So, I was just sitting here on my balcony, watching the whole thing unfold. Honestly? The little side shows were a bit flat for me. The AP crew definitely brought more variety and actual brains to the table, but even so, the whole thing was a top-tier event. Super professional, flawlessly executed—everything was dialed in at a high level.

Just a massive crowd of people vibing, a pretty solid group of attendees, a chill atmosphere... basically, the whole mood was just undeniably positive.

Shoutout to that old-school girl with the tattoos🙂, I hope you dig the button.

Not likely. The core Spetsnaz fanbase here in the US is definitely 30+.

hehe, she's obsessed with Spetsnaz, though probably not as much as they love Proceed.

The cover charge should be somewhere between 35 - $17, likely around $13. The show is part of the Depeche Mode + Twilight review series, and Boogaloo is a massive club, so we really need to pack the place out.

hehe, honestly, I’m counting down the days until this show finally happens. my expectations are through the roof.
just a heads-up for anyone here who doesn't really vibe with this kind of stuff or only listens to it on a surface level—you should know that Spetsnaz basically grew out of the musical DNA of bands like Nitzer Ebb, DAF, or even early Die Krupps.

The biggest EBM band in Europe (and honestly, the world) right now—Swedish Spetsnaz—is hitting Washington, D.C. before Christmas.
Expect a massive turnout because this is probably just the start of a regular run of shows for all these current electro bands.
Plus, it’s a killer chance for people to finally see what EBM actually looks like in person. Personally? My expectations are sky-high. I’m pretty sure it’s gonna be pure energy and nothing but good times. You’ve got a month to get your cardio up!!

Hard hits from the North!
The explosive Swedish duo Spetsnaz just dropped their new album, Joy Division.
The band hasn't changed who they are; they're still serving up those high-energy rhythms wrapped in minimalist arrangements that are perfect for any underground club's dancefloor. They've taken that signature sound and layered in a bunch of new details. While they kept those classic, purist electronic frontal beats, the album is enriched with tracks that show the band's love for early 80s melodies. A totally new side to these "hardcore hooligans." Through these more thoughtful songs, frontman Pontus proves he can actually sing instead of just shouting into the mic. That perfect blend of power EBM and 80s pop appeal makes this an absolute floorburner.
The Joy Division album was released in a first pressing as a Ltd DCD, where the second disc features 5 new tracks, 3 live tracks, and one remix. Honestly, a ton of great music for a cheap price. Once you've spun Joy Division, there's no need to explain why Spetsnaz is currently in a league of their own in the modern EBM scene. They're just built different.
