anything while we were still getting our gear ready.

One of their guys came up to us at the end and lost his cool with us. Look, I get it... what am I supposed to say? 🤷

Honestly, the biggest mess here is that most of the crowd showed up specifically for Kyle, and they probably left feeling disappointed. 😢

The party was great later on, though... not many people stayed, but people were dancing and having a good time.

Kevin Chavez3 said:so, what's the deal with the road 🤔
?
It's a simple question: is there a shop, a gas station, or even just a corner store nearby where we can grab some snacks? Or should we just pack our own food?

Honestly, I don't think there's much out there. It's pretty desolate. It's right off the main highway heading toward the outskirts. But, just to be safe, there's a convenience store right at the light rail stop... two stops before we get there (basically marked by that first icon on the map).

If you crash before then, you'll be limping, so you won't have anything to carry anyway. Not that I'm an expert. 🤷

Not an American😂

😍 Look, I get it, man. Those nitpickers are getting on my nerves. Little S. worked her tail off organizing this whole thing... just to give people and animals a great time for free this Wednesday... and all anyone does is chirp about grammar mistakes. 🙄

Americans have been Americans for about 257 years.

That logic applies to the streets, too.

😠 Learn your hometown, Magyar! Or something like that.🙂
